Chapter 50: Leaving After the Job is Done
Within half a minute, Su Jiu dragged A Dun, who had fallen into an infant-like sleep, into the camp. Passersby pointed and commented. Su Jiu replied in a seemingly cute tone, “Excuse me, can you move aside? I’m a Priest.”
Although her method of dragging was causing the patrolling students’ mouths to twitch slightly, the green life aura in her hands couldn’t be faked.
She was a cute Priestess!
“Thank you… Everyone is tired, let’s all get back to our own business. Even though I’m a Priest, I still have a little strength.”
Everyone offered to help, but Su Jiu politely declined. She raised her tender arms and waved them, then continued dragging.
Occasionally, the sound of her hitting pebbles made the jade green on her hands deepen by another shade.
Everyone watched Su Jiu’s receding back, feeling a slight sense of warmth in their hearts. What a gentle girl, considerate of them.
Arriving at the large tent, Su Jiu, much to the shock of Xiao Yu and a few others, threw A Dun onto the bedsheet. While maintaining her skill, Su Jiu set her gaze on Xiao Yu and gently said, “Sister Yu, hand over the Qingmian Technique to me.”
Xiao Yu clearly hadn’t recovered yet. With a strange expression, she pointed at A Dun and asked, “Jiusu, how did you persuade him to come back?”
“I didn’t persuade him.” Su Jiu shook her head, her small face serious. “The Wood Bloodline can use some paralyzing skills to treat the target. I just made a slight move.”
Looking at A Dun’s pained and ferocious square face, and his slightly sunken chest, then glancing at Su Jiu’s elf-like small face, Xiao Yu quickly understood what had happened. Her mouth twitched as she nodded seriously, “Indeed, the Wood Bloodline can learn such paralyzing skills.”
Immediately, she took out her phone from her pocket and swiped a few times with her finger, handing it to Su Jiu. “The cultivation methods are all in this WPS file. Take your time to look at it. I’ll have another girl take over your hemostatic work.”
“No need, I don’t trust others…”
Su Jiu glanced at A Dun’s now swollen back of the head. If it were some of the weaker Priest sisters, this guy might have really kicked the bucket.
Moreover, learning healing skills was as easy as taking candy from a baby for her. As everyone knows, the skill learning period for Healers is the most gentle. Su Jiu’s so-called fragile constitution was relative to Lord-level Monsters. But when compared to Healers of the same level…
It could only be described as the difference between a steel plate and a small wooden block.
Taking the phone, Su Jiu suddenly remembered that her own phone seemed to have been lost somewhere…
“Never mind, I’ll just buy a new one later.”
Shaking her head, Su Jiu scanned the content at a glance. Due to the reinforcement of her Twin Bloodline, her personal memory had improved significantly. After only about ten minutes of reading, she handed the phone back.
Xiao Yu and Xiao You looked at each other with confusion. Then Xiao Yu took the phone back and asked tentatively with a rather tense expression, “You can’t learn it?”
“I’ve learned it. Now, leave it to me.” Su Jiu gently shook her head, then closed her eyes lightly, as if brewing something.
“You learned it?”
Xiao Yu and Xiao You exchanged glances, their eyes filled with two words—you’re trying to fool a ghost! Obviously, they wouldn’t believe anyone could be so talented as to learn it in 10 minutes, and this wasn’t just about memorizing it. It required physical compatibility.
Those healing students were rolling their eyes at each other. The Qingmian Technique was not that easy to learn. Even the strongest student in their department, due to their powerful Bloodline, had only barely learned it after re-contacting it…
“Boom!”
Before they could think much about it, suddenly, an aura of life dispersed from Su Jiu’s hair, scattering onto the tent and forming streaks of light green cyclones. The cyclones continued to gather, swirling like floating clouds.
Xiao You looked at the healing students whose faces showed incredulous expressions. She turned to look at Xiao Yu in confusion, only to see that her face was equally exceptionally solemn, which made her even more perplexed.
“It’s continuous purification cyclones. The Qingmian Technique emphasizes the continuous scouring of incessant cyclones to achieve the effect of purifying toxins. Did she… really only look for ten minutes?”
Xiao Yu lowered her head to look at Su Jiu, whose eyes were tightly closed. The shock in her eyes slowly turned to suspicion. Had the other party already known it, and was just pretending to be foolish all this time?
But she quickly dismissed her own speculation. Su Jiu’s hand movements were incomparably awkward, not at all like a seasoned veteran. The ability to generate cyclones was entirely due to the powerful life force brought by her Bloodline. So, there was only one possibility left…
She genuinely just learned it? Then why did she say she couldn’t use healing skills? She was already almost an Advanced Stage Warrior.
Xiao Yu’s gaze fell again on A Dun’s slightly sunken chest, and a ridiculous answer flashed in her mind: this elf-like girl had a powerful combat Bloodline.
Then she glanced at Su Jiu’s small, delicate melon seed face, and she silently shook her head, thinking she was overthinking things. How could such a cute girl have a combat Bloodline?
“Bang! Bang! Bang!”
In the next moment, as Su Jiu’s eyes opened and closed, the green cyclones under the tent were like meteors smashing towards A Dun’s legs, emitting dull thudding sounds, full of impactful force, like chopping meat on a chopping board.
Xiao Yu’s eyelids twitched violently. Was this the great mercy and great compassion, Gatling Bodhisattva?
“I remember in class they said to pat gently and continuously. This…”
Several assisting healing students’ faces went from disbelief to dumbfounded. Soon, a girl wearing glasses pointed at the cyclones above her head and hesitated, saying uncertainly, “Is it possible that… when they were in class, there weren’t such dense cyclones.”
At this moment, everyone looked up at the tent’s ceiling. There were indeed many green cyclones filling it, looking like small dark clouds.
Su Jiu held a healing spell in one hand and continuously activated the cyclones with the other, smashing them down. She looked somewhat like an angel from the Bible.
After about a minute, Su Jiu stopped her movements, lightly exhaled, and gave a small dimple smile to the equally stunned Xiao Yu beside her. “Sister Yu, I haven’t failed the trust. This person is healed for you all.”
Xiao Yu glanced at her, instinctively swallowed, and gestured with her eyes for the healing students to check. After a while, one of the girls exclaimed in surprise, “He’s actually healed! Brother Dun’s fire poison is gone, it’s just that there are many wounds on his head for some reason.”
She tilted her head and muttered in confusion, “Didn’t he get hit in the head, if I remember correctly?”
“Let’s go eat… I remember when we first came in, people were cooking lunch.”
Su Jiu glanced at them, covering her rumbling stomach, pursed her lips, and turned to leave the tent, behaving like someone who leaves after the job is done, seeking no credit or fame.
Soon, she arrived among the group of students eating together, staring intently at the large chunks of meat in the pot, and asked somewhat shyly, “Can I have a bowl?”
Man is iron, food is steel. Her egg liquid was gone, her lollipop was gone, and she had used healing skills. She was now truly like a starving ghost reborn.
A girl, knowing that Su Jiu had just gone to treat A Dun, gratefully helped Su Jiu dish out food. Su Jiu stayed quietly in place, listening to the boys bragging.
“Hey, have you guys heard? That white fairy deer seems to have become active again recently. It seems to be constantly observing people.”
“Right, right. When a buddy of mine was fighting a Scarlet Flame Wolf, he coincidentally saw a pair of green eyes looking at him. He thought he was going to die, but it turned out to be a tall white fairy deer. It just glared at the Scarlet Flame Wolf, and the Scarlet Flame Wolf turned into powder and shattered.”
“Deer?”
Su Jiu fell into thought.
