“Thank you for holding me without hurting me. Are you alright?”
“You’re welcome. Put on some clothes. You’re naked.”
Ul ordered the stunningly beautiful girl straddling him to get dressed.
It wasn’t just an eyesore; it was terrifying.
The beautiful girl before Ul was fearsome.
Her face was perfectly sculpted, without a single imperfection, like a doll crafted by a master artisan. Yet, her expression held the gentle kindness of a mother. Her long, loosely flowing silver hair, which informed him she was Human, draped over her slender shoulders and cascaded down her ample breasts. Her alluring legs straddled Ul’s body, tracing a path to his navel.
Ul found himself unable to tear his eyes away from her, even in this emergency, this crisis. He felt a surge of primal desire welling up from his gut, a yearning to leap upon her and ravish her body.
If I could die here, consuming this woman, wouldn’t that be the ultimate finale to my life?
Such a thought, undeniably born from a mind in overdrive, genuinely crossed his mind, and it only heightened his wariness of her.
This woman is dangerous.
“BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!”
The enraged roar of the Great Fang Boar jolted Ul back to his senses from his confusion. The boar was intent on crushing him to death.
The boar was furious because its True Core Magic Stone had been shattered into countless pieces. Ul could empathize with its rage; his own prospects of repaying his debt had vanished. Despite sharing the same reason for anger, it felt absurd to be facing death.
“This is bad, I’m going to die.”
“Please rest assured.”
With that, the silver-haired beauty sprang to her feet and turned towards the boar. Even her posture was poised, and she didn’t flinch an inch as she faced the furious boar brandishing its massive fangs.
“Spawned from sin, creature of demonic nature, your life bears no sin, but if you obstruct my mission…”
She then clasped her hands before her chest, striking a posture that looked like a prayer.
“I shall defeat you and bear your life.”
The next moment, Magic Power began to swirl around her. A peculiar melody, resonating directly in the minds of everyone present, filled the air, accompanied by crackling static.
Magic (Technique).
The method for reproducing miracles, devised by Humans, who harness Magic Power, the source of all phenomena in existence, to manifest their desired outcomes. She was wielding that power. Ul held his breath.
“Accept this, Fire.”
Simultaneously, a giant fireball materialized before her. The sight, so far beyond common sense, was none other than Magic. And the ball of flame, moving according to her will, shot directly towards the Great Fang Boar—
“……MO?”
The fireball struck, delivering a soft, lukewarm puff of wind to the boar.
“……Huh?”
“Oh?”
Ul, unsure whether to laugh at the surreal sight of the fireball passing straight through the Great Fang Boar, wore a bewildered expression. Facing him, the beautiful girl watched the conclusion of the Magic she had cast, her brow furrowed in thought for a moment before she raised her hand.
“May I have a moment, please?”
“BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!”
The Great Fang Boar was enraged.
“There’s no time!”
Ul scooped up the girl and bolted at full speed.

“What in the world are you?! Why are you here?! And what about the True Core Magic Stone!?”
“It was likely shattered after consuming my Magic Power.”
“Damn it all!!!”
Ul and the girl had fled into a small room at the back of the Hall.
It was likely a former Warehouse. Thick dust covered everything, and numerous rotted, discarded Relics were scattered about. The Great Fang Boar was likely still rampaging outside. It repeatedly slammed into the wooden door they had sealed right after entering, but miraculously, it hadn’t broken yet, though it was only a matter of time.
After shouting everything he wanted to say at her, Ul took a deep breath. He had absolutely no time to deal with this mysterious naked girl. He had countless questions, but asking them would be fatal.
He had to break through the current predicament. With that, Ul began rummaging through the dusty Warehouse.
“Are you looking for something?”
“Weapons, armor, tools, anything useful. We’ll die if we don’t find something.”
The battered Spear he had painstakingly repaired had also been blown away somewhere by the explosion of the True Core Magic Stone. Well, even if he had used that useless repair on the boar, it would have probably snapped instantly.
“I will help you.”
“Please do. Before the door is smashed.”
And so, the boy and the naked beautiful girl began searching the Warehouse. The Warehouse itself was quite small and narrow. The search quickly concluded. It seemed this Warehouse, or rather, this tri-layered Hall, had been a place for some kind of ritual. Although the ritual’s purpose had been lost after being swallowed by the Labyrinth, the complete set of ritualistic tools remained (though most were deteriorated).
– Ritual Sword x 3 (1 is damaged)
– Ritual Shield x 1 (damaged)
– 2 Robes likely for ritual use
– Multiple vials likely used in rituals
These items, as they were unearthed from the Labyrinth, would likely need to be submitted to the Administrator of this Labyrinth, that dwarf-like man. However, Ul ignored this thought. He would worry about such things after he got out alive.
For now, Ul had the mysterious naked beautiful girl put on one of the ritual robes. This at least eliminated the distracting presence that was threatening his focus in this emergency. Since she had no shoes, he reluctantly gave her his own. Fortunately, their foot sizes were the same, a small blessing given Ul’s small stature.
“Are you sure about the shoes?”
“You can’t run barefoot. I have tabi (worn-out socks I’d sewn many times), so I’m better off.”
“Can we escape?”
The boar was repeatedly charging furiously at the door of this cramped Warehouse. A hole had already appeared, through which the boar’s bloodshot eyes and massive fangs were visible. It would likely break with one more charge.
“I’ll dash out first. While the boar is facing me, make a run for it.”
“And you?”
“I’ll escape when I see an opening.”
If an opening appeared, that is. In the open Hall with few obstacles, Ul knew it wouldn’t be easy to evade the boar’s charge in a straight line. However, if they fled separately, it was likely one of them would be run over and killed.
Therefore, it was numerically more advantageous for at least one of them to escape.
“Try to move quietly so as not to attract the Great Fang Boar’s attention. That way, you might…”
Her words cut him off before he could explain the escape plan. Huh? Before he could even ask, her pale, long fingertips intertwined with his hand.
“I cannot sacrifice you.”
“Thanks for the lover-like line. In this situation, it’s inevitable that only one person can escape.”
“Then I will be bait.”
“The thought of running away while listening to the sound of a woman being ground into mince behind me is disgusting.”
Ul rejected her offer with a disgusted look.
Of course, if he could escape, Ul would have fled the very moment. He wanted to go back quickly, crawl into his narrow, smelly bed at the inn, and fall asleep. He wanted to see his Sister. However, the option of sacrificing a stranger to achieve that was not present in Ul’s mind.
Just because he was “Nameless” didn’t mean he had abandoned his ethics. Some people did, but Ul detested that way of thinking. There were too many such fools around him.
Therefore, he had no intention of abandoning her. It was his original situation to confront the Great Fang Boar alone. Nothing would change. He tried to console himself.
“I’m lending you my shoes. Make sure you run. Bring them back later.”
“Do you want to die?”
“As if! I’ll punch you to death!”
Ul twisted his mouth at the beautiful girl, who looked at him with a puzzled expression and spoke abusively. What was with this woman?
However, upon hearing Ul’s response, the beautiful girl, whether she understood or found it incomprehensible, stared intently at Ul’s face. Then,
“Understood.”
What did she understand? Ul felt like asking, but he stopped himself. He could sense the boar moving away. It was gathering momentum for a charge. The final charge was coming. The door would be pulverized. Once the door was gone, there would be no turning back.
“Alright, as soon as the door breaks, we get out of here. Then, as I said before…”
“I refuse.”
“What?”
“I will fight as well.”
The door shattered. The battle between the two began.
