I also wrote about this in my Activity Report, but I mistakenly uploaded the same content around 4 PM today.
Since the content is the same, please update the one with the link.
After finishing the explanation to Silvia, I checked the current situation on the management screen to find that the Tower LV had become 5.
It had taken quite some time to level up to LV4, but I hadn’t been able to earn much experience because I couldn’t meet the conditions.
When I checked what had been added after the Tower LV became 5, I found several significant changes.
First, there were the various summoning circles.
I could now set up Intermediate-level monster summoning circles.
Even though they are Intermediate-level, they are on the lower end of that category, but unlike Lower-level monsters, they seem to be able to earn points quite efficiently.
For example, this one.
Name: Nerousagi Summoning Array
Rank: Monster Rank C
Setup Cost: 2500 Divine Power, or 700,000 combined Holy Power and Magic Power.
Description: Summons up to 500 Nerousagi randomly. Earning approximately 5000 Divine Power when 500 are subjugated.
The obtainable points are higher compared to lower-ranked monsters.
It needs verification, but since the number of summons is unlikely to fall below 250, it would be best to set them up as much as possible.
However, having Kouhi or Mitsuki subjugate them would be a waste of time.
Therefore, I want to try setting them up in areas where the wolves and foxes, which have already grown too strong for the spontaneously appearing monsters of the surroundings, are.
There might be some casualties, but I’ll have to accept that.
For now, I’ll put off the verification and check the other installations.
As for other installations, several new ones that generate Divine Power, like the World Tree and Vermilia Castle, had been added.
Naturally, they wouldn’t generate as much Divine Power as those two, but their setup costs are also lower.
They range from approximately 100,000 to 200,000 pt.
Since the setup cost is considerable, I can’t just set them up haphazardly, but it would be good to eventually set them up if I have enough points.
The next major change is the setting of seasons for each floor.
This now allows me to make it snow on each floor or set up rainy and dry seasons.
The explanation that appeared after I was able to make this setting stated that the current seasons on each floor are the same as those around the tower.
This can now be set on a per-floor basis.
Since there are a hundred floors, I want to create many things, but it requires a large amount of points, so it will likely be some time before I can set them freely.
Finally, the maximum points that can be stored in Holy Power and Magic Power crystals have increased to 1 million pt.
It remains to be verified whether this can be stored to its maximum value in a day, as it was before.
While I was checking the management menu, Shurein arrived at the management room accompanied by Nana and Wanri.
“You were here.”
“…Hm? What’s up?”
“Indeed. Nana and Wanri are saying that they want more companions?”
“…What?”
“They seem to understand to some extent what you are doing. If you can summon them, they are saying that they are fine with increasing the number of wolf and fox companions.”
“No, no, wait a minute… When you say ‘they are saying,’ Shurein, can you talk to these two?!”
“Yes. It’s not like normal conversations, but a certain degree of mutual understanding is possible.”
Kousuke was dumbfounded by the simple affirmation.
“…Amazing, isn’t it?”
“Is it? Well, I also noticed it a short while ago. These two seem to be able to communicate with spirits, and I was able to talk to them through spirits.”
“With spirits…? …I see.”
Kousuke couldn’t converse with spirits.
Shurein stated that he can communicate with spirits, so they had a conversation with spirits acting as intermediaries.
“…Hm? In that case, can elves also talk?”
“I don’t know if all elves can communicate with spirits, but they probably can?”
Upon Shurein’s reply, Kousuke headed towards Colette.
Colette had returned from the 73rd Floor with Kouhi earlier.
Perhaps it was because she saw the World Tree that existed within the tower, but she seemed somewhat sooty. After a while, she seemed to have recovered, and was exchanging what seemed like complaints (?) with Silvia.
Seeing Kousuke enter the living room, Colette’s expression became flustered.
“…Hm? What’s wrong?”
“N-N-Nothing! Uh, what about you?”
As Kousuke came straight to her, Colette looked inexplicably flustered.
Kouhi, Mitsuki, and Silvia, who were nearby, all had smirking expressions.
Kousuke tilted his head at their expressions, but he wanted to ask about the spirits first, so he prioritized that.
“Colette, can you talk to spirits?”
“…What, suddenly? Well, I am an elf, so I can communicate to some extent.”
“Then, can you talk to Nana and Wanri?”
“…Huh? What are you saying? That’s impossible, of course.”
As Colette said this with a look of exasperation, Shurein offered a helping hand.
“These two can communicate with spirits, but it’s impossible with you?”
“Eh…!? No way! Wait a minute.”
At Shurein’s words, Colette hurriedly confirmed.
“…Um. …Wow, I can. …Huh? …Yes, yes, it is.”
As Colette looked at Nana and Wanri, occasionally nodding, Shurein showed an impressed expression.
“As expected of an elf. You seem to be able to communicate more clearly than I can.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
The conversation between Colette and Nana & Wanri seemed to be going well, and the reactions of the two were particularly happy.
You could tell from Nana’s constantly wagging tail.
The situation continued for a while, but eventually, it calmed down.
Kousuke called out to Colette, deciding it was probably time.
“…How was it?”
“These two are amazing. I explained about the floors they are on and about summoning, and their initial understanding was incomplete, but they understood properly after I explained.”
“Isn’t that… amazing?”
“Yes. At least, I’ve never heard of a monster that can do such a thing.”
Colette asked left and right with a look of exasperation.
Kousuke replied with a bitter smile and asked the two a question.
Since the words were understood with
“I heard from Shurein that it’s okay to increase their numbers?”
“Woof woof.”
When I looked at Colette, she was nodding.
“Do you know how many you should increase them by?”
“…For now, it’s okay to double them. Wanri says it’s okay to increase them to about the same number as the wolves.”
“I see. …This is convenient.”
It’s much more efficient than doing it by trial and error.
While observing the situation, I might be able to leave the management of their numbers to Nana and the others.
“Ah, right. Can you ask them if it’s okay to place Intermediate monsters?”
“Intermediate? You’re asking for something absurd again. What kind of monster?”
“For now, something like Nerousagi.”
“…They say they won’t know until they hunt them.”
“Well, that’s true. Then for now, I’ll set up just one a little way from the base and see how it goes.”
“…They say they understand.”
Nana and Wanri, happy to be able to converse with Kousuke, pressed against him.
Kousuke responded by stroking them.
“Also, they say they want to return to the base for a while.”
“Hm? Why?”
“They want to see if they can properly deal with Intermediate monsters.”
“I see. Alright. Then let’s go now.”
As Kousuke said this, before Colette could reply, the two started barking.
Seeing this, Kousuke immediately returned to the management room and set up one
Tomorrow, there will be two updates at 1 PM and 8 PM.
