I was relieved that I could capture them more easily than I expected.
“To defeat a Hunter’s Master so easily…”
“A-and an Ancient Human… Just who are you supposed to be…?”
Well, I guess I should introduce myself properly.
“I’m Primrose Hydrangea Mikami, a G-rank Hunter.”
“I’m Yamato Hydrangea Mikami. I’m an Ancient Human, and as I said, a P-rank Hunter. We recently registered in Feel, and that’s when things got complicated.”
“Of course things would get complicated when you antagonized the Guild Master… Wait, if you have the same last name, are you two married!?”
That’s what surprises you the most?
“Yes. We just got married the other day.”
“I see. Oh, I’m Ludia Highwind, a fire dragon Dragonewt.”
“I am Ludia’s twin sister, Lydian Highwind, an ice dragon Dragonewt. We are both B-rank Hunters at level 32.”
I see, twins.
They do look alike, and their hairstyles are tied to the sides, so I wouldn’t have been able to tell them apart if they hadn’t styled them symmetrically.
However, that’s under normal circumstances.
The elder sister, Lydia, wears her hair to the right side, while the younger sister, Ludia, wears hers to the left. Their hair colors are distinctly different.
Lydia’s is pale blue, and Ludia’s is pale red.
There’s no mistaking them with this.
And what’s with those drills?
I’ve never seen drill tails before.
Is that what they call a vertical roll?
“Are you two alright?”
“I’m fine!”
“I am too. However…”
Lydia’s gaze turned to the beast carriage.
The Orders, presumably their guards, were defeated, and the beast carriage was significantly damaged with broken wheels and scorched marks.
Some of the Orders were still breathing, but it was clear that nearly half of them had already perished.
“Do you by any chance know who is on this beast carriage?”
While casting healing magic on the surviving Orders, Prim asked Lydia.
She mentioned having a childhood friend in the royal family, but it’s unlikely she only knows one person.
This means whoever is in the beast carriage is likely someone Prim knows.
“Yes. We were hired in Valentia to escort them to Feel.”
“I see. May I ask who is aboard?”
“Yes. The person aboard is Her Highness Princess Yuriana Reina Amister, the Third Princess of the Amister Kingdom.”
The moment she heard the name, Prim swung open the beast carriage door with tremendous force.
“Yuri! Thank goodness, she seems to have just fainted!”
Though Prim’s voice was filled with relief, it confirmed they were acquaintances.
“Primrose, you know a princess from Amister?”
“Primrose-san is a High Foxy, so it’s not strange to know royalty… but she doesn’t seem to have that kind of relationship…”
Well, that’s true.
The Third Princess is probably Prim’s childhood friend.
As I peeked into the beast carriage, I saw a girl about 12 or 13 years old. She had blonde hair slightly longer than shoulder-length, tied up on both sides above her ears, a luxurious-looking tiara on her head, and she was wearing a gorgeous dress, practical yet adorned with decorations everywhere.
Yes, she was undeniably a princess.
I assumed she was an Elf, but her ears were slightly shorter than the Elves I knew, so she might be a Vampire.
Beside the girl, Prim looked on with a worried expression.
“She’s probably just unconscious. I think she’ll wake up soon… For now, wouldn’t it be alright to cast some healing magic on her?”
“Ah, Yamato… Right. Then, ‘Healing’.”
Healing, a recovery magic, is apparently the first recovery magic one learns among Bestowed Magic.
Bestowed Magic is given to people who have faith in the religions gathered at the Priests’ Guild from birth.
Besides healing magic, there’s summoning magic and spirit magic. The feather-attaching magic Prim often uses is also classified as Bestowed Magic.
Some Bestowed Magic is race-specific, such as the human transformation magic used by Dragonewts and Yokai Races, and the feather-attaching magic used by the Winged Tribe.
Guests can also use Bestowed Magic, and it can be confirmed at the Priests’ Guild.
I’ve also confirmed this, and the Bestowed Magic I can use are Telekinetic Magic, Mystic Eye Magic, and Enchantment Magic.
Telekinetic Magic is common among Humans, Dwarves, and Ogres, and in a word, it’s psychokinesis.
To be precise, it’s an arm created by magic power, but it has almost no power when used for attacks.
It’s primarily used in daily life to bring objects from a distance or to transport heavy items, and Craftkers and Traders find it very useful and use it frequently.
However, as an Ancient Human, I could crush a block of iron or defeat a Goblin or Glass Boa with a single blow, so it seems to be usable in combat without any problems.
Mystic Eye Magic uses magic power imbued in the eyes to produce various effects.
While it can’t turn an opponent into stone just by looking, depending on the magic power, it’s possible to burn or freeze them.
It also enables appraisal-type Guild Magic. These include the hunting magic Questing, the craft magic Measuring, the commerce magic Investing, the attendant magic Checking, the healing magic Examining, and the knight magic Scanning.
The reason I could determine that the princess was merely unconscious was because of the healing magic Examining, used for diagnosis, from my Mystic Eye Magic.
And then there’s Enchantment Magic, which, as the name suggests, imbues weapons, tools, and magic stones with magic.
While there is also Enchantment Magic in Craft Magic, the Bestowed Magic version allows for multiple enchantments, making it highly coveted by Crafters, as Ed told me.
Well, his Bestowed Magic also seems to be Enchantment Magic.
I have successfully engraved Martial Arts several times, and it seems that the assistance of this multi-ring Enchantment Magic has allowed them to succeed properly.
Surprisingly, these magics are listed on the magic list of the new magic “Stattering,” which I recently reported.
What surprised me the most was Mystic Eye Magic, and that’s why I’m making full use of Bestowed Magic.
I never thought I’d be able to use some Guild Magic without registering with the Guild.
Well, I don’t think I’ll have many opportunities to use Checking or Scanning.
From what I could see with Examining, this princess has no external injuries.
She probably just lost consciousness, perhaps from hitting her head.
She might also be mentally and physically exhausted due to being attacked.
That’s why Prim cast Healing on her, which should restore some of her stamina, and she’ll likely regain consciousness soon.
All that’s left is to let her rest.

Healing magic is Bestowed Magic, but anyone registered with the Healer’s Guild can use it, so I don’t think it’s that rare.
“Everyone else will be here soon, so let’s treat the Orders first. Prim, could you handle that? I’ll support you.”
“Yes, of course.”
Prim isn’t registered with the Healer’s Guild, so she can’t use Examining.
Therefore, if I use Examining and have Prim use healing magic, the Orders’ recovery should be faster.
Besides, if Lydia and Ludia help, the treatment might be faster.
“The Sub-Order’s Master is with us, but given the circumstances, they’ll likely have to undergo some questioning. Is that alright?”
“You mentioned that earlier. Why were you with such a person?”

While treating the Orders, Yamato and Prim explained the current situation in Feel and Prada Village to Lydia and Ludia. Their faces turned pale as they listened.
It’s natural for them to react that way.
“You two… have gotten involved in a serious incident…”
“All the Hunters in Feel were spies for Retisencia…”
“No wonder we haven’t received any information from Feel…”
It was as if both land and air routes were sealed.
Count Bismarck’s Wyvern would have also been targeted if the timing was right.
The fact that that didn’t happen meant Retisencia’s plan failed, and in a way, it might have been fate.

So that’s why they were escorting a princess from another country.
I was curious if there were any complaints from the Orders, but they knew the Orders escorting Princess Yuriana, so they were actually welcomed.
That Princess Yuriana is the younger sister of Prim’s childhood friend, and she is like a little sister to Prim.
Of course, she would worry.
It makes you realize how small the world is that I met these two through Princess Yuriana.
