Chapter 6: Blocked by Qin An (Additional Update 2)
Lu Zhiyin slept soundly, perhaps because someone was holding her.
She didn’t dream of deities, nor did she dream of the man she killed coming to claim her life.
“Yawn~”
With a yawn, Leng Qing Qiu also woke up from her dream. She gently released Lu Zhiyin from her embrace and got up to wash herself.
Lu Zhiyin could only stay on the bed as she didn’t have a wheelchair.
When Leng Qing Qiu returned to the bedroom after washing up, she felt her school uniform pocket, took out two banknotes, and handed them to Lu Zhiyin.
“Here, the reward for killing that thug yesterday.”
Actually, she just felt Lu Zhiyin was short on money, so she gave her some.

Lu Zhiyin accepted the money with a bit of apprehension, without saying thank you.
Seeing Lu Zhiyin accept the money, Leng Qing Qiu carried her out of the bedroom. It was then that she remembered Lu Zhiyin’s wheelchair was still in the basement.

She quickly got out of bed and brought Lu Zhiyin’s wheelchair out of the basement.
The blood-stained wheelchair was placed in the center of the living room.
Lu Zhiyin, sitting on the sofa, and Leng Qing Qiu, standing at the bedroom door, both stared at the wheelchair for a brief moment.
“Tsk… So much blood, what a hassle.”
Leng Qing Qiu pressed her forehead with her hand.
It would take a lot of time to clean all the blood.
“How about we don’t use the wheelchair today? I’ll carry you to school?”
This was, of course, a joke. Leng Qing Qiu knew Lu Zhiyin wouldn’t agree. Of course, if Lu Zhiyin wanted to be carried to school by her, she wouldn’t be against it.

After thinking about how others would talk about her if they saw her being carried, Lu Zhiyin dared not imagine it.

As Leng Qing Qiu and Lu Zhiyin were leaving, Qin An was leaving the apartment she had recently bought near the school.

With a yawn, she walked downstairs. She wasn’t in a hurry to go to the school across the street but went to a breakfast shop not far from the school first.
Her mind had been very chaotic these past two days, partly because of her father, and partly because of that little cripple she always bullied.
She still couldn’t understand why that person had come to find her. She hadn’t seen that person at school the next day.
That day at the bar, after Leng Qing Qiu and Lu Zhiyin left, Qin An went to check on the thug who had drugged Lu Zhiyin.
Qin An didn’t have any impression of that person initially. He was one of the unknown figures near the school. However, the farce that happened that day made Qin An remember the man’s face.
If people found out she drugged someone while paying, they would probably think Qin An was a despicable and shameless person.
Qin An admitted she was a bully who preyed on the weak, but she didn’t resort to vile methods like drugging.
She decided to find that thug when she had time and beat him up to let him know who was the boss of this area. However, when Qin An went to the places the thug frequented yesterday, she didn’t see even a shadow of him.
The people who usually hung out with that Red-haired thug also said they hadn’t seen him.
This made Qin An a bit angry.
She decided that if she saw Lu Zhiyin today, she would definitely beat her up.
Well, there wasn’t actually any connection in between. She just simply wanted to beat up Lu Zhiyin.
Drinking alcohol didn’t make her feel even a little bit better. Only when she was drunk could she forget some things. Once she sobered up, all her troubles returned.
“Boss, two servings of steamed buns.”
As soon as she spoke, the owner of the breakfast shop didn’t reply but silently packed two baskets of buns. Qin An also paid.
Carrying the buns, Qin An was about to walk towards the school when her peripheral vision caught sight of the white-haired girl sitting in a wheelchair not far away.
It was Lu Zhiyin.
Leng Qing Qiu, who had easily knocked down a bunch of thugs last time, was following behind Lu Zhiyin, pushing the wheelchair.
Intrigued, Qin An decided to ask that person why she went to the bar to look for her. She stopped walking and sat on a stone stool in front of the breakfast shop.
Her slouching posture was no different from a boy’s; she was clearly a tomboy.
“Qin… Qin An?”
Seeing Qin An sitting on the stone stool from afar, Lu Zhiyin’s body stiffened. She felt the banknotes in her pocket.
Leng Qing Qiu behind her also noticed Qin An, but Leng Qing Qiu had no intention of taking a detour.
It was indeed getting late, and taking a detour would guarantee they would be late.
“Hoo…”
Taking a deep breath, Lu Zhiyin, who had been a bit nervous, tried to calm herself down.
She forced herself to act as if nothing was wrong.
When the wheelchair was pushed in front of the breakfast shop, Lu Zhiyin temporarily ignored the blonde girl who was munching on steamed buns.
“Boss, two servings of fried dough sticks, one carton of milk.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Lu Zhiyin handed a banknote to the breakfast shop owner.
Yin the time it took for the owner to return the change, Qin An stood up. She nonchalantly walked to Lu Zhiyin’s side and grabbed Lu Zhiyin’s hand.
“…Ah… Good, good morning.”
Startled slightly, Lu Zhiyin then pretended to be nonchalant and greeted Qin An.
Her acting skills were not very good to begin with, and with the deep psychological shadow Qin An cast on her, it was even worse.
“Heh…”
Looking at the girl trembling like a sieve in a comical manner, Qin An sneered.
“I say, why did you come to the bar to find me the day before yesterday?”
Not wanting to waste time on pleasantries, Qin An got straight to the point. Her tone wasn’t exactly good, but it wasn’t too bad either; at least she didn’t start by insulting her family.
Compared to the thugs spewing obscenities and dirty jokes she witnessed at the bar that day, Lu Zhiyin actually found Qin An’s manners to be better? Perhaps good qualities were only apparent in comparison.
“Hey, I’m asking you, little cripple.”
Her tone turning unfriendly, Qin An snapped Lu Zhiyin out of her daze, squinting her eyes as she scanned the white-haired girl in front of her.
Looking timid and docile like a quail, she was somewhat… cute? Qin An hadn’t expected such a thought to cross her mind.
“Gulp… It’s nothing. I just felt that your state was a bit off and was curious about what happened to you…”
Shrinking back, Lu Zhiyin tried to retreat, but unfortunately, the back of her wheelchair was behind her, leaving her with nowhere to go.
