Helios Orb Chronicle – Chapter 82

We were summoned to Marquis Frederica’s mansion again after defeating the Abyss Taurus, but this time we were released quite quickly.

However, they were indeed surprised that Prim had evolved into an Ancient Foxy.

More than that, Marquis Frederica…

“I have obtained Princess Yuriana’s permission. I would like to have your children, would that be alright?”

She asked me with a straight face, which left me completely at a loss for words.

Prim and the others said they didn’t mind if that was what I wanted, but that also gave me a headache.

For now, I told her that even though the term “single mother” is the same, its meaning is the opposite on Earth and Helios Orb, and I asked for time to sort out my feelings. But I truly don’t know what to do.

I remember hearing about a Hunter in Libertà who married all the members of his Raid party and made many other women into single mothers. I really want to hear his advice.

Putting that aside, it’s ultimately my problem. Since I’ve decided to live on Helios Orb, I feel like I have to come to some sort of understanding with myself.

“Just do it. There’s also the matter of an heir, and if you’re really concerned, you can get married after the child inherits the family headship.”

Prim told me something similar, so I’ll have to give her an answer soon.

Actually, the idea of getting married after the child inherits the family headship hadn’t occurred to me.

And so, we came to the Albert Workshop. We weren’t just here to hang out.

I’m curious about the progress of the weapons, so I’ve been coming here every other day recently.

I don’t mean to rush them, but I just can’t help but be concerned.

“Today, I have good news. It seems Grandpa has grasped the manufacturing method of something called a Japanese sword, so it should be ready by the time we go to the Royal Capital.”

That is indeed good news.

There are still more than ten days until we go to the Royal Capital, so it’s extremely helpful that it will be ready by then.

Of course, the prototype Jade Silver Alloy Sword I’m currently using is a good sword. Even today, after defeating the Abyss Taurus, I felt no magic degradation or stagnation. On the contrary, even minor nicks healed without issue, proving it can be used without problems by Ancient Classes.

“I see. But still, I’d like to get some general High Class opinions.”

However, Ed mentioned that since I and Prim are special cases, we serve as references but are not subjects for evaluation.

I’m an Ancient Human, and Prim has evolved into an Ancient Foxy, so it’s a bit frustrating that there’s nothing I can say.

“In that case, why not ask the Holy Grave?”

“That’s right. Three of them use Magic Silver and two use Adamantine Steel, so it would be a good balance.”

Ludia and Flam suggested asking the Holy Grave to evaluate the alloys, and it does seem like a good idea.

Especially since we haven’t used Blue-Gray Iron at all, so we don’t know how it would perform. Since the weapons used by the Holy Grave members are all different, it should be easier for them to evaluate.

“That’s a good idea. Besides, the Holy Grave is a Raid party that Mana is friendly with, so they are trustworthy. We can’t handle it ourselves, but we can leave it to the Crafter’s Guild.”

Indeed, Ed and Richard-san don’t need to handle it.

Also, the Crafter’s Guild would probably want to try them out themselves.

Currently, we only have ingots of Jade Silver and Blue-Gray Iron prepared, and they are strictly managed, so I heard they can’t be used without permission.

“In that case, should we go to the Crafter’s Guild later?”

“Let’s do that. Oh, but before that, I wanted to ask, can we use Winger Drake leather for the coats for me, Marina, and Fiana as well?”

“Of course. We should still have enough stock, so there shouldn’t be any shortage.”

The Crest Armor Coat that we are wearing is the standard equipment for the Union.

Therefore, we are also making sets for the Crafters Ed, Marina, and Fiana. However, the stock of Winger Drake leather is becoming scarce, so Ed is checking on it.

“We have enough stock, but we don’t know how much more we’ll need.”

Marina says something like that, but I think once we finish making yours, we won’t need it for a while?

“It’s almost decided that Sir Yuri will be joining the Wing Crest, right?”

“Ah, well, that’s true, but does that mean it won’t be enough?”

“No, that’s not it. When we go to the Royal Capital, Yamato will probably get more women, and Raus has a high chance of doing the same, so we want to have some extra in stock.”

I can’t let that comment slide, but I agree with the idea of having extra stock.

Since I am an Ancient Human, I am told there is a high probability that nobles will try to approach me when I go to the Royal Capital.

It might decrease once my relationship with Princess Yuriana is solidified, but they say it won’t disappear completely.

However, in a way, Raus is expected to be even more popular than me.

Raus is considered my disciple, and he’s already nearing level 30 despite being only 13 years old, so his future potential is very high.

Prim wasn’t level 30 when she was 13, and everyone who surpassed level 30 before adulthood has reached P-rank or higher, so it’s clear how remarkable this is.

Furthermore, we share the same Raid, which creates connections with me. And since his only lover is Rebecca, he appears to be a very desirable prospect to nobles.

Speaking of which, I wonder if he leveled up again during today’s Skydive Shark hunt.

Shall I ask him?

“Raus, did you level up today?”

“Huh? Uh, well… yes, I reached level 30.”

Not level 30, but he reached level 30.

It seems everyone else also leveled up by one.

Prim also reached level 63 and was able to evolve further, but I feel like the pace will slow down from now on.

I also reached level 66, but it’s been a while since I leveled up.

“Ah, right. Yamato, can I borrow the Engraving Tool?”

Marina suddenly said that.

What does she want to look at this time?

“It’s fine, but what kind of weapon or armor is it this time?”

“It’s not that. I want to know the color of Yamato’s world.”

Color?

Ed is also tilting his head. The color of my world and the color of Helios Orb should mean the same thing, right?

“Ah, sorry. I didn’t explain enough. Actually, it seems that coloring can be linked to the Statering, and you can even register the colors you’ve used.”

Color registration means that instead of dyeing based on my own senses or using a sample, I can now read out colors registered in the Statering? This would significantly reduce the effort, is that what it means?

“Exactly!”

She seems happy.

It also seems like there are many colors that can be registered, so even colors I’ve never used or seen before can be used if they are recorded. That’s certainly convenient.

Even though I suggested it myself, isn’t this an incredibly broken magic?

“Understood. However, there are limits to the colors you can see with the Engraving Tool, and the names are also from my world, but is that okay?”

The color names recorded on my Engraving Tool often include Japanese names.

“It’s fine. It seems I can register them with names I find easy to understand, so on the contrary, I would appreciate that.”

Speaking of which, the category names for Ee-quipping can also be changed.

I’ve registered the prototype Jade Silver Alloy Sword, Crest Armor Coat, Leather Gloves, and Mithril Sollerets under Category 1. Maybe I should think of something too.

It’s a bit late now, but our Crest Armor Coats are made from Winger Drake leather. The basic design is a knee-length long coat, but the armor is customized to individual preferences, so they look like different items at first glance.

For men, trousers are standard, and for women, skirts are standard. These are also made from Winger Drake leather, of course.

My Armor Coat is indigo blue and equipped with armor covering my chest to abdomen, and large pauldrons.

I considered not covering my abdomen with armor because it looks like actual armor, but I gave up because it would look odd in the overall design. But I like it this way. I also had my trousers covered with Jade Silver on the thighs.

Prim’s Armor Coat is scarlet, and her pauldrons are designed to resemble wings. Unlike mine, her breastplate only covers her chest, but in exchange, she has skirt-like armor around her waist. The wings, which are a symbol of the Winged Tribe, are created with magic, so there are no slits for wings. However, Prim says she can clearly feel them growing from her back, specifically around her shoulder blades. The skirt is knee-length and predominantly white, with no armor on it.

Flam likes Tsuyukusa-iro, a bright light blue color named after the Tsuyukusa flower, and her Armor Coat is dyed this color. She has a belt that can hold two quivers, including spares, at her waist, as befits an archer. Her left pauldron is large and covers her upper arm and left chest, designed for assuming an archery stance. Her right pauldron is smaller, but still covers her right chest, serving as a breastplate. Her skirt is a long skirt reaching mid-shin and is a deep navy color.

Although not present, I will introduce Mina’s Armor Coat. It is based on Shirayuriiro, a slightly yellowish white. The pauldrons are attached in a knight-like design but are only the minimum necessary size. The breastplate covers her abdomen to her waist, making her appearance completely like armor. Her skirt is also dyed Shirayuriiro and is knee-length, making her look like a beautiful white knight.

Lydia chose Shiraiiro, a pale light blue. Her armor consists only of pauldrons and a breastplate designed not to impede movement, making her look quite agile. Her skirt is knee-length and a slightly darker shade.

The color Rudia chose is Ginshu-iro. Her breastplate and pauldrons are even smaller than Lydia’s, but she also has armor around her waist. Her skirt is a culotte skirt that reaches mid-thigh and is integrated with leggings, allowing her to use her Fighting Tools with confidence.

Raus’s Armor Coat is heavily armored, second only to Mina’s, but its design is completely opposite. The armor is adorned with Winger Drake fangs and claws throughout, giving it a spiky appearance. Combined with its Konkikyou-iro color, it looks most like a dark knight.

Lastly, Rebecca’s Coral-colored Armor Coat, unlike Flam’s, is symmetrical except for the breastplate. Her breastplate features a design of Feather Drake wings, with the left side being larger and the right side smaller. The pauldrons are minimal in size so as not to interfere when she assumes an archery stance. Furthermore, her quivers are worn on her back to avoid getting in the way in close combat.

After that, I ended up spending the rest of the day with Marina, helping her with her color settings, and I was surprised by the sheer variety. Marina was very pleased as she could register almost 100 colors, and I found it quite interesting as well.
