A day had passed since the awarding ceremony and buffet party, despite some minor troubles.
Grand Order’s Master Tolman had handled my Order registration after the ceremony, making me an O-rank Order in name and deed. Mina also received her registration as an Outside Order.

This is how the Outside Order system works.
When Dianos saw Mina’s Order License, he was very surprised that she was a B-rank Order.
Today, Mana, Mina, and Flam and I are scheduled to have our wedding ceremony at the Priests’ Guild in the Royal Capital, and afterwards, we’ll go hunting just inside the Trial Hearts and Ideal Mountain Range.
As usual, I woke up in a room in Amagi Castle surrounded by Prim, Mina, Flam, Rika, Lydia, and Ludia.
Mana and I are getting married tonight, so this will be our wedding night.
Yuri also wants to be with Mana, so it’s the same for her.
Even though I understand what they want to say, it’s not uncommon for engaged couples to be intimate before marriage, even if they are minors.
In fact, Lydia and Ludia are still nearly a year away from adulthood.
While making excuses in my mind, we headed to the Priests’ Guild after breakfast.
However, the High Class of Trial Hearts had already come to the castle early in the morning to receive weapons bestowed by His Majesty, and Emperor Reinhardt and his entourage are also living in Amagi Castle, so everyone else was already there.
We can perform the ceremony immediately upon arriving at the Priests’ Guild, so this is also fine.
By the way, it seems His Majesty immediately fell into a deep sleep after bestowing weapons upon Trial Hearts.
I wondered if they were okay with neglecting state affairs, but it turns out today was officially a holiday.
It seems odd, considering the Crafter’s Guild is about to publicly announce the alloy to the Amister Kingdom, and simultaneously, the Order’s Guild will be issuing a request to the Hunter’s Guild to collect the hide of Rock Boars, and it’s his daughter’s wedding too.
We of Wing Crest are traveling in a beast carriage pulled by Jade and Fluorite, while Trial Hearts are using a beast carriage pulled by two Battle Horses. This time, Emperor Reinhardt, Highness Elis, and Highness Maruca are also accompanying us in our beast carriage, as they wanted to ride along.
Royal beast carriages are also accompanying us, but this is also to transport Yuri, Rika, Apricot, Ed, Marina, Fiana, former Queen Roeana, and Sazanka to Amagi Castle after the wedding ceremony.
Rika has discussions about Feel and the Marquisate of Amatista at Amagi Castle, and Ed and the others have been allowed to borrow the Emperor’s workshop to make Mana’s Armor Coat.
Fiana, though a woodworker, has assisted Ed and the others many times, so she’ll be focusing on support this time.
And Yuri, she also wishes to go to Feel with us.
I think it’s a bit much before the wedding, but she is determined not to back down and intends to persuade Emperor Iver, who has become the new Emperor.
“Mmm, a beast carriage pulled by Hippogriffs feels quite stable.”
“Indeed. Battle Horses are not bad, and they are standard, but the sheer power is completely different.”
Princess Elis and Princess Maruca are already enjoying themselves.
“I won’t deny that, but I believe Mana and Mina’s Battle Horses will also be pulling this beast carriage sometimes. After all, they are Hippogriffs, so it would be stressful if they couldn’t fly.”
Emperor Reinhardt truly understands.
Jade pulls the beast carriage without any complaints, but Fluorite dislikes pulling it because he can’t fly.
Since Prim scolded him the other day, he has been more cooperative, but he still dislikes it and we release him from pulling the carriage quickly.
Jade, too, would be happy if he could fly freely, so I hesitate to make him pull it every day.
“In the future, my Spica and Mina’s Breeze will likely be pulling it more often. Battle Horses cannot fly, and they have little reluctance to pull beast carriages, so it would be better to do so.”
It seems Grantpus is similar.
“Fluorite doesn’t like pulling it much, and Jade would get frustrated if made to pull it for extended periods, so it might be better to do so for long-distance travel.”
“In fact, we’re returning by beast carriage.”
Two people each for Jade and Fluorite, and five people for Sirius. Even though they can fly, we can’t fit everyone, so it seems this is the only way.
Fortunately, beast gear for Battle Horses is sold at the ranch, so we can easily obtain equipment for pulling beast carriages.
Both Battle Horses and Grantpus are excellent and popular as both magical beasts and beast carriage pullers. Grantpus is stronger, while Battle Horse is faster.
When pulling beast carriages, one Grantpus is sufficient, but two Battle Horses are needed, which is why Grantpus is preferred. However, as magical beasts, Battle Horses, which can run fast, are more popular.
That said, in the end, it all comes down to personal preference and compatibility.
Currently, Mina’s Breeze, Mana’s Luna, Spica, and Sirius are also riding in our beast carriage. Mana, who is also a Summoner, has formed summoning contracts with three beasts: Carbunculus Luna, Battle Horse Spica, and Ice Rock Sirius.
Luna is Mana’s partner, who has been with her since she was young, a gift from her great-grandmother, Sayuri. Luna is a small monster about the size of a miniature poodle, with a red jewel on its forehead, a bushy tail like a squirrel, and jade-colored fur. Even so, Luna is a B-rank monster, and Mana has told me that Luna has saved her life many times when she first became a hunter.
Spica, a Battle Horse, was contracted during an assignment that was received with Holy Grave when they went to Count Sofia’s territory. They fell in love at first sight. Spica’s magical compatibility is reportedly better than Luna’s, and although Spica is a C-rank monster, it has become capable of defeating B-rank monsters. It seems Spica may evolve soon.
Sirius, an Ice Rock, is a B-rank monster that manipulates ice-elemental magic. They met about three years ago near the Gold Glacier in Torencia when Sirius was injured. They formed a contract out of gratitude. Sirius is not actually made of ice. It is a large monster with light blue feathers, nearly 5 meters long and with a wingspan of over 10 meters. It can carry up to five people, and they have often ridden Sirius since the contract.
With the addition of these three beasts, the living quarters inside the beast carriage are starting to feel cramped. Sirius is particularly large. When its wings are spread, it occupies nearly a third of the space, so I need to think of a solution.
“Two Hippogriffs pulling a beast carriage is amazing, but I’m more drawn to the interior. I never expected mirroring to be applied 30 times.”
“Indeed.”
Applying mirroring to the interior of a beast carriage to expand its internal space is common, though expensive.
However, the limit for mirroring application was thought to be 10 times, so to create a spacious interior, the beast carriage itself had to be made larger. In fact, the royal beast carriages are one size larger than ours but have half the interior space, at 240 square meters.
“Umm, I haven’t precisely verified it, but it seems that with the magic power of a High Class, it’s possible to apply it 20 to 30 times, and with an Ancient Class, even 50 times or more.”
Fina, the woodworker who knows the most about applying mirroring to beast carriages, is explaining nervously but diligently.
“Is that so? Does that mean the mirroring on this beast carriage was done by Yamato?”
“No, I can’t do mirroring applications. I just lent Fina my magic power as support.”
Even so, Fina used up all her magic power and became unable to do anything until the next day.
“Oh, that’s too bad. Are you alright?”
“Y-yes. But because of that, we discovered that mirroring can be applied on a larger scale, so it was a valuable learning experience for me.”
“I want to say that’s good news, but there weren’t that many High Crafters, were there?”
Indeed, if mirroring could be applied 20 times, the space could be further expanded. The royal beast carriages cannot accommodate their mount inside, but with 20 times the mirroring, the space would double, allowing them to sleep inside the carriage. Considering safety on long journeys, having stables inside the beast carriage is undoubtedly necessary. It’s rare for royalty or nobles to camp out, but it’s still better to be prepared.
“High Crafter, you say? I know about three.”
“Me too.”
I don’t know any High Crafters, but perhaps Emperor Reinhardt and Mana do.
Well, as someone who has only been in Helios Orb for about a month, I can’t compare.
“I’ve already spoken to Yamato about it. It’s Sayuri.”
Prim told me.
Ah, she’s a guest who married into the royal family, the great-grandmother of Mana and Emperor Reinhardt.
Come to think of it, I do remember hearing she was an O-rank Crafter.
However, considering she’s the great-grandmother of the current king, wouldn’t it be difficult to ask for favors casually, even if she’s a Crafter?
“If you simply place a request as a Crafter, she will gladly accept it. However, the problem is that she is not in the Royal Capital, even though we want her to test it.”
She’s not here?
I heard that as an O-rank Healer and O-rank Crafter, her life’s work is traveling to towns and villages where healers are scarce. Is she on such a journey now?
That’s a shame.
“As someone from the same region, I would have liked to meet her.”
“I believe my great-grandmother would feel the same. After all, since Mr. Kazushi of Torencia and Mr. Shinichi of Bacion passed away one after another about 30 years ago, she has been the last guest.”
That’s right.
Sayuri Reina Amister, the great-grandmother of Emperor Reinhardt and Mana, is 107 years old.
Her appearance is said to be so youthful that she could pass for someone in her twenties, but this is also a benefit of her evolution into a High Human.
She came to Helios Orb at the age of 21, married the then-king three years later, and evolved into a High Human five years after that.
After becoming Queen, she supported the King along with her co-wives and worked to establish the Healer’s Guild with the aim of improving public health.
At the time, she declined the position of Grand Healer’s Master due to her status as Queen, and she still has no intention of taking it. However, I heard that the current Grand Healer’s Master is Sayuri’s direct disciple.
“I also wanted to see her again after so long.”
“I’m on the fence about it.”
Marina seems quite fond of her, while Ed appears to find her difficult.
Well, as they are both Crafters and have known the royal family for a long time, it would be strange if only Sayuri hadn’t met them.
“It’s doubtful whether she will return during your stay.”
“We don’t even know where she is right now.”
It’s said that Sayuri has a Hunter she’s close to who acts as her guard, but if she hears about an emergency patient, she’ll change her plans and head there, and she might even change her course on a whim, so her current whereabouts are truly unknown.
Well, I can understand the emergency patient part, but changing course on a whim… doesn’t that sound a bit dangerous?
“Even with a Hunter as her guard, didn’t you find it strange?”
“What was strange?”
“There’s no guard from the Order’s Guild. Even if she’s royalty, wouldn’t an Escort Order be appropriate?”
Ah, that’s right.
Emperor Reinhardt is still in provisional succession, but Sayuri is the Queen from three generations ago.
It’s completely out of the ordinary for the Order’s Guild not to dispatch guards for someone like her.
“The reason is that the Hunters who guard her are orphans whom my great-grandmother looked after since they were young, and because my great-grandmother herself possesses high combat capabilities, the need for guards is diminished.”
“Is that so?”
Lydia felt the same as I did.
It’s good that she looked after orphans, but what about her combat capabilities?
“My great-grandmother’s level is 58, and she has enough skill to register as a Hunter and be a Martial Artist even now.”
A Martial Artist, you say!
Well, considering the historical context of Sayuri’s birth, it should be around the time of the Third World War or so, so it’s not strange for her to know at least one self-defense technique.
After all, I heard that foreigners from the neighboring country were causing incidents almost every day.
And her level is 58, which is higher than the Grand Order’s Master.
Surely there aren’t many Hunters at that level either?
“Not only are there few, but there are none in Amister. Even in Helios Orb as a whole, there are only a few.”
Certainly, the ones who can definitely be considered higher are P-rank High Hunters.
I never imagined that a Healer and Crafter would be the highest level holder in Amister.
“In a real fight, the Hunters or Orders would likely win, though.”
“Well, given the difference in practical experience… no, considering her age, she must have accumulated a considerable amount of combat experience.”
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to evolve into a High Human.
We’re about to arrive at the Priests’ Guild. Mina and Flam might have been waiting for quite a while.
I can see they’re nervous, but I also see they’re happy.
I’m happy too.
“To be honest, I never thought I’d get married within a few days of meeting you.”
Mana shares her thoughts, and I can understand how she feels.
“That’s all there is to it. But you’ve caught a good man, so you must never let him go!”
“That’s right. It’s incredibly fortunate to be able to marry the person you love.”
Maruca and Elis say this while holding onto Emperor Reinhardt’s arm.
They’re radiating happiness, but we’re not about to be outdone!
“It’s a little embarrassing, but I’m happy to be able to marry both of you.”
The new royal couple creates a sweet atmosphere inside my beast carriage.
It’s wonderful that they have a good relationship, and I’m in no position to judge, but still, I feel like I’m going to overdose on sugar.
