Chapter 192 Wanting To Be Your Moon (Part 2)
Verafia’s slender, jade-like fingertips took his hand. She tilted her golden eyes, a light smile gracing her delicate face.
“Ig, can you stay with me for a while…?”
After speaking, she pulled the young man’s hand, signaling for him to follow her.
The maiden’s lotus feet left delicate traces on the pristine snow-covered ground. Yet, the trees were budding, adorning the soft, pure white fallen snow with patches of vibrant green.
Even though they were not under the Frost God’s power, under the serene night sky, the trees and streams were still adorned with crystalline ice, but with the emergence of flames, even a mere wisp was enough to melt the ice and snow.
“Really now, does everything only turn into spring where ‘Young Lady’ walks?”
Verafia pursed her delicate lips, her big eyes looking up, speaking with great concern.
Ig held her small hand. He knew that the girl, speaking so cutely, merely wanted to prevent the somber atmosphere from falling silent again.
The girl said that only where she went would it turn into spring… but wasn’t his spring also only filled with her?
Ig couldn’t help but purse his lips, suppressing the heartache in his heart, his palm tightly holding the girl’s smooth, jade-like, warm and soft hand.
The white snow melted, the stream unfroze, and even the trees began to sprout new buds. However, Verafia didn’t seem to melt all the fallen snow; the pristine snow white was like a pure carpet spread on the ground.
She led Ig, the clear sound of the stream reflecting the pure moonlight. The young man sat by the tree. The magnificent evening gown woven by divine power brushed against his palm as he carefully caught the girl’s soft, delicate body.
Resting her little head gently, Verafia turned her golden eyes towards him and smiled sweetly. The exquisite and gorgeous high heels and the floral over-the-knee stockings were carefully removed by the maiden.
Like a flawless white lotus, her crescent-shaped little lotus feet were gently touched by the soft, bright moonlight, and then carefully placed into the clear flowing water, rendered by the thin night veil.
“Hiss, so cold.”
Verafia immediately withdrew her little feet. She bared her teeth, her delicate body trembling slightly, her soft breaths touching the moonlight-infused air, seeming to form a frost flower.
“Young Lady, you could have used your divine power…”
Verafia turned her head, looking at Ig who was caressing her beautiful hair. Her golden eyes widened in displeasure, then she lifted her small face and playfully chided him.
“Goddess Princess, of course, isn’t afraid of the cold… but, this young lady still wants to experience more of what it’s like to be a girl. Hmmm, really, even though I’m the Young Lady, I haven’t played in the water much.”
After speaking, as if deliberately wanting to play in the water, Verafia swung her little feet, and amidst her clear, bell-like laughter, she shattered the moonlight in the water, pure white splashes blooming in the ripples.
Soft, pure white little flowers fell, landing in the water stirred by Verafia.
“Huh? Why are there flower petals?”
Soft flower petals fell into the water, making the ripples and moonlight sway, like a tiny boat. However, they were not carried by the sound of the stream. The maiden’s nimble fingers quickly caught one.
Ig turned his head. By the stream, next to the tree where they sat, the tree trunk was still wrapped in pristine snow, but it had already sprouted branches, and soft white flowers were blooming on the branches.
Stirred by the gentle sound of the wind, strands of soft flower petals fell in the serene night, scattering onto the stream and the snow-covered earth, like a shower of white flowers.
Soft, pure flower petals touched Verafia’s upturned little face: “Huh? Why are they small white flowers… and they’re flowers I’ve never seen before.”
“Perhaps… these are flowers from this continent.”
Ig gently brushed a petal from her beautiful hair, gazing at the maiden’s gorgeous snow-white face. The falling flower petals descended in his peripheral vision as he smiled softly and said.
“Then, Shiel never told me…”
Verafia puffed out her snow-white cheeks as if pretending to be angry, then suddenly let out a delicate sigh, “Never mind, anyway, they’re all white and so soft, hmmm, this young lady will call them moon flowers!”
The girl carefully placed the flower petals back into the stream. She raised her face, the falling petals twinkling in the clear moonlight, reflecting in her gorgeous eyes.
“Small white flowers represent purity, romance, and sincere feelings…”
She seemed a little lost in thought, murmuring softly.
And also, that eternal love…
Ig picked up a fallen little flower, his fingertips gently fiddling with a strand of the maiden’s hair, and tucked it into Verafia’s golden hair, then using his fingers as a comb, he smoothed it down little by little.
“Does it look good?” Verafia turned her head, her big eyes sparkling with light.
Ig suddenly froze.
In his eyes, only the maiden’s flawless appearance and her radiant smile remained. Whether it was the stars and moon, the sky and the blooming flowers, everything seemed to lose its color.
He snapped back to reality, seeing the maiden’s expectant golden eyes amidst the white flower shower.
Ig smiled: “Of course. Young Lady, you must be a unique treasure in the world.”
“A unique treasure… hmph-hmph~”
Verafia contentedly tilted her little face, her red lips curved, her crisp laughter like silver bells.
She hugged her slender legs and leaned gently against Ig’s chest again. Her raised, delicate face gazed at the serene night sky, the stars, and the increasingly soft moon. She suddenly became a little dazed and murmured.
“But, if only, these small white flowers could be paired with a wedding dress…”
A flicker of sadness crossed Ig’s eyes. He wanted to hold the maiden’s tender hand, but suddenly, a soft and smooth touch, like jade, reached him first.
Verafia clasped his hand, her golden eyes meeting the young man’s, a gentle smile appearing.
“But, Ig, can you lend me ‘End’?”
Ig suddenly looked up in surprise, but was met with the maiden’s gentle gaze.
The maiden wanted ‘End’. Her own sword had been taken by Ig. He vaguely guessed what she intended to do.
Though Verafia now didn’t seem like the initial manifestation of the law of blazing flames, appearing more like a delicate girl, in Ig’s True Sight Eye, she was still the complete and flawless Flame Goddess.
He had already anticipated this in his heart. But when he was with Verafia, gazing at her pretty face, even for a moment, it filled him with reluctance, wishing that they could be frozen into an eternity like pages in a book.
As if sensing the young man’s thoughts, the girl lifted her eyelashes and smiled gently.
“Don’t be like that, don’t look so reluctant. You already know.”
“But, Young Lady…”
Ig opened his mouth, but was silenced by the maiden’s slender fingertips.
“Actually, I don’t know what I look like in Ig’s eyes, do I?”
“Little Fei said, in your eyes, I should be the sun… That’s right, the sun is brilliant and radiant, its light brings brilliance to all things in the world. Without it, even the stars and the moon would lose their luster.”
Verafia slowly turned her face. A gentle smile appeared on her cheek, and the soft moonlight touched her soft hair, as if inlaying the golden threads with a soft timbre.
Ig wanted to speak, but found himself unable to make a sound. The maiden’s melodious voice, like a singing nightingale, played in his ears.
“The Goddess of Flame, the Young Lady of the Phoenix, and the Sun… all shine brightly.”
Verafia suddenly turned her face, her golden eyes reflecting the young man’s face, her delicate lips curving up: “But, actually… I should be your moon.”

It’s much more comfortable without writing sad plot points~
PS: Who knows how long I’ve dragged this chapter on… (vomiting blood)
The last part was a last-minute rush, written too quickly… so many things I wanted to write didn’t make it.

I Was The Hero, But I Woke Up as a Phoenix Princess?!
身为勇者的我竟然成了凤凰大小姐
From the travel diaries of a Phoenix Princess reborn from the inferno, chronicling her life on the road with a supposedly “useless” young hero…
On their journey, their fellowship continues to grow: a Dragon Princess of silver frost, a young Vampire Princess with eyes of blood-crimson, the Saintess of Radiant Holy Light, the noble Princess of the White Iris…
“Hmm?” Verafia paused, tilting her head as she gracefully twirled a soft strand of her fiery hair around a finger. A hint of suspicion flickered in her beautiful eyes. “Ignet, why does this sound suspiciously like you’re assembling a harem?”
“My lady, there is a saying: ‘The fish is what I desire, and the bear’s paw is also what I desire.’ A wise man knows that if he can have them both, his home will be harmonious and all his affairs will prosper,” he began, puffing out his chest with the air of a profound philosopher. “Is that not a truly beautiful thing? A… a paragon of peaceful coexistence?”
He faltered under her smoldering gaze.
“…Ahhh! It was a joke! I’m sorry, Milady, please don’t burn me! I swear my only desire is you!”
