**Chapter: Loli’s Gift**
Inside Xi Wei’s room, the little maid bit her lips, unable to speak, her eyes misty as if about to melt away.
“How interesting!” Xi Wei’s face revealed an intrigued smile as he suddenly thought of how to punish Loli.
He wrapped one arm tightly around the little maid’s waist, his palm pressed against her back, pulling her into his embrace, rendering her almost immobile. Then, leaning down, he kissed her fragrant lips, while his other hand gently stroked her fluffy tail, as if soothing a kitten.
“Mmm!” The little maid’s eyes widened as a peculiar sensation spread throughout her body, akin to someone tickling her underarms, except the sensation originated from her tail and radiated outward.
She wanted to squirm, to struggle, to ease herself, but Xi Wei had her firmly pinned, her small mouth completely under his control.
Catching her breath, Loli’s pretty face burned crimson, her cheeks flushed, her large, pitiful eyes slightly narrowed, glistening with tears. Softly, she pleaded for mercy, “Master… Loli knows she was wrong, I’m sorry~”
Hearing this, Xi Wei loosened his grip slightly and teased, “Will you dare to do it again next time?”
“No, I won’t,” the little maid replied, her face buried in Xi Wei’s chest, too afraid to peek out.
A Demi-human’s ears and tail hold special significance; only the closest of people are allowed to touch them. Now, her heart pounded wildly, her face scorching hot.

The mountain stream flowed vigorously, converging at the base of the mountain to form a small lake.
Xi Wei stared at the playful stream and the tranquil lake for a long while before withdrawing his gaze. The image of the little maid just moments ago floated back into his mind.
Feeling sticky with sweat, he silently made his way to the wardrobe and changed into dry clothes.
“Master~” The soft, sweet voice of Loli called from outside the door.
Xi Wei opened the door.
He saw the little maid standing before him, hands clasped behind her back, staring at her toes, her long lashes fluttering, wanting to look at him but not daring to do so.
“This… this is for Master,” Loli carefully extended her hand, revealing a pendant crafted from a mini four-leaf clover encased in crystal, the crystal seemingly from a bottle of Life Water.
Xi Wei noticed that Loli was also wearing a similar pendant around her neck, though it contained a mini three-leaf clover inside the crystal.
This was the first time the little maid had given a gift, and to her favorite person at that, so it was inevitable that she felt nervous and uneasy.
She gazed at Xi Wei’s Adam’s apple, too shy to look any higher, afraid of seeing disdain in his eyes.
“Thank you, Loli,” Xi Wei exclaimed with delight as he took the pendant from the little maid’s hand. He embraced her warmly, smiling, “I really like this gift. Did you make this from the Life Water bottle I gave you when I treated your injuries?”
Loli nestled against Xi Wei’s chest, her face adorned with a sweet, blissful smile, and nodded gently at his words.
“I had thought you’d thrown that bottle away long ago.”
“How could I?…” Loli pouted, cooing softly, “That was the first gift Master ever gave to Loli; it has great symbolic meaning. I couldn’t possibly throw it away.”
“So, you turned it into a pendant?”
“Yes.” Loli giggled, Looking up, she gazed tenderly at Xi Wei and whispered, “Master, in Loli’s homeland, the four-leaf clover symbolizes luck. Wearing it brings increasing fortune to Master.”
“And what about the three-leaf clover?”
Xi Wei booped the little maid’s nose and inquired curiously.
“The three-leaf clover…”
Loli blushed deeply, muttering softly, “I won’t tell Master~”
“Master can guess it himself! I’m off to Mrs. Chris’s class now~”
With a playful hum, Loli turned, smiling, and skipped away, leaving Xi Wei with just a bouncing silhouette.
