Chapter: Briefly Discussing Future Plans and Thoughts

Originally, the chapters meant for Volume Three were included in Volume Two, and since I can’t delete chapters, this one is just going to be a thousand words of nonsense. QWQ

This marks the end of Volume Two, where the main content is Xi Wei basically ruling over the entire North Continent. Honestly, I didn’t do a great job with this part.

There weren’t many grand battle scenes or intricate political maneuvers between countries. Many things were just briefly touched upon because I’m not really good at writing about political intrigue, having never been exposed to such matters.

Volume Three will mainly focus on the undead, elves, and the storyline of the South Continent. The backgrounds of many countries in the South Continent are interconnected with my new book, and there are quite a few interactive elements between the two books.

You could say the new book builds on the background of this one, but the timeline is set thousands of years later, so the changes are significant. Readers of that book will notice many traces left by Xi Wei.

Let’s talk about plans.

Daily life scenes have become less frequent, with most of the focus now on progressing the plot. I’ve already included a lot of sweet moments earlier, so adding more now would just lead to fatigue.

My pacing in this book has been quite poor, and the new book suffers from the same issue, resulting in mediocre reading statistics. However, Penguin will continue writing, and I’m grateful for everyone’s support.

Currently, the old book should reach nearly 2 million words, and the new book will likely be around the same length.

Frankly, writing books is about making a living. If the returns are poor, I’ll speed up the plot to wrap it up sooner. But Penguin promises not to leave the story hanging. I’ll strive to give every character a fitting conclusion, including writing some side stories at the end of the final chapters (the normal kind). I take my work seriously, not just for Xi Wei, Loli, Sunian, and Anna, but also for myself and the readers who have been following my books.

I sometimes feel quite guilty because it’s been a long time since I interacted with my readers. I’m really busy…

My third book won’t be Western fantasy or include game elements. I plan to spend a month learning some professional knowledge and then prepare a book that I can fully dedicate myself to. I can’t guarantee that everyone will love this book, but I’ll be very serious about it. For example, if I decide to write about political intrigue, I’ll spend a lot of time reading history books, collecting data, and designing the plot, aiming to challenge myself with a higher difficulty. The tentative direction is traditional urban supernatural.

Finally, thank you all once again for your generous support.

Many readers might have seen me arguing in the comment section. It’s mainly because writing every day is exhausting, and as a young person, I’m quite hot-headed. If my work gets unfairly criticized, I can’t help but feel upset. However, I do take in objective and polite suggestions and make adjustments.

If any readers I’ve argued with are still reading my book, I sincerely apologize.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, though I think I’m just overthinking it.

That’s probably enough. It should be close to a thousand words now. Let me add a bit more nonsense.

Keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke, keke……

Also, the worlds won’t merge; they will only influence each other. Just saying it again!

He transmigrated into the villainous lord BOSS from his past life’s game. He originally thought he could reverse his fate of being defeated and reap benefits from the players. However, with an unscrupulous system taking over his body, he could only go against the players. He blocked the players’ resurrection points directly. He took away the players’ guiding NPC, the Saintess. Where there was oppression, there was resistance. The players began to launch su*cide attacks on Sivey’s castle. Sivey: “The players are going to farm me, what should I do? Waiting online, urgent!” Player: “We can’t even beat the small monsters in the castle!” Player A: “What? The BOSS fights while holding a top-tier maid nanny!” Player B: “What? Even the Saintess has defected?” Protagonist: “Help me up, I can still pretend!” Gods: “Something’s off with his maid squad!!” Demon King: “Give me some face, don’t pluck my wool today QAQ”
