The evening of the day after we arrived in Float, the Order reported that Her Majesty Queen Torencia and her entourage had arrived.
I had been looking forward to this day, as I had to escape from Valentia.
Of course, I was happy to be reunited with Mana, but it’s been three years since I last saw Sister Hilde, so I’m truly happy.
However, in those three years, both Mana and I have greatly changed our positions.
I, who was supposed to inherit the Duke’s title, became a mere hunter. Mana, while holding the position of princess, has renounced her succession rights.
Furthermore, we are both married to the same man, so I’m both looking forward to and dreading seeing how Sister Hilde will react.
Of course, it’s not just Mana and I who have changed, but everyone in the Union.

Yamato and I haven’t changed much, but Yamato prioritized his activities as a crafter and training for Orders.
Mana’s level has increased, but she hasn’t evolved into an Ancient Elf yet. However, given how far she’s come, it’s only a matter of time before she evolves, including her sister Yuria. Lidia, Ludia, and Eos as well.
Flam is prioritizing crafter activities and has been promoted to S-rank crafter like Yamato, but she hasn’t quit being a hunter.
Ed, Marina, and Fiana have been busy with their crafter work for the past few days.
Yamato, Mana, Athena, Eos, Yuria, Fiana, and Reina’s Crest Defender Coats are complete, but we still need to make over ten more, so we plan to focus on leveling up once that’s done.
My Crest Defender Coat is similar to the Crest Armor Coat, but with subtle minor changes. For the women, the chest area is open. Yamato’s Crest Defender Coat has been modified so that the armor is worn under the coat, giving it the appearance of a coat with slightly larger pauldrons. Athena’s coat has armor similar to Yamato’s Crest Armor Coat. Eos and Yuria’s designs are such that they wouldn’t look out of place on a butler, with the armor worn underneath the coat. Fiana and Reina’s coats are almost identical to Fina’s, but they are tailored slightly larger to accommodate their growth.
Fina is busy with the Beast Carriage, but the new prototype body and chassis are complete, and she’s now focusing on the hull. We were able to ride in a 20-meter class prototype Magic Silver ship that’s already finished. It was a ship that could withstand practical use, and being made of Magic Silver, it was more durable than wooden ships.
For her development of metal ships and the presentation of Locking, Fina has been promoted to P-G rank crafter, like Ed.
Raus, Rebecca, and Carol chose to gain experience rather than level up, especially since Carol has successfully evolved into a High Elf. So, the three of them are currently taking requests in Feel while waiting. With two G-rank hunters and one S-rank hunter, and considering they are Yamato and my disciples with skills beyond their levels, they should be able to handle anything unless they encounter truly formidable monsters.
Fina’s younger sisters, Fiana and Reina, have also been promoted to C-rank crafters, though they are a bit behind Yamato and Flam. I’m surprised because they were single-digit levels when we first met, but Fina happily told me that their increased magic power due to leveling up has improved their work efficiency.
“Speaking of Raus, has he decided on a family name yet?”
“Yes. We’re struggling to come up with a good one.”
Brother Rai and Yamato are discussing Raus’s name, but I apologize, I had forgotten. Raus is now eligible to use a family name after being promoted to G-rank hunter. Rebecca is in the same situation, but she plans to take a family name after she marries Raus, as they will be married. However, Raus is also to marry the noble Carol, so he can’t just pick a casual family name.

“I don’t think it’s bad, but doesn’t that family name sound like it belongs to nobles in Amister?”
“Yes. Ideally, I’d like Raus to become a G-rank Order as well, but he’s still too young and has been advised by Tolman and Count Donato to wait a few years.”
Ah, I see. It’s true that Raus is only 14, but he’s already evolved into a High Ulfy and is a Lv. 57 G-rank hunter. Although he hasn’t achieved any specific merits, he is Yamato’s disciple, and I believe that with experience, he could achieve solo subjugation up to the G-I rank. Amister would lose out by not keeping him.
“That’s why you intend to grant him a family name first. While Carol is his fiancée, I’ve heard that other countries are also paying attention, so it might be best to at least do that.”
Indeed, Yuria is right. Valentia, in particular, has seen its eastern nobles greatly weakened due to Narlstadt’s execution. Therefore, many families seem eager to have Raus join them. I heard this rumor when I went to register the Solpreza Labyrinth with a Gate Crystal. They actually want Yamato, but Yamato is an O-rank Order of Amister and is married or engaged to Mana, Yuria, and Rika, so they can’t do anything about it. That’s why they’re targeting Raus. However, the eastern nobles who sided with Narlstadt and complained to us are not even worth considering from the start.
Libertà is also a problem.
It’s a country with many traders due to the headquarters of the Trader’s Guild, but it has no king. Instead, a general chosen from the populace leads the country, enacting policies that reflect the will of the people. While chosen from the populace, they are always selected from nobles or influential traders. The term for the general is five years, but elections are held on average every three years, causing the country’s intentions and actions to change each time, making it difficult to determine whether they are friend or foe. Diplomacy is entirely handled by the Grand Duke’s family, but even they cannot ignore the general’s intentions.
“I heard that Prada Village borders a small forest. Furthermore, the neighboring Mylight is rich in mineral resources, so I thought about it from there.”
“That’s good.”
“Yes. But my brother thought of it, and if you’re also considering registration as a G-rank Order, wouldn’t it be better to grant it?”
“It would be troublesome. But considering he’s only 14, any reason can be made to fit.”
That’s true. While there are people who have evolved into High Class at 14, none have exceeded level 50, so I think it’s a valid reason. Raus will probably be shocked. But he can also register as an Order, so it’s not a bad deal for Raus. I’ll have to tell him about it, along with everything else, when we return to Alka.
