I never expected to be told such things right after registering as a Crafter.
It’s true that I proposed Jade Silver and Blue-Gray Iron, but they were originally created by Ed when he thought about saving Magic Power during the process of making Lapis Laz.
As for Melting, I only advised him to try combining the Craft Magic “Deforming” with fire magic, but it was Ed who actually thought it through and presented it.
Stuttering and Ee-quipping were presented with the casual thought of “I wish this were possible,” so I just considered myself lucky.
Yet, these were approved, and not only was I promoted to G-rank, but the promotion test to P-rank was also waived. Isn’t this a bit too generous, too much?
Well, I’m grateful because the exam studies are a pain.
“Tomorrow, Yuri, Rika, Athena, and I have a meeting with the Provincial Governor. What about everyone else?” Mana asked if we had any plans for tomorrow while we were moving to Rika’s mansion in the Beast Carriage.
Rika is the Provincial Governor, and she’s been away from Feel for nearly a month, so of course she has things to discuss. I understand Mana and Yuri also have things to do since they’ll be living in Feel after marrying and getting engaged to me. Athena is also engaged to me, but as a Dragonian and the daughter of the Holy Mother Dragon Gaia, it’s unavoidable that she’ll have things to sort out too.
“I just registered as a Crafter, so I’ll be studying for the exam.”
“Raus and I plan to hunt nearby with Carol-san to test our evolved senses.”
“And speaking of which, I’ve decided to register as a Hunter too.”
Flam will be studying to be a Crafter, and Raus and Rebecca will be hunting after Carol registers as a Hunter to test their evolved senses.
“Since my brother just got married, I’m thinking of going to congratulate him again.”
Mina will be congratulating Rex, Rosemary, and Muse. She probably won’t overstay her welcome with the newlyweds, but Rosemary has always doted on Mina like a younger sister, and Muse is now her sister-in-law, so she won’t be turned away. Marisa, Viola, Yuria, and Eos, by the way, are scheduled to go to Feel’s Butler’s Guild. Yuria, a C-rank Butler, especially needs to re-register in Feel, otherwise, she’ll have to go to Float every time she needs to renew her contract.
“I’ll be making swords for the Order’s Masters.”

“I’ll be studying the G-rank textbooks. I never expected to reach G-S rank, so I haven’t done any preparatory study.”
Ed and Fiana are working on their usual projects, but Marina is studying. I feel like I should at least study for the exam, but I also want to visit the Treasure Tree in Mylight.
“I don’t have any particular plans, so I’ll accompany Yamato.”
“Me too. I’m curious about what it’s like.”

Prim, Lydia, and Ludia have no specific plans. I don’t know what the summit of Mylight is like, but I feel like these four can handle anything.
“Then, we’ll go to Mylight.”
“Understood.”
“I’m envious, but it’s supposed to be helpful for Rika’s marriage, so it’s better to get it early.”
Not just Mana, but Yuri, Rika, Mina, and Flam also look envious. Athena doesn’t show it, but she seems curious.
“Please tell us what it was like when you get back.”
“Yeah.”
Raus also seems interested. However, it’s important to know one’s current strength, and that’s probably why they chose to hunt nearby.
“We’ll be using Jade and Fluorite for transportation.”
“That’s right. It’s been a while since we’ve been to Mylight, so they’ll probably be happy to fly.”
Both Jade and Fluorite are from Mylight. Besides, recently, we’ve been transported by Athena and Eos with the Beast Carriage, so they haven’t had many opportunities to fly with us. They seemed lonely, so they’ll probably be happy this time.
“About tomorrow, you can use my mansion as a base if you’d like.” Rika said so, but even though I’m her fiancé, it’s probably not appropriate for a Hunter to use the Provincial Governor’s mansion as a base. That’s why, starting tomorrow night, we’ll be staying at the Magic Silver Inn as we did before. Prim’s mother, Apricot, will be joining us this time.

I agree with Prim and Mana’s opinions. It will naturally be a matter of building a house, and we’ll have to decide what kind of house it will be. Since it won’t be built in a few days, we’ll be staying at an inn for a while.
“There’s no need to rush things; it’s not something to be forced.”
“That’s right. Also, we need to consider whether or not to set up a shop.”

A shop. My idea for the Union House is to have individual rooms for everyone, of course, but also a dining hall and workshops. However, our current income is solely from hunting, which isn’t ideal. Fortunately, Marina is registered as a Trader. Perhaps it would be good to have a shop attached and sell Magic Stones, monster materials, and Arms and Armor. Of course, we’ll have to figure out what to do about the Arms and Armor. If we could also make and sell daily necessities and magic tools, I think they would sell well, but there’s also the issue of the scope of what we’ll offer, so there’s still a lot to consider.

That’s true. Ed’s skill is undeniable, but since he has less experience than his Master and grandfather Richard, and his senior brother Talos, the Arms and Armor he makes inevitably fall short compared to theirs. Of course, compared to them, he can still make Arms and Armor with better performance than average.
“In that case, it might be better to not set up a shop and just deliver to the Trader’s Guild.”

If I adopt Mana’s suggestion, Mana will also register as a Trader. Marina is the only Trader in Wing Crest, but the reason she registered as a Trader was for fishing, so she doesn’t plan to actively engage in business. However, if we’re to deliver our creations to the Trader’s Guild, we’ll have to rely on Marina, the Trader, and her work time will be significantly reduced. Marina is supposed to make coats for me using Dragoon fabrics. If that happens, it’s uncertain when Athena’s, Eos’s, and Yuria’s coats will be finished. Most importantly, due to Magic Power issues, I and Prim, whose Armor Coats are starting to deteriorate, will have to continue limiting our Magic Power. This is a very bad situation. Therefore, Mana will register as a Trader and handle negotiations with the Trader’s Guild in Marina’s place.

“But Prim-onee-sama is also struggling with whether to register as a Healer or not, aren’t you?”
“That’s right. Fortunately, Yuri and Carol are Healers, but if they use healing magic on us, it drains a lot of their Magic Power, right? Also, depending on the location, we can’t always bring them along, so I’m thinking it might be better for me to register as a Healer too.”
Prim is also considering registering with the Union, but she’s torn between the Healer’s Guild and the Trader’s Guild. The reason is as Prim mentioned. Yuri and Carol are Healers. Carol also plans to register as a Hunter, but using high-class healing magic consumes a considerable amount of Magic Power. Of course, it can’t be helped in emergencies, but if Carol, who is becoming a Hunter, consumes Magic Power, it could be life-threatening. Yuri, despite leveling up in Valentia, has the least combat experience, so she can’t be accompanied to dangerous areas, and it would be difficult to bring her out in an emergency. However, if Prim registers as a Healer, these various problems can be resolved. As an Ancient Foxy, she has abundant Magic Power and high combat ability, so she wouldn’t be bothered by minor dangerous areas. I don’t intend to send Prim alone to such places, but with Fluorite, they also have mobility, so the Healer’s Guild would surely welcome her.
“There’s no point in rushing to a decision.”
“That’s true. Besides, I was also thinking about registering as a Trader.”
Lydia was also thinking of registering as a Trader. However, since both Mana and Lydia are primarily Hunters, they can’t be put in charge of a shop. The three Crafters have their work, and the four Butlers will be in charge of managing the Union House, so they won’t have time for a shop. Hiring shop staff is an option, but in that case, they would be dispatched from the Trader’s Guild, making the point of having a shop moot. Of course, we could hire them normally, but that would mean we wouldn’t receive support from the Trader’s Guild, which could cause problems in some situations. This really needs careful consideration.

“That’s right. Moreover, we have to consider the familiar spirits too. I think we should scout the location first and then decide on the shop, don’t you think?”
Raus and Rebecca are right. We intend to let the familiar spirits and summoned beasts – Jade, Fluorite, Breeze, Luna, Spica, and Sirius – roam freely within the grounds of the Union House. Furthermore, we plan for Apricot to live in the Union House, so Honest will join her there. Everyone else will likely sign familiar contracts too, so we’ll need a large plot of land. This might be more important than the shop issue.
“There’s no need to hurry, so let’s think about it slowly.”
“Yeah. Let’s get the Beast Carriage sorted out first.”
Ultimately, that’s the only conclusion we can reach. The Beast Carriage is essential for travel, so we want to start production as soon as possible. We received advice from Laberna, and based on that, we should be able to redesign it in a few days. We need to properly redesign it once we arrive at Rika’s mansion.
