Chapter 105: No Title Wanted
Leng Qing Qiu gently pushed away the girl who was grinding against her and looked at the curly-haired, red-haired thug.
Noticing Leng Qing Qiu’s gaze, the man grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth, his cloudy eyes showing a hint of smugness, which made Leng Qing Qiu feel physically uncomfortable.
“…It’s really hot…”
Beside Leng Qing Qiu, Lu Zhiyin was still complaining. Sweat poured down her body. Although she felt extremely hot and her consciousness was a bit hazy, her remaining instincts prevented her from taking off her school uniform here.
Lu Zhiyin just kept complaining, grabbing Leng Qing Qiu’s cup of orange juice. As she drank, she cast a somewhat resentful glance at Leng Qing Qiu.
How she wished… to be close to Leng Qing Qiu. It was so hot, and Leng Qing Qiu felt cool and comfortable to the touch.
Her muddled mind was filled with fragmented, chaotic thoughts.
Leng Qing Qiu couldn’t tend to Lu Zhiyin for the moment. Nor did she know that Lu Zhiyin had drunk another cup of drugged juice when she wasn’t looking.
Leng Qing Qiu just stared intently at the thug, her fists clenching tighter and tighter.
“Now, what should I do? Should I let him go for now and take Lu Zhiyin home, or…”
Her eyes darted back and forth. Leng Qing Qiu couldn’t swallow this insult.
She didn’t intend to let the thug off so easily. As she had said before, she wouldn’t provoke trouble, but she also wouldn’t truly fear it.
It should be known that Lu Zhiyin was certainly not the only target of the drugging; she herself was probably included.
After much thought, Leng Qing Qiu finally decided to beat the guy up soundly first, and then take his life after she had settled Lu Zhiyin.
Thinking this, Leng Qing Qiu stood up. She slowly walked towards the red-haired thug.
“You…”
Seeing Leng Qing Qiu approaching, and Lu Zhiyin in the wheelchair, holding a glass and trying to find water from the empty cup, the thug thought Leng Qing Qiu was coming to ask for an antidote. Just as he was about to state his terms, Leng Qing Qiu delivered a solid punch.
Leng Qing Qiu’s punch was heavy. She was already quite strong, and this punch carried the full force of her rage. With just one punch, the thug flew back, rolled across the table, and fell to the ground.
Bottles on the table scattered, and alcohol splashed everywhere.
“Tsk… scum.”
Wiping the bloodstains from her fist, Leng Qing Qiu looked up. Two of the man’s teeth were still on the table.
The teeth were jagged and truly disgusting.
The thug’s friends reacted a while later, picking up bottles and throwing them at Leng Qing Qiu. But Leng Qing Qiu dodged all the attacks, using simple punches and kicks to knock them all to the ground.
Originally, no one paid much attention when she was just fighting the red-haired thug. But now that she had also dealt with his friends, the wails of four people became quite noticeable.
The thugs busy with the dancers in the front half of the hall were too lazy to join the fray, but the thugs in the back half of the hall rushed forward.
They surrounded Leng Qing Qiu, watching the thugs rolling on the ground, clutching various vulnerable parts of their bodies. Then they looked at Leng Qing Qiu. The vast majority felt a surge of fear.
Thugs often got into fights, but it was rare to see one person take down several others with their bare hands.
Leng Qing Qiu usually didn’t interact with these thugs, so they didn’t know she was such a skilled fighter at school.
Seeing the mess, most of them decided not to bother Leng Qing Qiu unless absolutely necessary.
As for those Leng Qing Qiu had beaten down, the thugs belonged to different gangs, and basically no one would step up for them.
“…”
Leng Qing Qiu glanced at the surging thugs and walked silently to the red-haired thug, who was lying on the ground like a dead dog.
The man seemed to have already fainted, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, and a tooth lay scattered on the ground beside him.
It seemed that the punch had knocked out more than two teeth. This man was likely disfigured.
However, Leng Qing Qiu didn’t think disfigurement would affect this person. In any case, he would be dead soon enough.
“Pah, trash. Who gave you the guts to drug people?”
Spitting at the still unconscious thug, Leng Qing Qiu kicked him hard in the groin.
Judging by the man’s contorted face even in his unconscious state, his private parts were likely not feeling too good.
And upon hearing that the man was beaten for trying to drug Leng Qing Qiu, the surrounding thugs silently took note. In the future, they would be extremely cautious when drugging young girls, lest they encounter someone like Leng Qing Qiu and bring great misfortune upon themselves.
“…”
Glancing at the whispering thugs around her, Leng Qing Qiu ignored their thoughts. She bent down, took off the thug’s jacket, and found a veterinary tranquilizer and the man’s ID card in his pocket.
After noting the address on the ID card, Leng Qing Qiu poured the rest of the tranquilizer pack into the man’s mouth.
Having done this, Leng Qing Qiu began to worry about Lu Zhiyin again. Using a veterinary drug on a human, she didn’t know what would happen to her later.
Feeling somewhat worried, Leng Qing Qiu walked back to her seat. The surrounding thugs wisely moved away.
As Leng Qing Qiu left, Qin An approached Lu Zhiyin.
“She’s been drugged?”
Looking at Lu Zhiyin, whose skin was slightly flushed, her body writhing, and who kept calling out that she was hot, Qin An frowned.
She knew this girl would end up in trouble coming here. The thugs had far more ways of bullying people than she, Qin An, did.
Shaking her head, Qin An asked the waiter for a bottle of ice water and casually placed it in front of Lu Zhiyin.
“Thank… thank you…”
Grabbing the ice water immediately, Lu Zhiyin stammered her thanks intermittently. She opened the lid with some difficulty, then drank the water while thanking her haltingly.
Qin An did not reply. She simply looked at the girl she had often bullied.
Could she still recognize her now? She didn’t know.
In the past, she wouldn’t have thought so much, nor would she have offered even a drop of water to the person in front of her.
Shaking her head, Qin An thought that her father’s words had really hit her quite hard.
She began to wonder if she should try to change, to become more proper, to be as polite and upright as the children of high-ranking officials of her age.
The answer was no. Since her father didn’t like her, she was too lazy to try and please that man anymore.
Turning and walking back to her seat, Qin An cast one last look at Lu Zhiyin before leaving.
The girl’s red eyes had turned into pools of spring water due to lust. The hair on her forehead clung to her cheeks from sweat, making her look disheveled yet beautiful.
Recalling carefully, Qin An seemed to have caught a faint fragrance when she approached the girl. That was probably an illusion.
“Ah… Leng Qing Qiu, you’re back… I feel so uncomfortable… can I hug you? Please…”
As soon as she returned to her seat, Lu Zhiyin’s voice reached her ears.
Qin An turned her head. What greeted her eyes was the girl who had put the water aside and opened her arms to Leng Qing Qiu.
The music in the hall was still loud. Lu Zhiyin’s voice wasn’t loud, and from afar, Qin An could only vaguely hear her voice.
Was this a request for intimacy? Qin An didn’t understand these things. She just felt inexplicably uncomfortable.
“Why is she looking for me like this?”
She continued to ponder this question, and she probably wouldn’t get an answer anytime soon.
