Chapter 3 has begun.
About one month has passed since Kousuke conquered the tower.
Finally, the first step in building a village on the 5th Floor was about to take shape.
Kousuke was currently receiving a report from Isunani, one of the Ryusen activity members.
“So, is the preparation on your side complete?”
“Yes. The construction of the base, which took the longest, is finished, and the interior work was completed yesterday. We’ve also identified adventurers and made arrangements with a few parties who showed interest.”
“Does that mean all that’s left is to connect the gate?”
“That’s right.”
“Hmm. I see…”
Seeing Kousuke’s subtle expression, Isunani tilted his head.
“…Is there a problem?”
“Ah, no, no. It’s just that there’s something I’m currently making, and I realized it wouldn’t be ready in time. The village itself is no problem.”
“Something you’re making?”
“Yeah. This.”
Kousuke happily produced an item with a single crystal placed on top of a box.
“…What is this?”
“Try placing your hand on the crystal.”
As Kousuke instructed, Isunani placed his hand on the crystal.
Then, on the surface of the box part, Isunani’s current status was displayed.
“…This!?”
“I guess you could call it a status viewer or checker? In essence, it’s a magic tool that lets you check your own status, or more accurately, a divine tool since it uses divine power.”
Kousuke’s casual explanation left Isunani dumbfounded. Kouhi and Mitsuki, who were nearby, also offered a bitter smile seeing Isunani’s reaction.
This divine tool was also an unexpected item for the two of them. Kousuke had completely left the 73rd Floor and 76th Floor to them for a while, only observing the wolves and foxes, and had been secretly working on something in his spare time, which resulted in this.
After all, there was no device in this world that could quantify a person’s power or skills. It was naturally something that could only be created with Kousuke’s left eye power. It was the result of Kousuke’s unique understanding of what it meant to be able to use divine power.
Isunani, having managed to calm himself, asked, “It looks like a wonderful item to me, but is there something you’re dissatisfied with?”
“Yes. Status is essentially a trove of personal information. I tried to see if I could transfer it to something like a card so that only the person themselves could view it, but it wasn’t very successful, and for now, displaying it on the box is the best I can do.”
“…I see. What about Kouhi-sama and Mitsuki-sama?”
“Honestly, while I can handle magic tools, when it comes to creating divine tools, I’m completely outside my area of expertise.”
“I’m the same,” Mitsuki added.
Although Kouhi and Mitsuki could use divine power, creating divine tools was entirely out of their specialty. In the first place, Kousuke creating something like this in less than a month was abnormal, but he had no awareness of it.
“Um… can I join you in making this divine tool?” Isunani asked, finding it difficult to say.
“Hmm? That’s fine, but what about Ryusen?”
“Eh? Is that okay? Yay!” Kousuke’s initial cool impression was crumbling as Isunani looked ready to dance.
“No, I mean, what about Ryusen?”
“That’s not a problem. The plan is almost finalized, so it’s okay to send one person to another task now.”
“Ah, okay. Well, I’ll ask after getting permission from the other members, just in case.”
Kousuke, who had given permission under pressure, was met with both Kouhi and Mitsuki shaking their heads. In the end, Isunani would go on to become the leader of the tower and guild’s development team, developing numerous holy tools, magic tools, and divine tools alongside Kousuke, but that’s a story for another time.
“So, what will you do about the gate installation?” Kouhi interjected, cutting into their tangents.
“Ah,” Kousuke and Isunani exchanged glances, their faces showing they had completely forgotten. Seeing this, Kouhi and Mitsuki both let out a sigh.
Kousuke hastily installed the teleport gate in the temple of the 5th Floor village. Then, he rummaged around under the management screen and pulled out a rectangular object.
“A-anyway, could you take this to where we plan to build the base gate?”
“…What is this?”
“Ah, the gate on the base side will be created with this as the center.”
“I see. Understood.” Isunani nodded and accepted it. He carefully tucked it into his pocket, as he couldn’t afford to drop it under any circumstances.
“Also, if I operate this gate, a gate will appear on the other side as well. How much time do you think you’ll need?”
“Let’s see… could you allow about two hours?”
“Understood.” Isunani could teleport from outside the tower (as could everyone in this party except Kousuke). He set the time at two hours to allow for unforeseen circumstances on the other side.
“Then, I shall take my leave.” After seeing Isunani off as he headed outside the tower, the three of them, Kousuke, Kouhi, and Mitsuki, went their separate ways to their tasks.

At the Ryusen base, Wahid and the other five members were gathered. It was only natural, as their previous struggles were finally coming to a close, and a result was about to manifest. The six of them were eagerly awaiting the transformation of the item Isunani had brought back from the tower.
Isunani, who had the strongest sensitivity to divine power, noticed, “Ah, it looks like it’s about to happen.” At his words, the six who had been relaxed straightened up and assembled themselves properly. Meanwhile, a small, box-shaped object began to glow, grow larger, and eventually transformed into a gate.
Kousuke and the other two immediately appeared from that gate. Seeing them, the six members under Wahid knelt.
“Ah. No, you don’t have to be so formal,” Kousuke said, flustered, urging them to stand.
“Congratulations, Kousuke-sama,” they all said in unison.
“Yes. It’s all thanks to everyone’s hard work. Besides, this is just the beginning.”
“Of course, we understand.”
“Well then, I’ll be counting on you starting tomorrow. Oh, and did you hear what Isunani said?”
“We did. There are no particular issues, so please use us there.” Wahid replied on behalf of the group. Having been summoned first, he had somehow become their leader.
“Understood. Is everything else… on the other side okay as well?”
“Of course.”
“This should be about it, right? Is there anything else?” Kousuke asked Kouhi and Mitsuki, but both shook their heads.
“Ah, that’s right. I forgot to mention. For now, this teleport gate can only be activated by those above management level, so you won’t be able to pass unless they grant permission. The method for granting permission is the same as for the gate in the management layer.”
They had used the gate in the management layer a few times before, so they would know how to do it.
“I see. Understood.”
“This should be all, right? Then we’ll head over there and transfer the wolves to another floor. I’ll leave the rest to you.”
“Yes.” After hearing their reply, the three of them, Kousuke, Kouhi, and Mitsuki, passed through the teleport gate and disappeared back into the tower. After seeing them off, Wahid addressed the remaining five.
“As Kousuke-sama said, we’ve reached a milestone for now, but the real work starts now. Everyone, please do as we discussed.” Then, everyone replied in their own way and departed to their respective tasks.
Meanwhile, Kousuke and the others emerged from the teleport gate in the temple on the 5th Floor. Leading the remaining wolves, they went to the 7th Floor, where they rejoined with the other wolves, and then returned to the management layer.
With this, the preparations were finally complete to accept outsiders into the village on the 5th Floor.
