“Derus-kun, Derus-kun!”
“Yes, Anju-chan, what is it?”
“This bath is nice too~” “It’s small now, though.”
It seems we’ve arrived at the owner’s room in Great Tree Building No. 2.
This is the best Special Room, but compared to Building No. 1, Amatatsu-san who is Level 5, Morita-san is only Level 3… No, I shouldn’t compare them. We need to train them up too.
“I’m going to write in my diary~”
“Eh, you write that kind of thing?!”
“I heard at school that it’s good to do these things even after graduating~”
The act of continuing to write itself feels like continued learning. I can understand the meaning and intent behind what the school is trying to make them do, but there’s no need to mention it here.
(I should reflect on today with them too.)
We rushed to the Great Dragon Arena in Samin Country in the morning due to the Golem attack. We pushed them back to the very brink, just one step, one more step away… but then they escaped with something called “Three-Body Fusion.” The flying penguins are also getting stronger and multiplying.
(I wonder whose ability that was, in the end.)
Well, since the Golems themselves are merging, it’s probably a Golem ability. Still, Yukkarine, or whatever her name is, who’s inside… I wonder if she’s fallen into being a wicked Summoner. I want to know why.
(I don’t have enough information for that.)
If Natsu-nee were here, I could ask her a few more things and then use that information to get a guess from our ‘wicked acquaintance.’ Like Korome’s Amatatsu-san, or Morita-san here, who is Mikitsuba and Anyuri…
(Let’s see, can I call them now if I wanted to?)
“Um, Anju-chan.”
“What?”
“…Your handwriting is, well, you should try a little harder.”
But her writing speed is fast. Or is it that her handwriting is like this precisely because she’s fast?
“As long as I can read it, it’s fine!”
“Ah, that’s right, it’s a diary. If you’re not planning to sell it, then that’s fine.”
“If something good happens, I’ll draw a flower~”
Actually, that’s not what I wanted to ask…
“You can call them right now if you want, can’t you, Morita-san?”
“If you have the time~” “Then just for a bit.”
“Alright alright… Come out, Morita-san~!”
…Huh, they’re not coming out? Just as I was wondering, they slowly popped out…
“Yes, what is it?”
“Huh? Is it just Anyuri, the Saint?”
“Yes, Mikitsuba is currently in a meeting with Nina-sama and Jave-sama.”
Then it would be bad to interrupt.
“I just wanted to test if I could call you, so, um…”
“Hey, hey, Morita-san~” “Yes, Ange-sama.”
“Is Boss and Jave-san, just the two of them?!”
What, a NTR development?!
“Besides them, Kaumi-sama was here, and Clarice-sama was here for a while, and then Helen-sama came.”
“Oh, really? Were Boss and Jave-san flirting?”
“No, there was no such vibe.” “I knew it, Derus-kun~”
…Phew, that’s a relief. That happened before on this Mermaid Island too, like when I worried unnecessarily that Clarice-san would be taken by that old Illusionist.
(Is there something about this island that makes me feel that way?!)
No, there probably isn’t.
“Morita-san, please go back now.”
“Yes, shall I tell them that Derus-sama was ‘jealous that Nina-sama and Jave-sama were together’?”
“Ehhhh~” “Okay~” “Yes, Ange-sama, then.”
They swiftly sank into the floor.
(…I’m scared of what happens next. I should wear a maid outfit tomorrow morning.)
Do they have those prepared here too?
“Ah, sorry Anju-chan, please continue writing your diary.”
“Okay okay~”
Let’s get back to my thoughts. Anyway, we were just one step away from defeating Sheer. For that, we need to make the Bards a little stronger.
(That’s why I came here this afternoon.)
It’s better not to fix our hunting grounds too much. While checking on Building No. 2, we came to Mermaid Island, and I was surprised to find it quite beat up.
(Was Morita-san alone? They must have been lonely.)
I heard that they periodically check on them individually, but it seems Jave, the Prison Warden of the Empire, was managing it. We need to level this place up quickly and connect it to the prison itself.
(And to guard Morita-san, and to prepare monsters to be thrown in and not to be thrown in…)
First, I thought about having dragons guard from above. I considered bringing the dragons living with Amatatsu-san in Building No. 1, but the Tamer Dragons said they all liked it here. So, the idea was to use the dragons we left on the floating island. That’s why, for now, on the rooftop of this Building No. 2, we’ve housed twelve of them. They seem to be happy because they’re getting priority with the fruits. They’re taking turns watching, ready to deal with Alligator-Lamians if they come.
(Because they’re intelligent, training them in that regard was easy!)
There are also a few Prison soldiers stationed here, and some of them are Tamers too. We’ve already de-petrified those people. We still need to heal the ones with missing heads, which we’ll have to do with the Golden Tree.
(Oh, and on the floating island, we also tamed Tim the High Kelpie.)
We obtained the Kelpie with Ric-nee-chan and the others during the Milishitan Continent era. It turned out that one of the three heads, Cupid, was ‘not interested in females.’ So, we tamed four female High Kelpies, who were tomboyish like males, and brought them here.
(And the result of releasing them into Cupid’s nest…)
Yes, I know that chirp from Cupid, surrounded and swamped, was a ‘scream of joy!’ Those who experienced it say so. I had worried that the High Kelpies might only be interested in females, but it was a groundless fear.
(They were truly like Nina-san and Helen-san in the Kelpie world.)
After dinner, as a form of post-meal exercise, we flew to the Shamanias Continent and went Golem hunting again from the secret base in the Nochiruku Highlands Mountain Range. Attacking with the tamed Crystal Golems and Sexy Diamond Golems made it easy to deal damage, and of course, we tamed them too.
(So, we threw eight Crystal Golems in here!)
This should make guarding the surface easier. From now on, even when we’re not around, we shouldn’t be bitten by Alligator-Lamians…
Bang bang bang! Bang bang bang!
“Wh-what is it?”
“Derus, it’s me, open up!”
Nina-san is here!
“Hey Boss.”
Anju-chan quickly opened the door, and Nina-san came straight towards me… *cough cough cough*!!!
“…Phew, that’s all.”
Then she left… but came back?!
“I’m having my meeting with Jave in the living room. You haven’t let me into *my* room. If you get any more jealous, I’ll make it so you can never leave my side again. That’s all!!”
…Anju-chan quietly closed the door. It seems I interrupted Nina-san. I should apologize later… And Anju-chan resumes writing her diary as if nothing happened.
(Now, let’s see… I was recalling taming the Golems.)
And then, oh right, Mariu-san! He’s going to concentrate on processing the Giant Magic Stones, so he’ll be holed up in the workshop of Building No. 1 for a while. But he said to call him anytime if I need him.
(HOWEVER, he said to call him by coming to get him myself!!)
He did mention creating instruments for the Bards, didn’t he? Perhaps a ridiculously large drum? Or… I wonder what he’ll make. So, we decided to stay overnight at Building No. 2, since we brought the tamed Dragons and Golems.
(The Empire will arrange the personnel to upgrade them to Level 4 and Level 5!)
More importantly, setting up the dungeon seems troublesome. Apparently, they want to incorporate the existing dungeon on Mermaid Island. They’re talking about the conditions and methods for that, and even about the subsequent plan to create a Mermaid Race village…
(The meeting Nina-san is in is probably about that.)
Well, I promised Nina-san I’d leave the difficult stuff to her. By asking Nina-san to do everything and taking it easy, I ended up as a cross-dressing maid as a comfort woman… No, that’s not it!!
“Finished—!!”
“Ah, Anju-chan, you’re done.”
“Yeah, I’m going to sleep now~”
And the diary Anju-chan made… was full of swirly characters, as usual.
“Then, um…”
“Derus-kun, let’s sleep together before sleeping~”
“Ah, yes, well then, we’re going to do what we have to do, right?” “But before that! A Special Guest!”
And who was summoned was…!
“Eh, MAINA-san?!”
“Yo yo, check it out.”
“You’re dressed quite casually. What’s up?”
Ah, Anju-chan’s face turned red, and she looked down!
“I’m here to observe… no, to experience…”
“Eh, experience what?”
“MAINA-cchi and Derus-kun and me… in bed!!”
(Whaaaaaat?!)
What a Special Guest this is!
