After finishing our report at the Marquis Amatista family’s estate and finally being free, we headed to the Healer’s Guild at Apricot’s request.
I had heard that Apricot was skilled in healing magic, but if she wanted to register on this occasion, I had no choice but to accompany her as her guard.

It’s convenient and helpful, but healing magic feels a little different.

Guild Magic, not just healing magic, can be used upon registration, but not all of it.

This is natural considering Guild Magic, but apparently, one must be at least B-rank to work at a guild.
While there aren’t many S-rank or higher hunters in the Hunter’s Guild, the same seems to be true for the Healer’s Guild, where rank is determined by learned magic.

This is the first time I’ve seen a license from another guild, but it seems the only difference is the color.
The Hunter’s Licenses that Prim and I have are red, but the Healer’s Licenses are white.

The basic color of the card will be from the first-registered guild, and the guild marks of later-registered guilds will be inscribed in their respective colors.

Apparently, this is a rule established from the guild’s founding to prevent people from applying for registration and then being unable to use it.
The type of treatment varies by healer, and in the past, there was an unscrupulous healer who, when Blood Healing was necessary, only used High Healing to extort exorbitant fees.
Furthermore, when the Healer’s Guild investigated more closely, it was discovered that the healer couldn’t actually use Blood Healing, which caused quite a large problem.

I was wondering what a Medical Doll was when Safia explained it to me.
A Medical Doll is a humanoid doll used for practicing and testing healing magic. It is a magic item made from various monster materials, magic stones, and ores.
It is said to be able to close wounds that correspond to external injuries with healing magic.
It is an incredibly expensive item, costing many gold coins for a single doll, and it is said that anyone who steals one, regardless of their status, will be sentenced to death.
“There’s such a magic item? I didn’t know.”
“Its use is limited to practicing healing magic. Although it is shaped like a human, the materials used make it look very unhuman, so it cannot serve as a substitute. If you only needed a silhouette, there are many ways to achieve that, and using a Medical Doll for that purpose would be far too expensive.”

If you just want to project a human-shaped shadow onto a window or something, there are many ways to do it, and using a Medical Doll for that purpose alone would be outrageously cost-ineffective.

Safia replied with a beaming smile. While there may be a few healers capable of using Noble Healing in large cities, some smaller villages might not have even one.
Of course, the Healer’s Guild tries to make adjustments to prevent such situations, but the number of high-ranking healers is limited. Furthermore, lords are reluctant to part with skilled healers, so they primarily remain within their own territories. As a result, some small villages may only have S-rank healers available.
Safia was assigned to Feel, a territory directly governed by the Royal Family, from the Marquis Schalstein territory because she became a Healer Master. This was also due to the retirement of Feel’s former Healer Master, which the Marquis Schalstein could not prevent.
Another reason was that the Marquis Schalstein’s territory had the highest number of A-rank healers in Amister, with six, including Safia.
I thought the Hunter’s Guild had it tough, but the Healer’s Guild also seems quite challenging.
