Chapter 6 What Is This Thing
The bedroom where Qin Liu was located was a single room.
Since there were no other compartments here, she had to bathe here with a basin of water.
Perhaps sensing that the other party had been staring at her chest, Qin Liu covered her chest with her hand and looked at the other party with a disgusted gaze.
“Uwah… what are you staring at?”
Qin Liu’s reminder immediately brought Liu Haoyu back to his senses.
He quickly coughed twice to alleviate the damned awkwardness.
“I wasn’t looking at anything.”
Naturally, Qin Liu didn’t believe his lie at all.
“Your lewd expression is practically written all over your face…”
Qin Liu muttered.
“To be honest, you really didn’t see anything?”
Faced with Qin Liu’s questioning, Liu Haoyu knew he couldn’t hide it from her, so he generously admitted.
“I was just looking at the mole on your chest, nothing else.”
Liu Haoyu naturally had no lewd thoughts about Qin Liu.
“Oh… you’re talking about this.”
Qin Liu covered her breasts with her arms and turned around, sighing a little.
“Well… I wish I could get rid of this mole. It looks a bit uncoordinated with a small black dot on my body.”
“I think it’s fine, actually, it looks quite good.”
The mole on Qin Liu’s chest wasn’t large, at most a black dot, and it didn’t overly affect the senses.
In short, it was very cute.
Perhaps she was a little shy from Liu Haoyu’s stare, or maybe the water temperature was a bit high, Qin Liu’s face was a little flushed, and she turned her body away again.
“Alright, alright, I’m going to take a bath. Can I ask you to leave here first?”
“I can’t exactly take off all my clothes in front of you, can I?”
In response, Liu Haoyu thoughtfully stroked his chin.
“It’s fine, I don’t mind.”
“You’re really pushing your luck, aren’t you? Go, go, go!”
Qin Liu pushed Liu Haoyu out of the room.
“Don’t even think about peeking.”
“I don’t need to peek at all…”
Liu Haoyu covered his face, he had seen Qin Liu’s body before.
After Liu Haoyu left, Qin Liu finally took off all her clothes.
The hot water in the large basin emitted steam.
After the young girl wiped her body little by little, she lay down in the basin.
Her expression was very relaxed, she closed her eyes and enjoyed this rare beautiful moment.
I have to admit, ever since this slightly Shrimp-headed guy broke in, Qin Liu felt that her life had become a little more beautiful.
If only this person wasn’t so Shrimp-headed…
Putting white stockings on someone you just met, is that something a person would do?
Although I brought this on myself.
Lost in thought, she tucked the last strand of her hair behind her ear, then closed her eyes, emptying her mind little by little.
But just then, she suddenly subconsciously looked at the door of the room.
The door was locked, and the maid who brought the water should have left long ago.
That strange man named Liu Haoyu should still be outside, but for some reason, she always felt a strange gaze penetrating the red wooden door and sticking to her.
“There can’t possibly be someone peeking, can there?”
Qin Liu muttered softly, she was completely submerged in the basin, hiding her body as much as possible.
But even so, she could still feel that strange, eerie gaze.
Moreover, Qin Liu also noticed that the water in her basin was getting cold quite quickly… as if something was draining the warmth from it.
“An illusion?”
Just then, the candlelight in the room suddenly flickered.
Qin Liu suddenly raised her head and looked around constantly.
There was also a mirror in the room, but for some reason… her reflection in the mirror seemed to react half a beat later than her.
She held her breath, staring intently at the mirror not far away, and at one moment, she clearly saw the reflection in the mirror wink at her.
But the problem was, she hadn’t made any movement at all!
This strange situation made Qin Liu instantly feel a chill from the depths of her soul.
It seemed… something was outside the room.
She was already a little afraid of ghosts, and upon realizing this, she frantically looked around.
But inside the room, apart from her rapid breathing, it was eerily quiet.
“Who… who’s there?”
Qin Liu stood up, she covered her body with a bath towel, but the unease in her heart made her dare not move rashly.
“Liu Haoyu?”
She called out tentatively, her voice sounding unusually sharp in the room.
There was no response…
Qin Liu looked around, water droplets dripped from her fingertips into the basin, making a ticking sound.
She felt her heart beating violently in her chest, and she remembered something that happened not long ago.
In this mansion, a maid had hanged herself…
Although sheDidn’t know why she felt like giving up, Qin Liu was sure that this matter was definitely not that simple.
She must have experienced something or seen something before she died.
Upon realizing this, Qin Liu quickly got out of the basin, splashing water everywhere.
Just as she reached out to grab the bath towel at the side, her reflection in the mirror suddenly froze.
The “Qin Liu” in the mirror did not move with her.
This “person” remained in the posture of lying in the basin, with the corners of her mouth slightly upturned, revealing a sinister smile that Qin Liu had never seen on her own face.
She was startled by this sudden change and subconsciously backed away, the bath towel slipping from her hands, her back pressing against the cold wall.
The reflection in the mirror finally moved.
But her movements were completely different from Qin Liu’s. She slowly stood up, her wet silver hair falling to her chest, covering more than half of her face.
When she brushed aside her wet hair, Qin Liu was terrified to find that it wasn’t her face at all.
Instead, it was the face of a mature woman, and this face, combined with her own body, created an extremely uncoordinated and eerie feeling.
The woman was covered in blood, and her eyeballs were just empty sockets that sent chills down one’s spine.
The hateful and resentful gaze made Qin Liu’s heart try to jump out of her throat.
This person… Qin Liu recognized her.
She was the maid who had taken care of her before, but now she had become an irrational fierce ghost.
Soon, the woman’s body also began to change, becoming covered in scars and blood.
From these scars, it was evident that she had not died from hanging herself!
What on earth was going on?
Qin Liu stared at the other party, her expression terrified, her whole body stiff, unable to even move a finger.
Even though her spiritual vision ability was strong and she had seen many ghosts and monsters, she had never seen such a terrifying fierce ghost before.
