Lin Ye cleared his throat.
Then, holding the trunk of the hollow tree, he said to the Beast-eared Girls.
“Today, we are going to do something big. We are going to use the trunks of these trees to directly bring the river water into our tribe.”
“This way, everyone won’t have to walk such a long distance to the dangerous river to fetch water every few days!”
“I can’t accomplish this alone, so I need all of us to work together, with one heart and one mind, to bring water to our tribe.”
