“Alright, then we’ll deal with it together.” Ling Xue said no more. Ling Xue drew out her Soul Slaying Sword and charged towards the black bear. Seeing Ling Xue charge over, the black bear let out a disdainful roar. Ling Xue thrust her sword forward, but the black bear dodged it. The black bear opened its bloody maw and lunged at Ling Xue. Ling Xue dodged quickly, but was still scratched on her back by the black bear’s claws. Ling Xue’s face turned pale.
“Ling Xue, are you alright?” Xiang’er asked anxiously.
“I’m fine, don’t come over.” Ling Xue said.
“I’ll help you.” After speaking, Xiang’er took out the spirit herbs she had picked and threw them at the black bear. The black bear was hit by the spirit herbs and let out an angry roar. Ling Xue seized the opportunity and thrust her sword forward again. This thrust hit the black bear’s eye. The black bear let out a miserable cry and fell to the ground. Ling Xue quickly stepped forward and delivered another sword strike. The black bear died instantly. Ling Xue breathed a sigh of relief and slumped onto the ground. Xiang’er quickly ran over and supported Ling Xue.
“Ling Xue, are you alright?” Xiang’er asked.
“I’m fine, I just got a little injured.” Ling Xue smiled.
“You are truly too powerful.” Xiang’er admired her.
“It’s all thanks to you. If it weren’t for you, I would have died long ago.” Ling Xue said.
“Not at all, I just threw them casually.” Xiang’er blushed as she said this. Ling Xue smiled.
“Alright, let’s leave here quickly.”
“Mm-hmm.” The two of them left Devil’s Canyon. They returned to the inn, and Ling Xue immediately began to heal herself. The next day, Ling Xue’s injuries had mostly recovered. They left Devil’s Canyon and continued heading west. Their journey was still ongoing. Their future still had a long way to go. However, Ling Xue and Xiang’er were full of confidence.
