It’s been a while since the Tower LV up!
The day after confirming that Wanri had become a Nine-tailed Fox.
When I checked the logs from the Management Menu, the Tower LV had become 9.
……
I rubbed my eyes, but it wasn’t a mistake.
As far as Kousuke understood, the Tower LV had been 7 until yesterday.
Wondering where Tower LV 8 had gone, I checked more closely and found that the log for LV 8 was indeed there.
It wasn’t that Kousuke had overlooked it; both LV 8 and LV 9 upgrades had been processed simultaneously during the night.
The fact that the Tower LV 9 log was showing on the surface made it appear as if LV 8 had been skipped.
But, why were LVs 8 and 9 processed at the same time on the same day?
Upon further investigation, the reason lay in the unlock conditions for the LVs.
One of the unlock conditions for LV 8 was “To make a summon beast of a certain rank or higher your familiar.”
And for LV 9, it was “To make a divine race or something similar your familiar.”
Considering this, because Nana had become a divine beast, the condition for LV 9 was met first.
After that, Wanri met the condition for LV 8, it seemed that LV 8 and LV 9 were unlocked simultaneously.
However, considering the logs so far, that’s the only judgment I can make, but there’s something strange about it when you think about it normally.
Kousuke doesn’t know the exact dates when Nana and Wanri evolved (?) in the first place.
He only found out they had evolved when he happened to meet them.
It wouldn’t be strange if Wanri had evolved earlier.
Yet, the Tower Management Menu recognized them in the order Kousuke had checked.
What could this mean?
For a while, Kousuke tilted his head and thought, but he couldn’t figure out the logic behind how this had happened.
He asked everyone, but they all tilted their heads.
They didn’t even really understand how the Tower worked in the first place.
There was no point in thinking about it, so he decided to resort to the final measure.

“…And so, you want me to tell you the answer?”
“Ah, yes. Well… if possible, that’s all. I don’t desperately need to know.”
“Is that so…? However… unfortunately, I cannot tell you.”
Hearing Eris’s answer, Kousuke wasn’t particularly discouraged; rather, he nodded as if it were natural.
“I see. Well, I guess it can’t be helped…”
“Please wait. Kousuke-sama, you are probably mistaken.”
“…What do you mean?”
“Don’t you think that I know the answer and am unable to tell you?”
“Isn’t that right?”
“No. Firstly, regarding the ‘Tower,’ I am outside its jurisdiction.”
Kousuke was surprised by the unexpected answer.
“Huh? …Really?”
“Yes. As I may have mentioned before, we each have our roles.”
“Yeah. I heard that.”
“Regarding the ‘Tower,’ it is not our jurisdiction, but that person’s.”
“Oh. Is that so?”
“That’s right. Therefore, I don’t know the answer either.”
“I see. In that case, it can’t be helped.”
It couldn’t be helped if she didn’t know the answer from the start, rather than knowing it and not being able to tell him.
However, even if Eris knew the answer and didn’t tell him, Kousuke probably wouldn’t have minded.
As he was thinking about such things, another voice cut in.
“That’s right. If you don’t know, it can’t be helped.”
It was Asura.
“…Kya?!”
It seemed to be a surprise even for Eris, as a rare scream was heard.
“My, my. Is it that surprising?”
“Please don’t startle me!!”
“Sorry, sorry. I didn’t expect you to be that surprised.”
In the first place, Asura rarely interrupts Divine Union like this.
Moreover, it seemed to be the first time for Eris to be caught off guard.
“That’s unusual.”
“I can’t help it. Opportunities to talk with you are not that frequent. And yet, you manage to talk with the other girls.”
Asura’s voice sounded slightly sulky.
“Even so… you can’t create a Divine Union Tool that allows direct conversation with Asura, right?”
“…Sigh. That’s right. Not with your current abilities… Hurry up and become able to create one.”
“Hahaha (sweat). I’ll do my best.”
Kousuke doesn’t even understand why he can’t create a Divine Union Tool for Asura, so the road ahead seems long.
“Well, never mind. More importantly, I don’t have much time, so I’ll just tell you the answer. In the first place, the ‘Tower’ is linked to the Master, so the process progresses the moment you, the Master, recognize it.”
“So, because Nana was the first to evolve (deify?), she was recognized by the ‘Tower’ first?”
“Precisely.”
“I see… Huh? But, the flora, etc., are displayed normally, aren’t they?”
“Of course. They are things that grow in the ‘Tower’ to begin with.”
“What about things brought by other people?”
“If it’s something that can be installed in the ‘Tower,’ it’s recognized immediately and displayed in the menu.”
“??? Isn’t that contradictory?”
Asura’s earlier statement was that it wouldn’t be processed unless Kousuke recognized it.
“The processing of Tower LV and the recognition of installations are separate processes. To put it in a way that’s easy for you to understand, it’s like different programs are working.”
Regarding Tower LV, it’s about Kousuke recognizing the condition for LV up, while other things operate automatically.
“Is it like the difference between a heart that beats on its own and limbs that don’t move unless you consciously make them?”
The heart beats on its own, but the limbs won’t move unless you try to move them.
In this case, the heart would be the installation recognition system, and the limbs (including the brain) would be the Tower LV up system.
“Hmm… It’s subtly different, but for now, would it be better to understand it that way?”
Asura’s answer was also vague.
“In any case, you can think of the Tower LV system as operating with a distinct recognition.”
“…Hmm. I understand for now.”
Although he felt somewhat unsatisfied, Kousuke replied like this, as he didn’t think he’d get any more answers by asking.
“Really? Then, I should get back to work soon.”
“Ah. Thank you for going out of your way.”
“It’s fine. It’s not often I get to talk like this. See you then.”
“However, is it okay? Being told something like this directly…”
“If that person judged it to be alright, then you were told just now, weren’t you?”
“That’s true.”
Kousuke nodded at Eris’s answer.
It felt like he had received an answer directly from the developer (operator?), rather than from a strategy guide, and now he felt a bit guilty.
“In that case, shouldn’t you not have asked me in the first place?”
“…You are absolutely right.”
Kousuke could only agree with Eris’s sharp (or rather, obvious?) opinion.
The details of the LV up will be in the next installment.
There’s a reason why the explanation feels incomplete.
As Asura said at the end, please consider the Tower LV up system to be operating separately.
What kind of system it is will likely be revealed later. Probably.

As I wrote in yesterday’s Activity Report, the number of favorite registrations and PVs has increased rapidly.
……What happened!?
Today, I nervously checked the genre rankings (Fantasy) just in case… and there it was… it was there. Unexpectedly ranked.
Um… What should I do?
I’m in a strange mood right now lol.
In any case, the fact that I’ve been able to continue this far is all thanks to everyone.
Thank you very much.
I look forward to your continued support.
