Chapter 125: The Barrier in My Heart
After Ji Ma learned how to gracefully climb onto the bed like an elegant cat, she began the final and most important lesson.
The elf Litthys lay on the bed, extending her tongue and skillfully teasing, coordinating her hands and tongue to demonstrate her advanced licking technique to Ji Ma. What was even more remarkable was that while she moved her tongue, her body swayed in a primal rhythm, occasionally lifting her face to reveal an expression of yearning.
Ji Ma’s phantom limbs stood erect, and she was frustratingly aware that none of her concubines, tied together, could compare to this elf’s perverse allure. She regretted not introducing this talented individual to the Compassionate One back then, feeling as though she had missed out on a mesmerizing part of life.
“You can learn the moves, but you must never emulate the expressions,” the elf Litthys suddenly turned her head and said seriously, “It doesn’t fit your character. As a pure and innocent succubus, you shouldn’t show such an extreme yearning expression like I do.”
What a good teacher.
Ji Ma gazed at the remnants of longing on her face, curious and asked, “Teacher, do you really enjoy… doing that kind of thing?”
“Of course.”
“Are the things the old hag said true?”
“Absolutely, not an ounce of exaggeration,” the elf Litthys sat up, her eyes fixed on the ceiling. “I just overestimated humanity. Back then, I quietly climbed onto a ship bound for Shalin City. When the ship sailed into the ocean, my identity as an elf was discovered. There were over fifty strong young men on board, and I pretended to be an elf princess…”
Ji Ma stared at the elf ears peeking out from under Litthys’s black hair. Influenced by web novels and Japanese fantasy, her mind couldn’t help but conjure up various plots of elf tragedies and depravity.
“I had a fake crown. They believed my lie, and then things developed in a way I couldn’t predict.”
Quickly, quickly, Ji Ma’s ears perked up like elf ears, her tail swished eagerly. Along with her anticipation, there was an unavoidable pity—even if she was a thoroughly corrupted demon lord.
Perhaps she used to be an innocent, pure elf girl.
Ji Ma thought to herself.
Litthys’s face twisted with anger as she said, “They didn’t even take my pants off. They locked me in a private room for confinement! I waited in that room all night and didn’t encounter a single man! For three days at the port, aside from two little boys who had barely hit puberty bringing me water and food, I didn’t see a single man.”
“Ah?”
“Don’t be surprised; I still have basic moral standards. I won’t touch young boys; I’m not into pedophilia.”
For a moment, Ji Ma felt a thousand points of frustration piling up in her heart, not knowing where to start.
“I thought the sailors would take turns with you for… intimate contact.”
Litthys grew angrier, saying, “I thought so too. I bought a book about humans, called ‘The Princess in Distress,’ which I heard was written by the demon lord Ji Ma. The princess in it was extremely happy… I actually thought it was true, that the whole world would throw themselves at an elf with a princess title. I even considered that the plot of the novel might be exaggerated, picking a ship to sneak onto. In the end, that book was just nonsense, pure fabrication! The sailors were cowardly, and the captain was worried that one of the sailors wouldn’t control himself, so they specially locked me up!”
After saying this, Litthys shook her head in disappointment: “I was so disappointed in humanity; they’re all a bunch of cowards. They secretly read books about defiling the elf princess, but when the opportunity came, they were more timid than mice!”
Ji Ma: ….
She felt as if she had inexplicably taken a bullet while lying down. Litthys was truly a complete pervert.
She held onto a shred of hope, saying, “Um, don’t you think you’re quite special compared to normal women?”
“Yes, I’m aware that you’re all afraid of me,” Litthys said, “because I’m capable of accepting non-human beings.”
“No, let’s not talk about that topic. I meant in terms of openness to… intimacy. Have you experienced some… not-so-good things?”
“No.” Litthys’s face showed annoyance, “You’re the one hundredth person to ask me this, and certainly not the last. Everyone seems to think I must have suffered some inhuman torment to end up like this. No, I haven’t been captured and altered by demons, nor have I been caught by beastmen. I haven’t even been touched by any strange tentacles. As I grew older, I grew increasingly fond of this; for me, it’s as natural as humans seeking to marry the opposite sex after growing up.”
Finally, Litthys added: “The culture of my society is like this. I’m a dark elf, different from you surface dwellers.”
All the dark elves I’ve seen, in terms of perversion, wouldn’t add up to even your pinky.
“Any more questions?”
Ji Ma quickly shook her head, deciding to keep her distance from Litthys in the future, saying, “No.”
Litthys pointed at the damp teaching tools: “Then let’s start practicing. If you learn well, you can go out, and I can relieve my physiological needs sooner.”
What was meant to come, had indeed come.
Ji Ma took a deep breath, climbed onto the bed, and stared at the carrot.
Too realistic; she couldn’t bring herself to bite. So disgusting!
Ji Ma’s male pride, despite being shattered multiple times and scattered into pieces, still stubbornly nagged at her.
Her hands trembled, lifting and lowering, but she couldn’t pass that mental barrier.
“Little lamb, hurry up. Even though you’re a pure virgin succubus, being too coy won’t do; it’ll turn people off.”
“I… I’m not being coy, but…”
“Then hurry up!”
Ji Ma’s hand held the teaching tool shakily. Just as she opened her mouth, she couldn’t help but turn her head to dry heave.
“What’s wrong?” Litthys asked, dissatisfied.
Ji Ma sat up, her face pale: “I can’t; it’s too disgusting. Let me prepare mentally.”
She planned to persuade herself that this was the price of revenge against the Compassionate One.
Litthys’s tone grew cold: “No, it must be now, immediately. I gave you plenty of time to prepare just now, and you still can’t cross that barrier. This just shows you need to be forced to get over it.”
With that, to emphasize her point, Litthys cracked a whip, the sound echoing by Ji Ma’s ear.
Ji Ma swallowed hard, opened her mouth, closed her eyes, and leaned forward.
“Crack.”
The carrot broke.
Ji Ma blinked her innocent big eyes at Litthys, biting down on the broken carrot, trying to play innocent.
Unfortunately, Litthys was no gentleman who would be sympathetic; the whip curled around and came down hard on Ji Ma’s bottom: “Next time, I’ll whip you!”
Ji Ma’s eyes watered from the pain, unable to resist chewing the carrot and swallowing it. There was no other choice; she was too hungry.
As Litthys peeled the carrot, she said, “You are the student with the highest mental barrier I have ever seen. If you don’t get over it, it will surely annoy your future husband.”
I’m not a commodity; anyone treating me as one should just wait for their family to die, and I won’t have a husband.
Ji Ma thought darkly.
Fortunately, extra meals from the kitchen were finally ready.
Ji Ma went out for a meal, temporarily escaping the terrifying room of Litthys. After filling her stomach, oddly enough, she still felt a vague sense of hunger.
Ji Ma could only hope it was an illusion. She estimated that in the days leading up to her separation from George, the passion she had drawn from him would barely get her through these training days.
For this reason, she had tried her best not to use her ability as an Apostle of Desire to deplete her passion.
If she had to replenish her magic to survive, that would be disastrous.
Returning to Litthys’s room.
“Are you ready?”
“Ready.”
“Let’s start quickly.”
“Crack.”
It broke again.
“Pow!”
“Woo woo~”
“Crying won’t help, crybaby!”
In the end, the impatient Litthys grabbed Ji Ma’s horns, pressed her head down, and forced her over that barrier. Afterward, Ji Ma was left dazed, eyes vacant as she learned the important techniques.
In just one morning, she completed Litthys’s course ahead of schedule.
“The movements are standard, but the emotions are lacking; it’s very mechanical. You can go back now. I’ll think about how to teach you.”
Once Litthys finished speaking, she eagerly closed the door. Ji Ma seemed to hear her burst into laughter as she walked toward her toys, beginning to address her physiological needs.
At lunch, either because Ji Ma’s movements were standard, or perhaps due to her successfully eliciting sympathy from the old maid, the usually harsh and dedicated old maid didn’t utter a single word to attack her. Instead, she occasionally looked at Ji Ma with a gentle gaze and said, “Child, the trainer says you have great talent. Adjust your mindset; there’s nothing wrong with becoming the flower of Shalin City. All the girls under me are hoping to become the most beautiful woman in the city. Think about how much the one who buys you will cherish you…”
“Uh-huh, I’ve thought about it; I understand now.” Right now, I’m working hard to kill your entire family.
The old maid smiled: “It’s good that you understand. Nothing is purely black or white; you must view things from both sides. I know your original master is the hero George. Many say the paladins in the Holy Hall are great, but have you considered what good could come from your connection to hero George? They all live miserable, impoverished lives. The poorer they are, the happier they seem to be. Without servants serving you, you’ll have to clean toilets, wash clothes, mop floors, and cook for yourself. In a few years, you won’t age, but your face will. Your once soft hands will be calloused. I feel pained just watching.”
“Right.”
“When someone powerful and influential buys you, you won’t live in a small castle but a large mansion, with many servants at your disposal, enjoying a refined life.”
“Yes, you’re absolutely right.”
Ji Ma responded perfunctorily, involuntarily reminiscing about the little moments shared with George, finding herself somewhat nostalgic.
Though the dead virgin was a religious fanatic and a weird pervert, he really did treat her like a person, engaging in equal communication as he had vowed.
This kind of thing feels like air; you don’t notice its worth until it’s gone, and you’re treated as a commodity waiting to be sold.
Ji Ma smiled slightly, feeling she was becoming a bit strange, actually thinking this way.
After all, she would ultimately become the demon lord again; there was no need to rely on anyone to live, and coexisting peacefully with George was impossible.

The third update; I’ve dragged it on for so long without realizing. I’ll sleep first.
