There are still more than half of the Labyrinths remaining. In terms of numbers, that’s fifty-six floors—to finish that in just one Labyrinth exploration sounds like madness.
Rainer doubted my sanity. But this is something I decided by mobilizing my Skill “Sensation” and all my experience up to today. That premonition has even reached a certain level of certainty.
“I managed to patch things up by running around the castle today… but I’m at my limit. After talking with both of you, I’m convinced. Rowen could collapse at any moment, and Nosfy might change their mind at any time. We probably don’t have any time left.”
I stated this as I led the way.
By meeting Rowen, summoning Nosfy, and having the two “Savior” gathered “here,” something in this stagnant “World” is starting to move.
“But Rowen is feeling better, and didn’t you set things up so you could make up with Nosfy? Even so, do you have to rush like this?”
“I think it’s only on the surface. My guess, based on my experience fighting various Guardians until yesterday, is that both of them are clearly acting strange…”
Unlike at the end of yesterday’s Labyrinth exploration, their expressions have brightened.
Rowen’s tantrum has subsided, and Nosfy has become quiet.
It seems to be going well—or at least, it appears that way. But I haven’t lived a life where I can be optimistic about such things.
Rather, it’s the opposite of “going well.”
I even feel like I’m being cornered.
That’s why I intend to emerge to the surface quickly. No matter what I do, “here” is too insular.
“…Christ, I understand what you want to say. But please, don’t go alone. If you’re going to the surface, I want to help.”
Perhaps he thought I was too deep in thought, Rainer cautioned me.
I softly shook my head, conveying my immaturity.
“Ah, I won’t do anything reckless. Rather, it will be tough without you, Rainer. If you don’t help me, I probably won’t be able to make it today.”
Those words were undoubtedly from the bottom of my heart. It’s precisely because we’ve killed each other a few times that Rainer and I can be honest with each other. Furthermore, by exploring the Labyrinth together for these past few days, I’ve come to understand Rainer’s way of thinking. I want to make the most of that strength.
Though we were a hastily formed Party after being thrown to the bottom of the Labyrinth, I finally feel like we’re becoming true companions.
Rainer must have thought the same thing, as he didn’t doubt my words and patted my shoulder in relief.
“Let’s go, Rainer. No breaks from here on out.”
“Haa, what a demanding Party Leader… Understood.”
To avoid any regrets, I started climbing the stairs leading to the fifty-sixth floor. Not a trace of carelessness in my steps. Of course, I didn’t slack off in yesterday’s exploration either. However, I’m now tightening my resolve, as if undergoing the “Ordeal” of the Fiftieth Floor and Sixtieth Floor.
Honestly, after finishing the battle with Palinkron and losing the “Magic Stone” within my body, I’ve likely weakened. My “Aptitude” has worn down, and certain Skills have weakened. However, in return, my heart has grown stronger—I believe that without a doubt. I will never fear again. I will not run away from this World. I will not mistake my own wishes. I will not lose myself by continuing to worry alone.
Relying on that mental strength, I enter the fifty-sixth floor. And what unfolds before my eyes is a familiar stone corridor. The Labyrinth’s construction seems to have returned to normal here. Unlike the rough rock faces of the lower floors, the walls still emit a faint light, but the intricate maze layout is the core, which I can discern with “Dimensional Magic.”
The maze-like nature is virtually no obstacle for me, a Dimensional Magic user. Reassured by the familiar corridor, we proceed swiftly along the shortest route identified by “Dimensional Magic.” Along the way, we encountered a few “Monsters,” but they did not attack. As Nosfy had mentioned, as long as the light attribute characteristics remain, aggressive monsters will not appear. Apparently, the fifty-sixth floor is still within safe territory.
While we have some leeway, we discuss the finer details of our audacious proposal.
“Still, Christ. Even if we’re going to the surface this time, what about food? We only have about one more meal’s worth left!”
Rainer confirms the practical aspects. Currently, there isn’t much food in my “Inventory.” While it’s partly because Rowen ate it all yesterday, fundamentally, we lack food.
“For meals—we’ll just have to endure.”
“T-that’s a simple and clear solution…”
Rainer’s voice trembles at that answer that overturns the fundamental problem. Even after coolly saying he’d “help,” he seems to regret his overly reckless plan a little.
“No, don’t worry, I’m not saying this without any calculation. I don’t think I can prevent the deterioration of my physical condition due to hunger, but from here on out, I don’t think it will be too much of a setback.”
“Certainly, from here on, the enemies will only get weaker, but…”
For me, a few days ago (though it seems like a year ago in reality…), when I hunted monsters with Rustiara and the others near the fortieth floor, I didn’t feel the enemies were strong. If I just reach the forties, I won’t be afraid of monsters like I would be in the sixties.
“Also, I’ve calculated the time properly. I have the path from the surface to the fortieth floor completely memorized, so in reality, there are only sixteen floors left. And if I consider that each of these sixteen floors takes about two hours to clear, the required time is about thirty-two hours. Then, the fortieth floor, which I know the path to, I think can be cleared in about twenty hours if I proceed without any wasted movement, so the total is…—”
“Guh, guh, guh…”
“Well, to put it simply, if we push for about two days without sleep, we’ll be done.”
Seeing Rainer’s face contort at the mention of specific numbers, I convey a rough estimate—two days.
That’s right.
It’s just a matter of enduring for about two days. If we think positively, it seems like we can solve the food problem by returning above ground all at once.
Even if it means doing something a bit reckless, if we can just reach the 40th Floor, we’ve practically won. If we can place a Connection on the 30th Floor, we can definitely return to the ground.
This is a challenge with a chance of success.
However, this is a challenge I, as I usually am, would definitely not take.
If I consider profit and loss first, exposing myself to such danger isn’t logical.
Being timid, I can’t help but be afraid of proceeding through the Labyrinth unless I have a hundred percent ‘win rate’ and absolute ‘safety.’
But, I’m done with that.
A hundred percent ‘win rate’ and absolute ‘safety’ are illusions.
I’ve learned this deeply and thoroughly. There’s no such thing as a hundred percent in this world. It’s impossible.
By thinking about safety margins and leeway like that, I always end up one step behind. Not only that, but the things I thought were the best course of action often backfired, causing trouble for many people.
That’s why I’ve decided to rush forward, even if it means shouldering danger.
I used to be too scared to even run, but I should be able to sprint now.
Ah, about sixteen floors left—I’ll skip, skip, and skip my way through.
“Hah, two days… to proceed without sleeping…”
Seeing my determined face, however, Rainer looked uneasy.
“No, that’s the maximum estimate. With our current Physical Ability, if we really push ourselves, we can shorten that. If things go well, I think it’ll take us a day. …I have plenty of room because I’ve done more than that in the Dance Battle Tournament, but is it tough for you, Rainer?”
“No, I’m good at staying awake too… But, if you ask me if I can maintain concentration while sleep-deprived, it’s a little…”
In my case, if my sleepiness reaches a certain point, my nerves actually sharpen. Rustiara even told me that it was better when I was sleepy.
But it seems Rainer isn’t like that.
Compatibility with sleepiness seems to depend on the person.
However, since this was within my expectations, I immediately explained my prepared alternative plan.
“…In that case, Rainer, you can rest for a bit.”
Seeing me immediately retract my previous statement, Rainer looked confused.
“No, resting in the Labyrinth is impossible. Or rather, weren’t we going to proceed without rest?”
“Strictly speaking, it means we won’t reset. We won’t return to Viais and start over from the 56th Floor—that kind of thing.”
“But you can’t rest unless you go back to Viais. It’s impossible to relax your guard in the Labyrinth.”
“Ah. That’s why, let’s have one of us return to Viais using Connection for a break.”
“Just one of us?”
“Yes, only the one who needs rest will return to Viais. Then, the one remaining will guard the Connection alone in the Labyrinth.”
“Ah, so that’s also possible…”
Finally, Rainer showed an expression of understanding.
It’s a dangerous method, but the reward upon success is great. He seems to understand that as well.
“The higher we go, the easier it becomes to defend the Connection, so I don’t think it’s that difficult a task.”
Of course, there’s a possibility of failure.
However, if I fail to defend and am left behind in the Labyrinth, I can just create another Connection and return. If Rainer is left behind, he’ll have no choice but to beg Rowen and Nosfy, who are in Viais, for help with a rescue….
“If this method of resting works, I’m confident we can return to the ground on this exploration.”
“You’ve thought things through, I suppose. But for that Christ to choose such a dangerous method, you must be serious.”
“Yeah, I’m seriously in a hurry. …No, I should have done this from the start.”
While I’m grateful to the ‘Covenant Bearer of the Deepest Part,’ it undoubtedly made me complacent. I had forgotten the sense of urgency I felt when I was about to rush to the deepest part without sleep for days.
As expected, there’s no power in this world that can be completely trusted.
Anything can be a poison or a medicine depending on how it’s used.
“Christ, the path is getting a little dark…”
While discussing the policy for this exploration, we had ventured deep into the 56th Floor. Since the monsters were still primarily of the light attribute, we were able to proceed smoothly without engaging in combat.
However, the brightness of the corridors had visibly changed.
The further we went, the dimmer the light became, and in some places, it flickered like a dying light bulb. This seemed to indicate the end of the safe zone of light-attribute monsters.
“Ah, let’s proceed carefully. As Nosfy mentioned, the enemy’s attributes might be changing soon.”
Only light-attribute monsters don’t attack.
We heightened our vigilance and pushed forward into the darkness.
When the corridor’s brightness dimmed to its usual dimness, we reached the stairs leading to the 55th Floor. Before ascending, I casually send a Dimension.
On the 55th Floor, we were met not with glowing monsters, but with ferocious wind-attribute monsters, similar to those encountered near the 66th Floor. The ceiling was a bit higher, and the corridor was made of the rough, unhygienic stone we were familiar with.
“Rainer, from here on, I expect monsters to attack. I plan to avoid enemies as much as possible, but I can’t avoid all of them. I’m counting on you.”
“Ah, I know. Leave the vanguard to me, as always.”
With Rainer at the front, we descended to the fifty-fifth floor.
Then, we aimed for the ground by taking the shortest route calculated by Dimension – Curvature Calculation. The enemy’s perception range is estimated based on the High Green Element of the upper floors. It’s predicted that on this floor, which is nearly ten floors shallower, it won’t exceed that wide perception range.
Of course, during this time, unlike the illuminated floors, there were places we couldn’t proceed smoothly. Monsters that absolutely could not be bypassed stood in our way. In such cases, we two would launch a surprise attack. Unlike our previous exploration, there was no probing around. We prioritized saving time over safety and pushed through forcefully.
The monsters we encountered were beast-type monsters resembling wolves. What differed from regular wolves were their four legs. Instead of flesh, they were legs of concentrated magic power, treading on air.
【Monster】Sky Runner: Rank 52
Their name was Sky Runner.
As the name suggests, they were wolves that ran through the sky.
We attacked from the Sky Runners’ blind spot.
Rainer sprinted directly towards the enemy, with me following behind him.
On the way, I spoke to the vanguard knight with a relaxed tone.
“Regarding what you said earlier about not needing sleep, I’ll correct one thing… I don’t think I’m as dangerous as Rainer worries. After all, we’re getting stronger. Especially you, Rainer, you’re already—”
The Sky Runner, sensing the attack, turned around.
Its reaction speed was so fast that our surprise attack was thwarted and met with a counter. As the Sky Runner recognized the enemy, its two front legs transformed into menacing claws.
Rainer ran on the ground, and the Sky Runner ran in the air, and they clashed.
In the first clash—Rainer’s dual swords met the Sky Runner’s claws and fangs, and both were repelled backward. Then, for the second strike. Seeing Rainer and the Sky Runner charge forward in the same manner, I cast magic without incantation.
By focusing entirely on observing the first clash, I predicted the movements of the second strike.
Based on that information, I slightly—using Dimension – Curvature Calculation—altered the trajectories of both their attacks. The shift was probably less than a centimeter. However, the effect was tremendous.
“—Wind Flamberge!”
Only Rainer’s full-powered magic sword struck true.
The sharpness of the excellent dual swords was amplified by wind magic. As a result, the Sky Runner’s body was sliced apart with little resistance and vanished into light.
As the battle ended, I stated the rest of my words with conviction.
“—It’s a different dimension of strength now.”
Even in this deep section, Rainer’s attack power is sufficient. The swords he uses might have an effect, but against monsters that are a bit weaker in this area, if he can take the initiative and deliver his strongest blow, he can achieve victory.
Rainer tossed the dropped magic stone to me, tilting his head in confusion.
“Are you that much stronger? I just feel like the enemies are getting weaker… For example, compared to the Guardians—Lord, Nosfy, Palinkron, and Rowen—aren’t we still far behind?”
“No, you’re comparing the wrong opponents, that’s… You should have more confidence in yourself, Rainer.”
When I first met Rainer, he was about to be eaten by monsters on a single-digit floor.
However, when I met him again, he desperately showed me his urgency, and the next time, he cornered me in cooperation with his companions. And in the last battle with Palinkron, he completely bloomed with talent and stood shoulder to shoulder with me.
On top of that, he’s now learning magic from Lord, a Demon King from a thousand years ago, and his equipment is being enhanced by Reinand, who possesses the “Divine Steel Blacksmithing” from a thousand years ago, and his Level is still rising.
If this isn’t called getting stronger, then who is?
“As a wind-attribute knight, there’s no one as complete as Rainer. For example, even with terrain like this…”
Even as I spoke, my feet didn’t stop moving through the labyrinth.
After defeating the Sky Runner that was an obstacle, we entered the next area. The stone corridors changed, becoming a more rough-hewn path. It was less of a wall and more of being sandwiched between cliffs, forming a rugged rocky path.
Flat paths were now rare, and there were times when we had to overcome sheer cliffs.
This is where Rainer’s magic shines.
“—Wind.”
“Thank you, Rainer.”
Thanks to the lift of the wind, we could ascend the cliffs smoothly, like a chamois climbing a mountain.
Thanks to the fine magic control honed by Lord, the consumption of unnecessary magic power and stamina is suppressed. Since it’s wind magic that can be covered by natural recovery, Rainer’s MP is effectively not decreasing.
With Rainer’s current adaptability, he could probably move freely even on the thirty-fifth floor, which was completely submerged.
“Like this, we can adapt well. I believe the breadth of adaptability is strength. With your abilities, Rainer, you should be able to fight any Guardian depending on the method.”
This might be a bit of an exaggeration—but that’s what I hope for.
After all, the Guardians currently existing in the world are Aid, Lord, and Nosfy, three people. In some cases, there might be situations where we have to fight multiple Guardians simultaneously. In that case…
“R-Really?”
“…First of all, unlike me, you have the fundamentals down.”
I proceeded to explain Rainer’s strengths from my perspective.
Unlike me, who only possesses a handful of basic spells, Rainer has both basic wind magic and Divine Magic.
This is likely the result of the education from the Academy. Of course, that education also caused him to be trapped by preconceived notions, but that has already been resolved.
Rainer had become capable of handling a variety of magic in many ways.
And, he had even learned magic operation (shouting at the top of his lungs using ruby text) directly taught by me.
“I can do all sorts of things, so I can fight in ways that annoy the enemy. I’m really envious because I can only fight in close combat,” Rainer said.
“Fighting in ways that annoy the enemy, huh… As a knight, it’s not a style of fighting I particularly want to do, but when it’s a battle I can’t afford to lose, I can’t say that anymore…”
“Honestly, from the perspective of supporting and giving instructions from the rear, Rainer is incredibly useful.”
“This is the first time I’ve ever heard you say that.”
Up until now, I’d only had companions who were either completely specialized or had personality issues, so I felt that way especially. Rainer would be the companion who could best utilize the skill “Command” I acquired yesterday. Rather, I felt like I acquired the skill “Command” because I was fighting alongside Rainer.
“Shall we continue fighting like this next? Thanks to the light-filled floor in between, it’s much easier. Um… the next monster looks like a bird. Let’s do the same as before. Rainer, do your best. If you fall below, I’ll pull you back with *Default*.”
“Got it!”
As we were talking and climbing the cliff, we were attacked by a new type of bird-like monster.
【Monster】Rioesui Eagle: Rank 53
Its name and appearance were similar to the Rio Eagles around the 20th floor. It was likely a superior version.
And so, we found ourselves in a battle with no solid footing, in an unfavorable posture. However, we weren’t flustered. As long as we had magic power, we wouldn’t die from falling. Above all, we trusted each other implicitly to cover each other’s backs.
The Rioesui Eagle, which possessed no particularly alarming abilities, was dealt with in a short time, just like the Sky Runners before. All Rainer had to do was intercept their attacks, and I would flank them from behind. It was a monotonous, but for the enemy, an unavoidable tactic.
Thus, the Rioesui Eagle, its heart pierced, turned to light, and its magic stone fell to the bottom of the cliff.
While annoyed by the fact that we couldn’t recover the magic stone from a cliff battle, we continued to deal with the subsequent enemy attacks. Like the Rio Eagles, they had a tendency to call out to others, so in the end, we ended up defeating all the Rio Eagles in the vicinity.
Then, after about twenty minutes of repeated interception and cliff climbing, we finally reached the stairs leading to the 54th floor. After a brief assessment of the next floor with the customary *Dimension*, we immediately advanced. The cliff battles had been no trouble, and we knew the next floor would be even easier.
We proceeded through the 54th floor, enveloped in the unique sensation of ascending through the labyrinth. While there were still some special areas like cliffs here and there, it was basically a normal stone corridor.
Furthermore, we took the shortest route through the labyrinth where the enemies had weakened, pushing forward at our fastest pace. At this point, our main concern was the distribution of stamina and magic power. Even though it had become easier, the journey was long. We wanted to conserve MP as much as possible.
As part of that, I urged him to change weapons.
I relayed information I had confirmed during the past hour of fighting the Rioesui Eagles, during which I had focused on observation.
“—Rainer! This enemy is clearly resistant to wind attribute! Fight with *Sylph Ruf Bringer* switched to ‘One Wing’! And let’s conserve wind magic against opponents like this!”
“Ah, I forgot I had a third one! I’ll do that!!”
Rainer skillfully returned one of his swords to its sheath and replaced it with the sword he had newly acquired yesterday. ‘One Wing’ was a weapon that had not yet regained its original power. It was likely inferior to *Sylph Ruf Bringer* by several ranks. Not only its simple sharpness but also its resistance to wind magic was lost by Rainer.
However, even so, ‘One Wing’ was more suited for fighting Rioesui Eagles.
Like the Rio Eagles, they didn’t use any wind magic, and their attacks consisted mainly of beak and claw strikes. When they tried to escape without being instantly killed by Rainer’s attacks, I would finish them off with a throw instead of pursuing with wind magic.
Although the battle time was extended slightly due to conserving magic, we defeated them without any particular issues. In this battle, we used absolutely no MP.
“It’s really easy to fight when Christ gives instructions…”
“No, I still think I have a long way to go. The skill ‘Command’ seems to have a low level.”
“Well, before that, the leader was the amateur Shira Legacy, and before that, it was Elder Sister Fran…”
“Compared to those two, of course…”
He was probably impressed by the situation where he could fight at the front lines with peace of mind, having never experienced fighting with a competent leader before.
I watched him with a wry smile and continued to advance further.
Then, while scouting from the rear, I pondered Rainer’s words, “It’s easy to fight.”
The enemy ranks had decreased, and the unique conditions like cliffs were gone, which was probably why those words came out naturally. While I couldn’t let my guard down, I honestly felt the same way.
“…Alright.”
No matter what monsters we encountered from now on, I decided to ignore them first. Without even confirming their abilities, I would focus only on our condition and push forward with all our might. I believed we had entered a realm where that was possible.
“From here on, I will also wield my sword at the front. From here, let’s hurry to advance even further.”
I drew my *Crescent Pectoral Azure’s Straight Sword* and announced that I, with my abundant stamina and MP, would join the front lines.
“Understood, Master. There can be no objections.”
Rainer, who placed his complete trust in me, agreed without hesitation.
Thus, a full-blown forced march began.
Terrain, enemies, everything ignored.
Even if we found rare monsters or altars with divine weapons, we ignored them.
Without looking aside, ignored, ignored, ignored.
Faster. Faster, and much, much faster—
While repeating this in my mind, Rainer and I raced through the 54th Floor.
After that, we immediately plunged into the 53rd Floor and proceeded in the same manner.
Naturally, there were times when monsters attacked us from behind along the way. At those times, we consumed our magic power without hesitation and forcefully pushed forward. We had the magic to do so.
“Faster, faster, faster, faster!”
Like an incantation, I wished to return to the ground quickly. The “price” lost for this “acceleration” would likely be our “safety.”
However, the effect of that incantation was dramatic. My breath was short, and I was hit by enemy attacks a few times, but there was no doubt that we were clearing floors in less than half the original exploration time.
Thus, we succeeded in accelerating our dungeon exploration. Perhaps, in theory, it was the fastest…
◆◆◆◆◆
And then, about four hours had passed since we forcefully began our dungeon exploration. Dungeon exploration aiming for the ground became easier the further we progressed. I hadn’t thought so in the 60s, but I was finally beginning to feel its benefits.
There were no monsters with abnormal evasion abilities, nor any with abnormal mobility. Without any particular problems, we cleared the 53rd and 52nd floors in the same way.
However, the problem arose on the 51st Floor afterwards. I had a feeling there would be such a floor, but not until now.
A floor of complete emptiness awaited us.
And yet, despite having the same size and height as the 66th Floor—there was no spiral staircase in the center. The divide between the 50th and 51st Floors, half of the labyrinth, had a structure that refused to turn back. It was probably a floor that was difficult to descend normally, but the situation of reversing through the labyrinth presented a different kind of difficulty. Standing on ground where not even a single blade of grass grew, unlike the 66th Floor, I cursed the person who created this labyrinth in my heart and glared at the sky.
After glaring… and a moment of thought, I quickly came up with the optimal solution.
“Haa, I can’t help it. Shall we use Dimension – Multiple Expansion?”
It’s a problem, but it’s still an easy one. Rather, we should think of it as a tailwind. If we play our cards right, we can clear the 51st Floor in just a few minutes. At this pace, reaching the ground on this first day is not an impossible dream.
“Is that alright? If we wanted to fly, we could use Wind Magic.”
“No, I have more MP remaining. Besides, there are monsters lurking around, so I want to finish the movement in an instant. …Wait a moment. —Magic: Dimension – Multiple Expansion.”
I extended Dimensional Magic upwards. However, instead of spreading over a wide area, it felt like drawing a line towards the hole leading to the 50th Floor. The image of the magic was a “ruler.” To reduce the MP consumption of Default, I measured the distance with millimeter precision. Closing my eyes, I intentionally blocked out my sense of touch, hearing, and smell, focusing all my thought on measuring the distance. There was no need to consider the influence of the wind or magic in the air, so the measurement was completed quickly. The distance from the stone ground to the edge of the hollow cavity above… is two thousand two hundred and seventy-four meters, seventy-eight centimeters, and three millimeters—no, around four millimeters. An error of less than a fraction of a percentage point should be within the acceptable range. With this, the preparations are complete.
“Rainer, grab on. We’re going to ‘fly’ immediately.”
“Huh, al-already?”
“—Magic: Default.”
Taking Rainer’s hand, I activated Default according to the calculated distance. It was a long-distance compression of space unprecedented for me, but the MP consumption was not significant. The key to this magic lies in compressing space, and that consumes the most magic power. Therefore, merely extending the distance does not incur a heavy cost. After a sensation of being pulled, the distance became zero in an instant. Then, with a feeling of weightlessness, I was flung upwards. First, I threw Rainer into the large hole. As for myself, I grabbed the edge of the large hole and climbed up to the 50th Floor.
Thus, having safely reached the 50th Floor, we observed our surroundings.
“So, this is the 50th Floor… Rowen’s floor…”
The world that unfolded was a vast grassland. It had a similar structure to the 40th Floor, Aid’s floor—and the 66th Floor, which was close to Viais. There was nothing novel about it. A gale blew, striking our bodies as if to assert its wind attribute nature, but that was all.
After checking for immediate dangers, Rainer began to walk.
“But, Christ, Rowen is currently behind the 66th Floor. In this case, what about the Guardian? Will nobody appear?”
“I think so, probably. If possible, I’d like to take a short break here before proceeding, but…”
If there’s no Guardian, the 50th Floor would be a perfect place to rest. We’d been walking for several hours. I wanted a brief respite to rest our legs.
As I continued walking to confirm the safety of the floor, the situation gradually became ominous. This was not a metaphorical statement but a literal one. As we approached the center of the 50th Floor, clouds began to fill the ceiling, despite being inside a labyrinth. Eventually, raindrops began to fall from the clouds. Combined with the gusts of wind within the labyrinth, it felt as if we were caught in a storm. The grass growing on the ground swayed like the violent currents of a great ocean.
“It seems to be raining in the center. If you want to rest, it’s better to go to the edge—”
It was when I tried to escape the center, which was not suitable for resting. In the midst of the storm—there was a human figure in the center of the 50th Floor. The figure, who had been kneeling, was just starting to stand up. There was a sense of déjà vu in that sight. It looked like the “summoning” that occurs when a human intrudes upon a Guardian’s floor.
“R-Rowen…?”
While expanding Dimension, I muttered the name of the person I thought it might be. However, the person there was—
