“That’s not right, not right,” squeaked the servant nervously. “Who is this guy? Are they our new guests? Why this sudden display of urgency?”
Butler Bai was visibly flustered as well, standing next to him. The servant’s icy gaze stared directly at us, an expression that made it feel like he was a killing machine.
“Is your family part of the prominent houses?” I suddenly laughed, “It seems it’s just an insignificant household. How could that possibly measure up to our standards?!”
I deliberately raised my voice so Butler Bai would hear. His expression shifted drastically, while the servant’s gaze grew colder, as if he were a machine programmed to kill.
“No, no, no!” Butler Bai suddenly laughed, “Please don’t say such offensive things, young master. We only hope that this exchange can be completed. Other matters are beyond our jurisdiction. You… your elder sister is a very rule-abiding person!”
“No!” At that moment, the servant broke into a wild laugh. “They won’t be our clients! They don’t even have the qualifications to meet our elder sister!”
As soon as the words left his mouth, the servant transformed into a monster and charged towards us!
“Looking for death!” The young man reacted, hurriedly drawing a sword from where we had just been seated and swinging it towards the monster.
