Raus, who had a terrible time in Etrada, decided to evolve into a High Class out of sheer determination and actively hunted along the way, but unfortunately, he couldn’t evolve by the time we reached Dragunia.
Still, he’s level 42, so it’s only a matter of time.
However, he experienced the acute magic recoil syndrome, so he’ll have to rest for a while.
“Leave Raus’s acute magic recoil syndrome to me. I’ve heard all the details from Lady Sayuri, and if needed, Sir Yuri and Lady Apricot have also offered their support.”
Carole, the daughter of Count Bernstein, who became an S-rank Healer with the desire to help Raus and even came to Valentia, is also motivated.
When we returned to the beast carriage, we were already entangled with Drake Pain. As we rushed to help, we were captured by that Hydragonewt, and Rebecca, Carole, and Yuria were surrounded. Raus had no choice but to draw his weapon.
He defeated several of them, but the Hydragonewt was still a tough opponent, and with overwhelming numbers, Raus was beaten. However, it seems the Hydragonewt was distracted by Raus’s stolen sword, so Raus only ended up losing consciousness.
They were truly pathetic.
And five days after leaving Etrada, we finally saw the royal capital of Valentia.

The sun was already setting, but we finally made it.
Dragunia, the royal capital of the Valentian Dragon Kingdom, is located at the foot of Mount Wilness, the holy land of the Dragonians, overlooking the great Lake Wilm.
Although I can’t be sure from this distance, judging by what I can see, it doesn’t look all that different from the royal capital of Amister, Float.
“Finally. Well, we weren’t exactly bored, as we were working.”
“We managed to buy Adamantine Steel along the way, so we’ve made some Lapis Lazuli as well.”
“Yeah. The work went smoothly thanks to that.”
The three Crafters poked their heads out of their rooms, seeing that Dragunia was in sight.
We’re just lining up now, and there’s a decent line, so it’ll probably take some time.
These three were quite busy, not only refining Lapis Lazuli but also crafting Yuri’s short staff, Carole’s long staff, and her Armor Coat.
Yuri’s short staff has a staff body made of Lapis Lazuli, with magic stones for healing magic, water attribute magic, and spirit magic embedded in the tip. This allows it to be used not only for healing but also for combat.
Yuri has an aptitude for water attribute magic but no combat experience. Although I’ve let him use it a few times along the way, he said it significantly increased in power due to the Sky Serpent magic stone.
Spirit magic is one of the Bestowed Magics. It is said that one can contract with and command spirits, which is not greatly different from Summoning Magic or Familiar Magic. The difference is that spirits always stay close to their contractors and grow with their contractor’s mana.
Like Familiar Magic, only one spirit can be contracted with. However, Yuri was able to contract with a water spirit in the royal capital, so we decided to incorporate a spirit magic stone as well. He also mentioned that the spirit magic stone’s power is amplified due to its compatibility with the spirit.
Carole’s long staff is a concealed weapon, which can be used as a sword if drawn. The guard is like a tsuba on a sword, so it’s not ideal for blocking attacks, but the emphasis is more on its use as a staff. It’s also made of Lapis Lazuli and has magic stones for healing magic, wind attribute magic, and Tree Magic embedded in the tip. When used as a sword, the pommel becomes the grip, so it cannot be used for striking. Carole is also a Healer, but she learned swordsmanship as a hobby. When I suggested a concealed weapon, she seemed surprisingly compatible with it. I let Carole fight along the way, and she was able to use it properly, including wind attribute magic. Tree Magic is also one of the Bestowed Magics. This magic allows one to manipulate trees and plants, so it can be considered wood attribute magic. It can also accelerate the growth of trees and create simple traps by manipulating grass, making it very useful in grasslands or forests.
Carole’s Armor Coat, like Marina’s and Fiana’s, is open at the chest and has small armor pieces on the chest and shoulders. As a Healer, she doesn’t need heavy armor, and unless something extraordinary happens, she won’t be on the front lines, so minimal protection is sufficient. However, we decided on the design to ensure she could use it for a long time.
Currently, Ed and the others are working on Marisa’s axe and Viola’s Twin Swords. I’d like them to make Yuria’s sword and armor coat too, but Yuria is still in a trial period, so it will only be given to her after formal adoption. I think she’s good enough for formal adoption, as she’s gotten along well with Carole and Rebecca.
It’s not just Yuri and Carole, who are supposed to be Healers, but several others have also leveled up.

Yuri handed his Healer’s License and a letter to the gatekeeper. I followed suit and handed over my Union License. For situations like this, Emperor Reinhardt prepared a letter proving our identities, so we don’t need to present our identification all at once. We understand that they might be concerned about suspicious individuals, so it’s understandable that they’d want to inspect the inside of the beast carriage.

The captain came out, and as expected, he’s used to this.
“Yes. We’re currently having the beast carriage inspected, so we’ll proceed once everything is cleared.”

However, with a 30x Mirroring enchantment, it’s taking longer than usual.
“S-Sorry. Ah, Captain…”
“You’re late. It shouldn’t take that long, should it?”
“N-No, it’s wider than I thought…”
“It’s designed to be that way. Are we good now?”

In the city of Helios Orb, regulations require all entrants, even royalty, to have their identification checked. While the Library cannot be forged, some people are still reluctant to inspect the Libraries of royalty or nobles, so it’s not impossible for counterfeit ones to appear by exploiting this. Therefore, even with a letter from the King, confirming the Library or License is always required. However, with only two people needing to present them, the process is significantly shortened. This time, Yuri, the princess of Amister, and I, an O-Rank Order of Amister, were the ones presenting.
