27. Bedtime Game Between Girls
“So! What exactly were you trying to do when you barged into my room in the middle of the night!?”
Evelyn pouted, angrily questioning Emilia, who was hugging a pillow in front of her.
“Um… it’s a bit embarrassing to say, but… my room isn’t organized yet… so I was planning to stay here for a couple of days…”
Emilia looked awkward; it wasn’t that she had any ulterior motives towards Evelyn and was making up an excuse… but rather that the room she was supposed to stay in had been uninhabited for so long that it was filled with clutter, making it really difficult to clean up. Saying this, Evelyn took another blanket out of the wardrobe and tossed it to Emilia, then used her pile of plush toys neatly arranged in the middle of the bed to mark the boundary—everything to the right was Evelyn’s territory, and to the left was Emilia’s space.
“By the way, when I moved my stuff in this morning, I noticed that your room has such a girly vibe, Evelyn~ And this mountain of plush toys, I didn’t know you liked them so much!”

So, Evelyn slowly pulled down the blanket that was covering her head, as a sign of agreeing to Emilia’s game invitation.
“But we need to make it clear in advance; I will only play Truth, not Dare!”
Evelyn was well aware of how abstract the boundaries of Dare could be; a careless mistake could lead to Emilia taking advantage. So, before the game officially started, she ruthlessly banned that part.
Agreeing to let Emilia sleep next to her was already a huge mistake; Evelyn would definitely not give her any chances to take advantage!
