This morning, I woke up in Marquis Frederica’s private room.
Yes, as you can imagine, we made love.
What’s more, we used a pregnancy-acceleration magic called Plasgneicing, so unlike Prim and the others, creating a child was the complete objective.
Elves are a race with small chests, so Marquis Frederica was smaller than Prim, as well as Meena and Flam.
However, her skin was so beautiful that I didn’t mind that at all.
Marquis Frederica is an elf with tanned skin, so she is also called a Dark Elf, but hundreds of years ago, a guest who appeared in the Helios Orb arbitrarily named elves with white skin Light Elves and those with tanned skin Dark Elves, and there’s no clear difference other than skin color.
Conversely, the names have stuck, and it’s terrifying how commonly they are used even among elves.
Yet, they say that upon evolving into High Elves, even Dark Elves reportedly gain clear white skin, so it’s a world that makes no sense at all.
“Oh, good morning, Marquis Frederica.”
“I’m sorry, did I wake you?”
“No, I’ve actually been awake for a little while.”
I made eye contact with Marquis Frederica, who was sleeping next to me.
She looked cute when she was embarrassed, but I had really been awake for about ten minutes.
By the way, Flam is on my right, Prim is next to Flam, and Meena is sleeping next to Marquis Frederica.
Prim is not a morning person, so she might still be asleep, but I have a feeling Meena and Flam are awake.
“What’s wrong, Marquis Frederica?”
As expected, Meena was awake.
“Oh, I was just thinking how happy I am.”
“I understand. You’ve finally become a woman, and above all, the Marquis’s premise is to bear a child, so your feelings are probably different from ours.”
That might be true.
Prim, Meena, and Flam use contraception magic called Contracepting to avoid getting pregnant, but Marquis Frederica is using Plasgneicing to get pregnant, and this is also the first time I’m making love with the premise of creating a child, so it feels different from usual.
“Is that so? Well, that makes sense. All three of you have just started your activities as Hunters, so having children will have to wait, won’t it? Does that mean the child I bear will be the eldest?”
“That would be the case. Even if I have children with everyone, it will be several years from now.”
“I… I personally wouldn’t mind if it was anytime…”
Meena said that with a voice so faint it seemed like she might disappear, but I think it’s better to continue Hunter activities for a while, as it’s not yet clear if she can become an Outsider Order.
Of course, it’s not an absolute certainty.
“By the way, Yamato, I have a favor to ask.”
“What is it?”
“I want you to treat me the same way you treat everyone else. It might be presumptuous since we’re not married, but I want to treat you as my husband. So, Yamato, I want you to treat me as your wife.”
Ah, I see.
I intend to marry her eventually, but that will be after the heir inherits the family, and even though I planned to visit occasionally after Marquis Frederica returned to her territory, I couldn’t decide if that was appropriate.
But since Marquis Frederica desires to marry me, she wants me to treat her not as a stranger but as one of my wives, right?
If that’s the case, I should grant her request.
“Understood. In that case, from now on, I will call you Rika, is that alright?”
“Eh? Rika…?”
“It’s because you’re Frederica, so Rika. However, it feels a bit odd to call someone older by their first name, so Rika-san. How about that?”
At first, I thought about calling her Freddy, but that’s a male name, and worse, a murderer’s name, so it’s absolutely impossible.
“No, I’m very happy. Of course, I don’t mind being called by my first name, but if that’s what you prefer, Yamato, then either is fine.”
I don’t have the courage to call someone older by their first name.
Flam?
She is indeed older, but I initially thought we were the same age, so calling her by name with an honorific now would be strangely difficult.
“Ah, of course, Meena and the others too. In terms of standing, you are all the same fiancées, but if we were married, I would be the junior.”
“Th-that’s impossible!”
Well, even if the Marquis told me I didn’t need to be polite, it would be difficult for Meena in the Order. It might be even harder for Flam, who was a villager. Prim, however, would probably be delighted.
“You don’t have to hold back. In that case, at least, will you all call me Rika too?”
“A-are you sure?”
“Yes. It will still be a while before I become your wife, but in spirit, I already am. Therefore, I want us to interact as equals.”
“I-if that’s the case… I look forward to working with you, Rika-sama.”
“Thank you, Meena. I look forward to it too.”
It seems the discussion has concluded. Flam looks like she’s about to turn green, but Prim knows she’s a former Duchess’s daughter and might adapt surprisingly quickly.
“Alright then, let’s wake Prim and Flam up, have breakfast, and get ready.”
“We’re departing at 10 o’clock, right?”
Yes, Prim and I are participating in the Alliance and heading to an Orc settlement in Mylight. We have confirmed the presence of an Orc King and an Orc Queen there, so even though there’s still time until the assembly, we don’t have the luxury of relaxing. We’re also planning to camp near our destination, and we’ve received the Beast Carriage that was completed yesterday. However, it’s too large for just the two of us to ride, and more importantly, I want all the Union members to experience it for the first time. So, we’ve decided to use it only for sleeping. Recently, I’ve had fewer opportunities to ride Hippogriffs Jade and Fluorite, with whom I have a familiar contract, and they seem a little sulky, so this might be a good opportunity.
In this Alliance, Jade and Fluorite will also participate in combat. Although they have evolved into rare species and their bodies have grown larger, they are still children, so I intend to avoid overworking them.
“We can only wait here, but please be careful.”
Flam is awake too.
“Ah, of course. Good morning, Flam.”
“Good morning, Yamato-san, Meena-san… and, um, Rika-sama.”
“Good morning. Thank you, Flam.”
She overheard our conversation, did she? Even so, she still seems hesitant.
“N-no… I was just wondering if someone like me is worthy of using such a title…”
As expected, she was thinking that. Like Meena, Flam also maintains a polite tone towards us, which I wish she would change.
“Don’t worry about that. Besides, H.R.H. Yuriana might join us, so if you’re like that with me, it will be tough going forward, won’t it?”
“Th-that’s true, but, um, I get nervous…”
I thought I was prepared for Princess Yuriana, though I don’t know yet how things will unfold.
“But you were the most passionate last night?”
That’s true. Yokai Races seem to have strong libidos, and Flam is always intense indeed. Not only Rika-san, who was experiencing it for the first time, but even Prim and Meena are often flustered in front of Flam.
She has currently dispelled her human transformation magic, but whether she dispels it or not is up to her. Human transformation magic involves magical alteration but doesn’t consume much magic power, so many people don’t dispel it even while sleeping. It’s not wrong to assume that once cast, it doesn’t dispel until the caster cancels it. Nevertheless, she sometimes feels constrained, so Flam often dispels it when she sleeps. She wants to relax at least when she’s sleeping.
“Now for Prim. Hey, wake up. If you don’t get up soon, I’ll leave you behind, you know?”
“Yamatooo…”
Still half-asleep, Prim clung to me. Naturally, she’s naked, and her large breasts are pressed against me, which is making things difficult even in the morning.
“Geez, there we go.”
“Kya! It’s… cold, but what on earth…? Ah, is it morning already?”
I created a small ice shard using ice magic and pressed it against Prim’s back. I wouldn’t normally do this, but we really can’t afford to take our time today.
“Yes, it is. Did you sleep well?”
“Deeply, of course. Ah, good morning, everyone.”
“Good morning.”
“Good morning, Prim-san.”
“Good morning, Primrose. Since everyone is up, shall we have breakfast? Oh, or would a bath be better first?”
“I’d appreciate that if possible, but won’t it be a lot of trouble to prepare?”
I agree. I know because I used it last night. The bath at the Marquis Amatista’s mansion involves filling a large tub with water and then using magic tools to heat it. It reportedly takes one to two hours just to prepare, so they usually decide on specific days and times for bathing.
“Myun said she’d prepare it before we entered the room, so I think it’s fine.”
Thinking that, it’s already prepared. She’s quite thorough, isn’t she, Myun-san? Oh, right, I need to greet Rika-san’s mother too, don’t I?
“What’s wrong, Yamato?”
“No, I just remembered I haven’t greeted Rika-san’s mother…”
Even though we intend to marry eventually, Rika is the head of the Marquis family. Her mother surely understands the need for an heir, but she probably wouldn’t be pleased with a man of unknown origin fathering a child and then marrying her.
“It’s alright. Besides, all the other candidates for my partner were less reliable than Yamato.”
Whether I’m reliable or not is another matter, but she had to choose between marriage and single motherhood in the near future, so it’s natural she would have candidates.
“I agree with that. More importantly, Rika-san?”
Although she still seems a bit groggy, Prim must not have heard that part of the conversation because she was asleep when we discussed it.
“It’s how you should address Marquis Frederica. Although marriage is far in the future, you will be the same kind of fiancée as Meena and Flam, won’t you? So, I want you to call me in a way that isn’t so formal, like everyone else does.”
“I see, it’s because she’s Frederica, so Rika. That’s a cute name.”
“Thank you. It might be presumptuous, but may I call you Prim-san too?”
“Of course. It’s nice to meet you, Rika-san.”
Prim, being a former Duchess’s daughter, is adapting quickly. I didn’t really have the impression that she used formal language with Rika-san to begin with, but it might also be because Apricot is staying here.
More importantly, when should I plan to greet Rika-san’s mother?
The Marquisate of Amatista is just north of the Royal Capital, south of Duke Turkis’s territory where Emosion is located, and Count Sofia’s territory of Turumarina. Since we are heading to the Royal Capital after the Alliance ends, it will be after that. The journey by land is said to take a week, so including the stay, I need to allocate about 20 days for the round trip.
“Does that mean you will contact your mother after this?”
“Yes. I can’t exactly hide the fact that my partner is an Ancient Human either.”
Naturally, an Ancient Human would be considered a better match for a noble than someone of unknown origin. After all, there are three Ancient Classes, but Prim is the same gender as Rika, and the Grand Hunter’s Master is too old to have children. Ah, come to think of it, the story about many nobles being interested in me makes sense now. I’m really fed up with this.
“Also, it’s fine for us since we’re staying at the same inn, but it won’t be the same for you, Rika-san, so you’ll likely need to come here every few days.”
And I, carelessly, had forgotten the fact that women in the Helios Orb rarely get pregnant. Rika-san is being made love to with the intention of having a child with me. Therefore, naturally, the act must continue until she becomes pregnant. Using Plasgneicing, she usually conceives within one to two months on average, but that’s just an average, and it’s not unheard of for people not to conceive. So, it means I will need to be with Rika-san for at least one month, and at most three months.
Therefore, it will either be to move our base to Rika-san’s mansion or have Rika-san come to the Magic Silver Inn. Either way, I can’t decide immediately. For now, I’ve decided to stay at Rika-san’s mansion every three days and continue to stay at the Magic Silver Inn as before. Even if I make Rika-san’s mansion our base, I intend to leave as soon as pregnancy is confirmed, so until then, I might have to commute or buy a house.
