Chapter 34: Long Qinxin wants to take her to meet her parents?
When Lu Zhiyin returned to the bedroom and got back into bed, her forearm was grabbed.
The warm touch from her arm made her feel uneasy, but thinking that she hadn’t done anything deceitful, Lu Zhiyin felt relieved.
She turned her head, and what greeted her eyes were Long Qinxin’s bright eyes in the darkness.
Long Qinxin stared at her intently, saying nothing, as if questioning her whereabouts just now.
“My dear, you’re awake so early. Why don’t you sleep a bit more?”
Lu Zhiyin turned over and hugged Long Qinxin. Her address became more intimate, as if nothing had happened, and she had just gotten up in the middle of the night.
“…”
The overly sweet address made Long Qinxin daze for a moment. She hugged Lu Zhiyin tighter and nuzzled her forehead.
“I’d like to sleep, but I’m afraid you’ll leave me, so I woke up.”
Long Qinxin said this. Since Lu Zhiyin had made her address more intimate, Long Qinxin no longer had any reservations.
She hugged Lu Zhiyin’s neck, stroking the back of her head. Her fingertips gently sank into the girl’s fluffy hair, pressing slightly as if wanting to melt Lu Zhiyin into her body.
“…I won’t leave.”
Lu Zhiyin felt a bit uncomfortable with the touch on the back of her head. She raised her hand and showed Long Qinxin her ring finger with the ring on it.
In the darkness, Long Qinxin’s vision was not clear.
She looked at the outline of the ring, touched its edge, and turned on the dim night light. After seeing the ring clearly, Long Qinxin, still insatiably, kissed the small ring.
Her heart was still restless.
When she woke up from her dream and saw an empty bedroom with only herself in it, her heart felt as if a piece was missing. In her daze, she seemed to have returned to the days when she was alone.
She was very scared.
“If you’re scared, you can handcuff me? Then you won’t have to worry anymore.”
Gently comforting Long Qinxin, Lu Zhiyin touched her face.
She naturally didn’t want to be handcuffed, but she had figured out Long Qinxin’s nature. No matter how twisted she appeared, her inside was always soft.
If she allowed herself to be handcuffed, she would probably be released soon. But if she deceived her and was handcuffed by her as a form of punishment, then it would be over.
“…Mm… Sorry.”
Nodding, Long Qinxin sincerely apologized and then took out a pair of handcuffs from the nightstand, cuffing herself and Lu Zhiyin together.
Looking at the silver-white handcuffs linking the two of them, Long Qinxin finally felt completely at ease.
She hadn’t slept much, and her mind was still a bit tired. After hugging Lu Zhiyin in her arms again, she fell asleep shortly after.
Lu Zhiyin, on the other hand, still couldn’t sleep easily. She tossed and turned in Long Qinxin’s arms, the handcuffs on her wrists jingling again and again, her mind full of Qin An having changed her.
She kept rolling around like this until it was almost dawn, when she finally fell into a light sleep.
Before she could enter deep sleep, she was woken up by the awakened Long Qinxin.
When she was woken up, she was still tired, but it was already nine in the morning.
After exchanging good morning greetings, Long Qinxin took her to the living room to have breakfast together.
There wasn’t much communication during breakfast, which was understandable. Lu Zhiyin could probably guess Long Qinxin’s current mood, which was a mix of guilt and dissatisfaction. Guilt for handcuffing her, her wife, and dissatisfaction for her leaving without permission.
After breakfast, Long Qinxin sat on the sofa for a long time until it was almost noon, when she finally unlocked the handcuffs.
“Hoo…”
With a sigh of relief, Lu Zhiyin lowered her gaze. If Long Qinxin hadn’t taken off the handcuffs herself, she wouldn’t have known how to bring it up.
She moved her wrists, and before Lu Zhiyin could fully relax, Long Qinxin collapsed onto her, resting her head on her thigh.
“I want to take you home to meet my parents.”
To be honest, Long Qinxin was unsure if Lu Zhiyin could accept her family.
Her parents, due to an accident a long time ago… had become very hideous, not like humans, but like monsters.
Long Qinxin didn’t want to say this about her parents, but it was indeed an irrefutable fact.
However, since they had to meet eventually, Long Qinxin could only hope that Lu Zhiyin wouldn’t dislike her family.
She probably hadn’t shown Lu Zhiyin photos of her parents before, and she hadn’t had this idea either.
Fearing that her parents would frighten Lu Zhiyin, Long Qinxin decided to prepare her wife psychologically in advance.
“Um, my parents might look a bit scary due to an accident.”
Due to her deep-seated inferiority complex, Long Qinxin’s voice was very quiet, and her tone was a bit soft, as if she would never bring Lu Zhiyin home if Lu Zhiyin refused.
It wasn’t that Long Qinxin didn’t love her parents, but she didn’t want the person she loved to leave her because of others she loved. Whether it was her parents or Lu Zhiyin, they were undoubtedly important to Long Qinxin. Rather than disrupting their relationship because of some sudden idea, it would be better to never meet.
“Mm… but don’t worry, although they look scary, they are very kind inside. It’ll be fine, mm, don’t worry.”
Trying to persuade her, she tried to get Lu Zhiyin to agree to go home with her. The reason for her persistence in taking Lu Zhiyin to meet her parents was probably because Lu Zhiyin’s sudden departure last night had made her afraid.
She wanted their relationship to be more like a normal couple. Which couple wouldn’t let their parents know after getting married? There probably aren’t any.
“…”
Lu Zhiyin remained silent, swallowing. She had no specific knowledge of Long Qinxin’s parents’ appearance, only having seen brief text descriptions.
It was an encounter event that would occasionally trigger when the game protagonist was kidnapped by Long Qinxin, and it seemed not very friendly to the protagonist.
A hint of hesitation flickered across Lu Zhiyin’s face, which Long Qinxin noticed.
“If you’re really scared, you don’t have to go?”
Long Qinxin didn’t want to make Lu Zhiyin feel troubled.
Reaching into her pocket, Long Qinxin took out her phone and found photos of her parents.
“It’s just that their skin is a bit too pale, and other than that… there’s not much, right?”
She showed Lu Zhiyin the photos on her phone.
These photos were taken a long time ago. Her parents’ current condition was much less optimistic than in the photos, and Long Qinxin knew this. However, she truly didn’t have any more photos of her parents on her phone.
Speaking of which, in order to take care of Lu Zhiyin, she hadn’t been back to that desolate home for several months.
Her parents… should be fine. After all, they were adults.
Thinking this, Long Qinxin turned her expectant gaze back to Lu Zhiyin.
