Chapter Ninety-Five Seven Sages
“How is it? Is there any problem?”
Marymana smiled and looked at Li Wen. Judging from her expression, Li Wen realized that the other party deliberately wanted her to back down; otherwise, she wouldn’t have just said that the magic circle had a problem without mentioning which aspect was problematic.
But Li Wen was not someone who would back down. Since she had said she would help Marymana solve her problem as a reward, she would definitely do it.
“No problem.” she said directly.
“Are you sure? Showing off now is not a good habit.”
Marymana blinked her eyes.
“This is not difficult, it will just take a little time.”
The main time would be wasted on understanding the patterns of the magical text changes and their connection to the original magic circle. If it were a magic circle presented in another form, Li Wen could easily solve this matter. After all, Marymana only needed to find the problem, not solve it. Their task was too easy for Li Wen.
It’s just…
“Are you really going to hand it over to me?”
Li Wen asked very seriously.
Marymana said that the magic cube was the mana center of the Talanis magic circle’s core. Although this was a lie, the magic cube did indeed undertake the responsibility of mana supply. In other words, as long as this magic cube was destroyed, regardless of what type of magic circle it was responsible for supplying mana to, or what responsibility it bore on Talanis, the cessation of the magic circle’s operation would be a matter of course.
The entire Talanis Air Continent could be at great risk because of this.
Li Wen naturally did not have the ability to destroy the entire magic cube, but it was easy to destroy the small crystal that had fallen off the magic cube. She would not do that, of course, but why would Marymana believe her?
Was it just because Li Wen said she was Miranda’s apprentice? Marymana had not asked Miranda herself. Even if Li Wen wrote that letter, even if Li Wen said that Miranda was preparing for her promotion, these were not enough to fully prove that what she said was true.
Marymana was a mage, one of the smartest people in the world. Not a simple young girl.
And another strange thing was that Marymana’s so-called problem – finding the part of the magic circle pattern on this crystal that had a problem. This was actually a very simple thing for a mage who was proficient in magical circle studies.
But it just so happened that this matter, which should have been resolved by the Bird Association and Talanis internally, required seeking help from outsiders. Li Wen did not believe that there was not a single mage proficient in magical circle studies on the vast Floating Island. If nothing else, Marymana must have had some attainments in magical circles.
The entire matter revealed a strong sense of strangeness from beginning to end. Li Wen did not want to get involved in the affairs of mages. She just wanted to solve the problem and leave here to search for news of the Original Text in Leicester.
“If you have the ability…” Marymana squinted with a smile, “It cannot leave this space, so you can only find the problem here. I will give you some permissions for the Mage Tower. You can use these permissions to return to my Mage Tower, or return here from the Mage Tower.”
“You don’t have to worry about causing any accidents. The magic circle core and mana center here are incredibly sturdy. As long as you don’t cast spells randomly, there won’t be much risk. Alright, if it were you, how long do you think it would take to find the problem?”
Li Wen thought for a moment and deliberately said a longer time: “Two days will be fine.”
“Then I’ll let you try!” Marymana squinted, as if she also wanted to know if the little girl in front of her was a truly gifted girl or just bragging.

Moria came back to his senses.
The starry sky above was much more dazzling and beautiful than seen from the ground. However, compared to the vast starlight, he noticed a nearly invisible transparent film covering the entire Talanis Air Continent. If the film did not quickly flash with a faint colorful light every half an hour, Moria might not have noticed it.
That should be the composite protection barrier of Talanis, and the key to humans being able to live on the floating island without being blown away by the airflow, or freezing to death, or dying from lack of oxygen.
At the Holy See, Moria had completed the cultivation and trials of the Spellbreaker, but had never truly understood the world of mages. In his impression, mages were always figures who resided in high towers in the wilderness, conducted magical research alone, and rarely interacted with the world.
Compared to Moria, Harik and the other two, who were also mages, were clearly more excited.
“Look! This is the holy image of the Seven Sages!”
In a huge courtyard, Harik shouted excitedly.
He originally wanted to reach out and point to the statue not far in front of him, but he immediately retracted his hand, muttering something under his breath.
The so-called Seven Sages were the seven legendary mages who originally established the Kingdom of Arthur. Later, this title was passed down with the continuous strengthening of Arthur’s magical domain, becoming a symbol of the identity of those renowned magical masters, even to this day.
Moria was not very familiar with the history of the establishment of Arthur’s nation. He only knew that the legendary knight pulled out the holy sword from the stone and then, with the assistance of the great mage Merlin, ended the chaos in Arthur’s native land and unified the kingdom.
It was said that the Holy Sword of that Knight King was still preserved in the Victoria Grand Museum of the capital of Arthur. Whether it was true or not, if he had the chance, he wanted to go and see it.
“It’s a pity that we can’t go to the outer regions. I still want to see how big the legendary Talanis Air Continent really is.”
Although they had been wandering for quite some time, they had actually only been strolling in the areas within the Bird Association that were permitted for outsiders. They had not truly seen the full picture of the legendary floating island.
Nasha, the Wild Mage, also began to talk endlessly: “I heard that the permanent population of Talanis is over eight thousand, including many Transcendent beings, renowned artists and scholars, as well as异种族(异种族) and even beings from other worlds.”
Harik nodded repeatedly beside her, adding to the bragging.
“The Ring White Bird Association is one of the few committee associations that do not hold prejudice against 异种族 and Wild Mages, and is far superior to other association organizations. It is said that there are even legendary mages from hundreds of years ago living in seclusion on the air continent. It is truly a pity that we cannot go and behold their majesty.”
Moria did not think there was anything to regret. Even if the authenticity of this so-called “rumor” was fully guaranteed, and there was indeed such a legendary mage on the island. Then, it was likely that no one could find his existence, as he came to live in seclusion.
“Let’s go, it’s getting late.” Moria reminded them.
Tomorrow, the Talanis Air Continent would arrive at Leicester City. There, Moria would hand over the two Wild Mages to a trusted association, and then take the girl holding the Path of Light Chasing back to the Holy See to report.
