Yamato and Ed pushed the completed Twin Swords and Crest Defender Coat onto me.
It’s true that these are for Ciel, the new member of Wing Crest and my fiancée. But they didn’t have to go and force them on me without a second thought.
Well, I *should* be the one to give them to her, though.
On the morning of the meeting, after meeting up with Rex, Rosemary, Muse, and Feel at the entrance, we headed to Float on Yamato’s Traveling.
The meeting starts at noon, but there are preparations and discussions to be done. Not only for Ciel, but also for her older sister, Ciel, whom we’re making a Celestial Globe for. More importantly, we have to complete Ciel’s Wing Crest registration.
We’re supposed to participate in the meeting too, but while it’s understandable for Ancient Class members like Yamato, I don’t think we’re necessary.
As I was thinking about such things, we arrived at Amagi Castle before I knew it and were led to the garden. After a while, Emperor Reinhardt, H.R.H. Elis, H.R.H. Maruca, Ciel, and Ciel also arrived.
“I apologize for calling you so early.”
“It can’t be helped. If Solemn doesn’t govern properly, it will give Abaricia an opening, destabilizing not only the Philia Continent but the entire Helios Orb situation.”
I don’t fully understand the circumstances, but I do know that Solemn obtained steam battleship blueprints from Abaricia and was mass-producing them.
However, it seems Abaricia intentionally gave those blueprints to Solemn’s spies, intending to destroy Solemn along with their steam battleships once they unified the Philia Continent, thereby gaining control of the Helios Orb.
Is that evidence, perhaps?
Solemn’s steam battleships are made of iron, but it’s estimated that Abaricia’s, including its cannonballs, are made of Divine Metal. And we should assume that the Hydro-Engine developed by Yamato has been put to practical use, as he said.
Iron steam battleships can be sunk by High Class adventurers, and I’ve sunk one offshore of Esperanza myself. But against Divine Metal steam battleships, even Ancient Class adventurers won’t have an easy time of it.
“If they could acquire Divine Metal in the Philia Continent, it would be another matter.”
“That’s true. But we have alloys of Jade Silver, Blue-Gray Iron, and Lapis Laz, so we should be able to counter Divine Metal.”
As H.R.H. Elis said, the three alloys Yamato proposed and Ed completed—Jade Silver, Blue-Gray Iron, and Lapis Laz—have performance comparable to Divine Metal.
Jade Silver and Blue-Gray Iron are slightly inferior, but Lapis Laz has almost the same performance. So, even against Abaricia, which possesses Divine Metal weapons, we won’t be unilaterally defeated.
However, Lapis Laz is only used by a select few outside of us, so that’s something we need to consider.
“I’ll think about Lapis Laz another time. We’ve only just started distributing Jade Silver and Blue-Gray Iron.”
“And Lapis Laz is light, so it might be a bit difficult for those using Adamantine Steel or Blue-Gray Iron.”
Lapis Laz is about as heavy as Magic Silver, and Divine Metal is about as heavy as iron. So it’s easy for those using Magic Silver or Jade Silver. Blue-Gray Iron is only slightly lighter than Adamantine Steel, so it can be difficult for those using it.
I wonder if they could create a heavier Lapis Laz by researching the ratios, but Yamato and Emperor Reinhardt are planning to consider that only after Jade Silver and Blue-Gray Iron become more widespread.
It seems unavoidable, as there’s a possibility that the demand for Jade Silver might disappear, though that’s less of a concern for Blue-Gray Iron.

That tributary state of Abaricia, the Retysentia Empire, located north of Amister, had been plotting to seize our base in Feel using Demon Crystals, a magic item brought by Abaricia.
It was resolved safely because Yamato and Prim came to Feel, but I have no idea what would have happened otherwise.
Furthermore, even Demise Species Orc Emperors and Orc Empresses were born, so if things had gone poorly, there was a real possibility that not just Feel, but Amister itself could have been annihilated.
The princess and ambassador of Retysentia have also been executed, so it’s a situation where war with Retysentia could break out at any moment.
“The Guild has withdrawn, and the Trader’s Guild has also scaled down. While they can gather soldiers, they cannot secure provisions, so they seem to be having trouble. The Imperial King is pressuring the Trader’s Guild, but I hear that Retisencia’s Head Trader’s Master is refusing.”

If Retisencia were to attack, it would be from the north, and the battlefield would be north of a town called Polar. However, Trial Hearts, led by the Ancient Ulfy Baut, are stationed in Polar, so I don’t think their forces could even capture Polar.

These are said to have been developed by Abaricia. They cause monsters to evolve into Anomoly Species or Catastrophe Species, and humans to transform into Demon Race.
Furthermore, when humans transform into Demon Race, their Magic Power rivals that of High Class adventurers, and High Class adventurers’ Magic Power rivals that of Ancient Class adventurers.
Even High Class adventurers can handle them, but it’s said to be quite difficult.
“The question is whether Abaricia will provide them, isn’t it?”
“We also don’t know how long it will take to reach the Gradia Continent.”
“Solemn seems to have been conducting intelligence activities on the Gradia Continent, so we should thoroughly gather information.”

Even if we don’t know if it’s possible, being unwary would be suicidal.

Speaking of which, they said they’re thinking of imbuing Flame’s magic eye magic into Reina’s Celestial Globe, Griffis Light Star, next time.
Griffis Light Star uses a Gryphon’s magic stone and its appearance resembles a Gryphon.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to try to use magic eye magic from the Gryphon’s eyes?
Magic eye magic can also be used for appraisal-type Guild Magic, but Yamato, Flame, and Mako are thinking of things like paralysis or shockwaves.
It certainly sounds interesting and easy to use, but I don’t know what would happen if they imbued an Ancient Class’s magic eye magic.
But Reina seems keen on it, so she’ll probably modify it once she returns to Alka.
