Chapter 30 Two More Magical Girls

As she spoke, L maintained her knife’s steady position, and if she even moved half a step closer, it would leave a mark on Ning Xi’s neck.
At this, 007 slightly flinched; seeing him still about to speak, L directly released her magic power, surging toward him like a tidal wave.
The turbulent winds around them were instantly dispersed, leaving 007 astonished and unable to utter another word.
“Sorry to disturb you.”
He instinctively bowed and respectfully retreated out the door.
The pressure L exerted on him was even more terrifying than that balding middle-aged leader who once sprayed him with blood from across a long table at the conference, making him involuntarily choose to withdraw.

L fixed her gaze on the core of Ning Xi’s magic; she could feel the dark magic that stirred a mix of emotions within her, piercing through layers of concealment.
It came from part of the core of the Desire Witch.
That witch should have turned to ashes, yet now she could still see her core. The people from the Combat Department had indeed deceived themselves back then.
But this also meant there was still a chance to see that witch.
Soon, those cleaning up the battlefield arrived, and the turmoil across City B was temporarily quelled. Ning Xi was forcibly taken to a café for questioning by Tang Nai.
Across the street where the café was located, two figures appeared, contrasting sharply with the surrounding scene.

The girl in sportswear brushed aside her damp yellow hair, stretching her athletic form as she looked at the silent white-haired girl beside her.

Ye Wanjing suddenly pointed excitedly at a cluster of blinding flames on the screen, exclaiming loudly to Sumu:
“Look, Wooden Mouse, I single-handedly lifted the entire building back up!”
Sumu weakly clapped her hands.
“Impressive, impressive…”

Seeing Sumu wilted, Ye Wanjing pouted, losing interest.

With that, Tang Nai once again picked up the probe she used to shock Sumu, and under Ning Xi’s terrified gaze, she thrust it fiercely into her abdomen.

Ning Xi’s expression instantly contorted in pain, her inky eyes gradually deepening, and her previously restrained limbs began to thrash vigorously.
