We were fortunate that the Safe Area near where we encountered the Makronaria herd was the entrance to the 7th Level.
So, we descended to the 7th Level and decided to make camp there.
No hunters come this far down, and we were all exhausted. Plus, fighting the Makronaria had us all a bit hyped up, so we all got to have a good time all night.
With Eos and even Lady Apricot joining in, Yamato must have had a tough time.
But everyone leveled up from yesterday’s battle, and Mina, Flam, and Rebecca even evolved, so it was understandable that we were all worked up.

“I couldn’t tell last night because it was dark, but wow, this place is amazing.”

While eating breakfast, Ed and Fiana were surprised, but the 7th Level was, as the prior information stated, a level of a giant lake with several islands floating on it. Even from here, we could see that some islands were volcanoes and others were snow-capped mountains, so it was indeed amazing.
“They said the 3rd Level was the widest, but that’s probably because the 7th Level is mostly unknown territory.”
“Indeed. It’s likely that this 7th Level is the widest level in the Solpreza Labyrinth.”
This is Yamato and Lydia’s theory, and I agree.
There was only one party that confirmed the 7th Level, and that party also confirmed the Guardian’s Chamber. Other than that, no hunters had descended to the 7th Level, so for a long time, the 7th Level was only recognized as the level of a lake and islands.
While it was known that the environments differed between islands, no one expected it to be this vast.
“If we were to explore this normally, how many days would it take?”
“One or two days won’t be enough. There are bridges connecting the islands, so we can travel between them, but monsters inhabiting the lake can attack, so we need to be constantly vigilant.”
We’ll be hunting on this 7th Level today and tomorrow, but I don’t know how much we’ll be able to cover.
However, as Flam said, it’s impossible to cover everything in just two days because it’s so vast.
The bridges that connect the islands are wide enough that we can cross them in about 30 minutes by Beast Carriage, and as expected of a lake level, there are monsters within the lake.
Bridges are wide, and it’s said that monsters living underwater have their Monster Rank reduced by one if they are brought onto land, so we can fight on the bridges, but it certainly requires caution.
“But the Guardian’s Chamber is beyond three islands, right?”
“That’s what they say. So today, we’re aiming for the Guardian’s Chamber first.”
Yamato is informing Lady Apricot of the day’s plan. It’s true that since our main objective is to conquer the labyrinth, we need to confirm the Guardian’s Chamber, and it’s said to be adjacent to a Safe Area, making it an ideal base.
“All right then, shall we get going?”
“Let’s. This island seems like a normal island with forests, but the next island is all sand, so it will take time to travel.”
Prim and Ludia said so and prepared to depart. It’s true that the next island is troublesome.
The island we are on now has ordinary grasslands, forests, and small hills. The Safe Area connected to the 6th Level is at the summit of a small hill.
So, we can get a good view of the level’s layout. The island connected to this one by a bridge is covered entirely in sand, which reminds me of the 3rd Level.
Furthermore, the island after that looks like a volcano, so the troubles continue.
“There will likely be Earth Attribute Dragoon on the sand island, and Fire Attribute Dragoon on the volcanic island, so it might be good to explore a bit.”

Yamato and Prim are saying that, but Earth Attribute Dragoon can be used by Mina, Lydia, Athena, and Ed, and Fire Attribute Dragoon can be used by Prim, Mina, Ludia, and Yuria, so securing materials has a high priority for us.
Mina has an affinity for the Earth attribute, and with her evolution into a High Human, she has also developed an affinity for the Fire attribute. So, it looks like we’ll mainly use the hide of Earth Attribute Dragoon and supplement it with the hide of Fire Attribute Dragoon.
Water Attribute Dragoon that attack while crossing bridges or walking along the lakeshore can be used by Yamato, Yuri, Flam, Marina, and Rebecca. Lady Apricot also has an affinity for the Water attribute, so we want those too.
As for Ice Attribute, we hunted Ice Dragoon on the 6th Level, so we’re good. That leaves the four attributes: Wind, Thunder, Light, and Dark. We’ll just have to find islands that seem suitable for them.
As for wind and thunder, I have no idea where Light and Darkness Dragoon live.

“It is. But we’ll figure it out if we explore, won’t we?”
“We will. However, when it comes to Dragoon, or rather, M-rank monsters, even with our evolutions, we won’t be much of a fighting force.”
“That’s right. Should Yamato-san and Prim-san be the main fighters, and we support them?”
Yamato and Prim, who overheard my muttering, are also saying they don’t know where Light and Dark Attribute Dragoon live, but they also say we can find them by actively searching.
Mina and Flam seem to agree. At the same time, they intend to let Yamato and Prim engage in direct combat while they provide support.
Mina and Flam have evolved into High Class monsters from yesterday’s battle, but even so, dealing with M-rank monsters is still difficult.
With their weapons made of Lapis Laz, they can handle up to P-rank monsters, and they have indeed managed to, but M-rank monsters are literally a rank above, with vastly superior attack power, defense, and even magical power.
Therefore, it’s difficult for us to fight them head-on, so it’s natural that Yamato and Prim, who can defeat even M-rank monsters like ordinary monsters, will take the lead. However, this could lead to problems again.
But we’ve anticipated this, and we don’t think we can hide it forever, so we have to be prepared.

This time, Honest, Lady Apricot’s familiar, will be pulling the Beast Carriage.
Yamato’s Jade and Prim’s Fluorite can be main combatants, so we can’t have them pull the Beast Carriage.
My Spica and Mina’s Breeze cannot pull the Beast Carriage alone, and Spica has evolved into a War Horse, so having her pull the carriage would reduce my combat strength.
Breeze hasn’t evolved yet, but she can’t pull the Beast Carriage by herself, so by elimination, we have no choice but to have Honest pull it.
Honest is a timid child, but he’s attached to Lady Apricot, as well as Yamato and Prim. If they are around, he can manage even if caught off guard, so Honest is doing his best.
As Lady Apricot gave the command, Honest gave a cry and slowly began to pull the Beast Carriage.
The exploration of the lowest level of the Solpreza Labyrinth is finally beginning.
Of course, we will hunt Dragoon, but there are other M-rank monsters here besides Dragoon. I’m scared, but also looking forward to what else might be here.
I’m relying heavily on Yamato and Prim, but eventually, I want to be able to handle things myself too.
