Chapter 169: Lobey’s Invitation
After Su Jiu and Yun Xi had played for a few more hours, people from the Lobey family arrived. Upon hearing the phone, Su Jiu and Yun Xi reluctantly finished one last game before rushing downstairs.
According to their plan, they were to obtain some information from the Lobey family, as they were still in the dark about the time and location of the sacrifice.
In the hallway, Yun Xi, walking ahead with her back to Su Jiu, suddenly stopped and said quite seriously, “Stupid servant, you should hurry back to Dragon Country after getting the magic crystals! Even a War General level participant could be shattered to pieces in this kind of event, and we have no idea how many people are involved.”

Feeling the warmth on her wrist, Yun Xi looked up, a hint of tenderness on her face, a tenderness that belonged only to a certain person.

Laura smiled and said, “This is my grandfather, a High-Rank Battle General. He said he wanted to see the descendants of the Sword God family and also protect me, so he came along.”
Su Jiu looked at the seats in the car and, holding Yun Xi’s hand, got in together. The Bald Youth was still sitting in the passenger seat.
Unlike last time, a tall, hook-nosed middle-aged man had replaced John. He seemed to be Laura’s elder, as his ears were also semi-pointed.
He was a half-blood, and his full head of pale hair seemed to indicate that his age was not as young as Su Jiu perceived.
As Su Jiu and Yun Xi entered the car, the Hook-nose Middle-aged Man looked at Su Jiu’s face with some admiration, “Such a young War General, you must be under thirty, right? If not for you, not only John but even Laura wouldn’t have returned, let alone received the first embrace.”
