Chapter 130 Chapter 131 Breakfast
In the dream.
Jima spread her wings and soared beneath the gray sky, the black-and-white landscape beneath her rapidly retreating.
She had just emerged from Mr. Dongdong’s dream, making her way back home.
Originally, she wanted to run into George’s dream to look for something to eat and perhaps mislead his emotions a bit, laying the groundwork for a future grand plan. But that guy wasn’t dreaming, or perhaps he had woken up.
If George wasn’t dreaming, Jima wouldn’t dare to invade his mind to make him dream.
“Has George already joined the hunt for me?” Jima muttered to herself.
Yes, Jima had already sensed that something was off with Mr. Dongdong.
Although she forced Mr. Dongdong to dream about the memories of the past few days, she found no evidence of betrayal in the dream. However, the fact that Mr. Dongdong was sleeping in White City seemed very problematic!
“It must be the Church that preemptively prepared related transcendent items to counter my ability to ‘enter dreams’ and used them in this pursuit operation.”
“I wonder if they have realized it’s me.”
Thinking of this, Jima felt a wave of relief, glad that she slipped away quickly at the time. Otherwise, as a major suspect, if they tossed her into the realm of honesty, she would confess everything.
“Looks like ‘Pharmacology’ won’t be sellable anymore.” Jima sighed, “I worked hard to come up with a great marketing plan.”
At that moment, a pair of unfriendly eyes pierced towards Jima. She felt her hair stand on end, swiftly turning her body and looking back.
Nothing was there, as if it had just been an illusion.
Jima didn’t think so.
The dream had been stable for a long time, giving her the illusion that this was her private space.
Jima began to self-reflect, no longer allowing herself to relax. She turned in the air again, flapping her wings a few times, and continued to fly back to Marin City at high speed.
There were no unexpected incidents along the way.
Before long, Jima returned to the black smoke emitted by Lianxi’s dream seed.
The long-distance dream maneuver had consumed quite a bit of her magical energy. Jima dove into Lianxi’s dream seed, forcing her to have a dream and using that dream to tear open the barrier between dream and reality.
The sensation of tearing open the barrier was unforgettable for her. Jima forcefully ripped with both hands in the grayish world, and the dark room surged toward her; she felt dizzy, as if hit head-on by ocean waves.
Her ears buzzed, and after a while, the clear sound of insects crept into her ears.
“Who?!”
Lianxi’s voice rang from beside her.
The vigilance of this cat-eared maid was too strong. Every time I “walk in dreams,” I ensure to make no sound at all.
Jima turned back to look at Lianxi on the bed.
Lianxi was naked, clutching a thin blanket to cover her frail body, leaning against the wall, her cat ears standing upright and trembling as if she were a cat forced into a corner.
Jima tore off the cloth covering her face and said, “It’s me.”
“Master? Is it you?”
Jima then realized that Lianxi did not possess night vision ability, even though she clearly had cat ears.
“Yes.” Jima walked to the window and opened it, a cool breeze brushing across her face.
Lianxi relaxed immediately, letting go of the thin blanket and exposing her shoulders.
“Do you like sleeping naked?”
“The clothes you gave me are too good.” Lianxi said timidly, “I’m afraid of ruining them.”
The clothes Jima bought for Lianxi, including the outer and inner garments, were neatly folded at the head of the bed.
“I see.” After successfully changing the subject, Jima walked towards the door, “Sleep well, I’m leaving.”
After the door closed.
Lianxi’s trembling cat ears finally steadied.
Suddenly, the door was pushed open again.
Lianxi’s cat ears perked up, her voice trembling as she asked, “M-Master, do you need anything?”
Jima couldn’t help but smile and said, “Of course, it’s a big deal.”
Lianxi was very anxious. She had long heard stories about maids being violated by their masters but having no recourse. Now it seemed that her master had a special kink.
But looking at Jima’s beautiful smile under the moonlight, she smirked and walked over. She wasn’t as nervous as she had imagined; after all, Jima was too beautiful. Amid her fear, she vaguely felt some anticipation.
“I’m going for it!” Jima extended both hands, firmly grabbing Lianxi’s fluffy and still trembling cat ears.
Lianxi anxiously let out a low whimper.
Jima rubbed them, stopping only when Lianxi softly said it hurt.
“I can’t help it. You look so weak; I just want to bully you a bit.” Jima sighed in relief, feeling invigorated as she walked out of the room and closed the door.
She didn’t care about what Lianxi thought.
What could she think? Anyway, she wouldn’t run away.
The feeling of being able to do whatever she wanted to the weak made Jima happily sing a little tune: “I am free now, free now, I can do whatever I want.”
In the yard, a charred dry tree emitted a wisp of green smoke.
Jima returned to her bedroom, lying on the cool mat and closing her eyes under the protection of the mosquito net.
As soon as her eyes closed.
Time passed quickly.
When she opened her eyes, it was already dim light outside. She yawned, stretched, and rubbed her eyes.
She called out, “Little Li! Little Li! Little Li!”
“Master, I’m coming.”
Accompanied by a flurry of hurried footsteps, the door opened, and Lianxi walked in, adjusting her black formal maid outfit.
The black maid dress reached her calves, only exposing her slender calves wrapped in white stockings.
Jima looked at Lianxi’s maid outfit; she quite liked proper maid clothing and enjoyed doing some improper things to maids dressed in proper attire. She couldn’t help but recall the curves of the maids from the previous harem under the proper maid.
She sighed and said, “Little Li, you really are thin.”
“I-I’m sorry, Master.”
“You don’t need to keep saying sorry all day… Never mind.” Jima said, “Bring the washbasin and towel.”
“Yes, Master.”
Jima directly undressed, facing the mirror to tidy her messy black hair. She began to sort out what happened last night.
Mr. Dongdong had undoubtedly been captured. He had no reason to be sleeping at the Church. It was just that she didn’t know how much information the other side had or if George had joined.
If not, she could go into George’s dream to snoop around.
But what if she got exposed?
Jima felt restless, as if she were about to soar from a cliff.
If exposed, then so be it. At worst, she would leverage her feminine charms, cling to him and cry. He wouldn’t dare to sell her out to the spirits.
In the mirror, she saw Lianxi holding a basin of water, standing still, with her eyes fixed on Jima.
In a good mood, Jima turned her head and smiled, “Why are you staring at me?”
Lianxi lowered her head and said, “Master is beautiful.”
“I know.” After fixing her hair, Jima tied it into a bow with a silk ribbon.
She picked up the towel, dipped it in water, and washed her face thoroughly.
Lianxi kept her head down, sneaking glances at Jima, then averting her eyes like a startled rabbit.
Jima smiled faintly at the corners of her mouth; it seemed the charm of the succubus also had some effect on women.
She just wondered if, when she fully unleashed her charm, she could coax George’s fiancée into bed and give her a big green hat.
“Bring me my clothes; today is Monday, so the first set on the left hand side. If it’s Tuesday, then the second set on the left. Remember? Also, my dirty clothes go in the basket; you need to wash them well and hang them to dry.”
Classes this afternoon. After dressing, Jima strolled into the kitchen, which was one of her favorite pastimes. She splashed water onto the stove; the “firestone” inside heated upon contact with water, turning it into steam with a hissing sound.
Next, she tossed in the charcoal she bought from the charcoal burner. Once the fire was lit, Jima cooked a meat porridge, using dried meat. The porridge was packed with nearly half meat. She also opened the shredded white radish soaked in vinegar and sugar from last night, taking a bite. The radish was crisp, sour, and a bit sweet.
“The timing is just right.”
She served a big bowl, chopped up a few chilies, and placed them on top. She served the meat porridge along with the sour shredded radish on the table. She hated hot food, so she picked up ‘Pharmacology’ to review first, preparing to make a “money luck pouch” for herself later.
After looking for nearly half an hour, Jima put down the book and stirred the porridge with a spoon. The surface of the porridge had formed a layer of mush, and there were no longer steaming hot vapors. She used her chopsticks to push that layer of mush into her own bowl before calling out:
“Little Li! Little Li!”
A hurried sound of footsteps approached, and Lianxi appeared at the doorway, her skirt wet and her hands crossed over her abdomen, asking, “Does Master have orders?”
“First, from now on, don’t say orders; say commands.”
“Yes, Master.”
“Let me ask again.”
“Master, do you have any commands?”
“Right, just like that.” This felt like the demeanor of a demon lord; Jima squinted with satisfaction, saying, “The second thing, it’s time for breakfast.”
“Master, I’m not hungry.”
“Yesterday I just saw you, and you said you weren’t hungry either.” Jima glanced at Lianxi’s skinny body with disdain, “Yesterday I saw you, and you were so thin that I could see your ribs.”
“I’ve eaten.”
“Stolen?”
“No! Master.” Lianxi said, “The dried meat you gave me yesterday, I didn’t finish.”
Saying this, she took out a wrapped piece of paper from her waist and opened it to reveal several chunks of dried meat inside.
The piece of meat, originally the size of a fist, surprisingly remained over half of that.
“You only ate that little for dinner?”
Lianxi replied, with rare pride in her tone, “Master, I eat very little….”
Her voice trailed off, as she saw the smile on Jima’s face dissolve at an alarming speed, turning cold.
“What’s there to be proud of? Do I look like someone who lacks food?” Jima said, “I command you to eat well from now on, fill your stomach, and gain some weight. If you ever commit the heinous act of leaving food uneaten again, I won’t hesitate to show you my cruel side.”
“I’m sorry! Master!”
Lianxi quickly grabbed a piece of treasured dried meat and stuffed it into her mouth.
“Alright, for now, don’t eat the dried meat first. Quickly sit down and eat breakfast.”
“Is it made by Master’s own hands?” Lianxi asked, a bit uneasy, “Master, I can cook too.”
“Ha ha. Go, go, go, the kitchen is mine. No matter how good you are, can you compare to me?”
Lianxi took a spoonful of the thick, warm meat porridge and swallowed it. Her nose tinged with acidity, her eyes reddened.
“I’m sorry, I… I’ve never had such thick meat porridge before.” Lianxi said, then became anxious again, “It seems that when I spooned the porridge, I accidentally got all the meat into the bowl; half of it is meat.”
“Normal, because I added a lot of meat.” Jima said, “In the morning, you should eat more protein and less carbohydrates. Sigh, if only there was fresh milk. Make time to visit the village and show your face so that when I ask you to buy something, there won’t be any mishaps.”
