Sensing the movement in his embrace, Luo Xiu lowered his head.
His eyes met those of the awakened girl.

The girl gently shook her head and whispered, “Selena is asleep, don’t wake her.”

“How do you feel?”
Eileen didn’t answer directly. She sat up a little straighter and leaned her head close to Luo Xiu’s ear.

Eileen averted her gaze and remained silent.
Leaning against the cold wall, she silently crouched down.

“I’m fine.”
