It has been eight months since I started posting, as of today’s submission (or yesterday?).
We look forward to your continued support of “Let’s Try Managing the Tower.”
A few days after Peach’s divine power intoxication.
Haku delivered a report.
“Father, Tower LV has reached LV5.”
“Oh? Does that mean it’s been properly unlocked?”
“Yes.”
The Four Elements Tower had all its towers reach LV5 a few days ago, with the exception of the Northwest Tower.
It was confirmed in the Northeast Tower, which was the first to reach LV5, that unique items were unlocked simultaneously with Tower LV5.
These were also unlocked in the Southeast and Southwest Towers simultaneously when they reached Tower LV5.
Only the Northwest Tower, managed by Haku, remained, and it had finally been unlocked.
The unique item unlocked in the Northwest Tower is as follows.
Name: Wind Orb
Installation Cost: 300,000 points (Divine Power)
Description: The unique item of the Northwest Tower. It can create a wind attribute barrier.
Since the Northeast Tower had the Earth Orb, the Southeast Tower the Water Orb, and the Southwest Tower the Fire Orb, the expected items were unlocked.
What role these four orbs will play is currently unknown.
In Peach’s tower, which was unlocked first, the surrounding familiars only mentioned that they felt it was easier to learn earth attribute magic.
It has not yet been confirmed if the same will happen in other towers, so it is not known if this is correct.
Moreover, since each tower specializes in one of the four attributes, there is also the possibility that familiars suited to each attribute are naturally more likely to be born.
“Have you installed it yet?”
“Yes. Where everyone is. They seemed happy, somehow?”
“Is that so?”
When Haku says “everyone,” he means the level where the Mini Dragons are, of course.
Mini Dragons are also classified as dragons, so in a way, they can be considered the same species as Haku.
By the way, some of the Mini Dragons in the Northwest Tower and some in the Amamiya Tower have already evolved.
There are multiple types of evolution, so it is difficult to pinpoint the evolutionary conditions, but it is certain that they have become stronger, similar to other species.
“Evolution… Speaking of which, the Orb series was also one of the targets for my right eye, wasn’t it?”
It was confirmed for the Earth Orb, but I hadn’t checked the other Orbs.
Since Haku was right in front of me, I decided to check what was happening with the Wind Orb.
It might be nothing since it was just installed, but it’s better to be safe.

Accompanied by Haku and Mitsuki, we headed to the floor where the Wind Orb of the Northwest Tower was installed.
Mini Dragons were gathered around the Orb.
Evolved individuals like Rock Dragons and Hell Dragons were also there.
Normally, such beings would be feared by anyone other than top-tier adventurers, but as they nudged the Orb with their snouts, pushing past the Mini Dragons, they didn’t seem like it at all.
However, the pushing might have been more like a part of their play.
In any case, the Wind Orb seemed to be of great interest to the Dragons.
When I checked with my right eye, just like the Earth Orb, “buds of evolution” appeared.
I tried to see if I could grant blessings, like I could with the familiars and members, but unfortunately, it didn’t work.
“I guess it’s not that convenient.”
I muttered with a bitter smile, and then an idea struck me.
I wondered why I hadn’t noticed it before, but I’d reflect on that later.
For now, I would try to put my idea into practice.
First, I needed to know if it was possible, so I summoned a Sylph.
“Sylph, are you there?”
“Yes, yes. Did you call?”
“Yes, I did. Can you give your power to this?”
The Sylph circled and touched the Orb that Kousuke was pointing to.
“…Hmm. It’s difficult as it is now?”
I had expected to some extent, so I wasn’t that discouraged, but I almost missed something important for a moment.
“Is that so…? Hmm? As it is now?”
Kousuke tilted his head at Sylph’s subtle phrasing.
“Yes. If I put my power into it as it is, it might break.”
“Ah. Like it would exceed its capacity or something?”
“Exactly. Something like that.”
From Sylph’s words, my expectation that it could serve as a vessel to accept the fairy’s power did not seem wrong.
However, the Orb itself was still too fragile to accept the power without further strengthening.
This means that if the vessel is strengthened to accept the power… at this point, I suddenly recalled.
“…In the end, it’s the same as what I see with my right eye.”
Kousuke, who slumped to his knees, was looked at curiously by Sylph and Haku.

“Well, this is a problem. Back to square one.”
It worked with Sylvia and her familiars, but not with the Orb.
Come to think of it, I was too hasty in thinking I could grant blessings to an object.
“In short, the Orb needs to be strengthened so it can withstand the power of the fairies, right?”
Mitsuki, who was beside him, asked Kousuke, who was troubled.
“That’s right.”
“Can’t it be strengthened with divine power, like when creating divine tools?”
“…Huh? Ah!?”
Mitsuki’s advice made me realize I had been overthinking it.
I had been thinking of it as strengthening a soul vessel, so it hadn’t occurred to me that simply strengthening it with divine power might be enough to accept the fairy’s power.
If that’s the case, it’s precisely Kousuke’s specialty.
I decided to ignore my self-criticism for not thinking of this, despite it being my specialty.
To try it out immediately, I obtained Peach’s permission and headed to the floor where the Earth Orb of the Northeast Tower was.
With Peach, who had fully recovered from her divine power intoxication, watching, Kousuke checked the divine power status of the Earth Orb.
If it was already strengthened with divine power, Mitsuki’s idea wouldn’t work.
Fortunately, it had not been strengthened with divine power, so there was room for Kousuke to work on it.
However, the problem was the method of strengthening.
There were two methods: one was to embed the Orb in a strengthened item and reinforce it overall, and the other was to infuse divine power directly into the Orb itself.
Depending on which method was chosen, whether the original goal could be achieved would change.
Naturally, strengthening the Orb itself would be better, but it was uncertain whether that strengthening alone would allow it to accept the fairy’s power.
“Ah, I see. Is that why there’s Vermilia Castle?”
The Vermilia Orb and Vermilia Castle always exist as a set.
The Orb itself is too small to be a vessel for growth.
Of course, it’s not impossible to embed things, but strengthening it as a set with its outer casing would lead to more stable reinforcement.
Vermilia Castle itself is a castle with considerable power, so I had thought there was some connection, and if that’s the case, it makes sense.
“Hmm. This is no good.”
“There must be some other method~, surely!”
Peach, misunderstanding my dejected expression, tried to comfort me.
“Ah, sorry. It’s not that.”
After apologizing briefly, I explained my thoughts from before.
“…So, if we investigate the Vermilia Orb in detail, will we find something~?”
“It’s not so much that we’ll find something, but rather that we can use it as a reference.”
I wondered why I hadn’t investigated it before, but I had never even considered it.
However, I had hopes that I might now be able to understand the mechanism of the Vermilia Orb to some extent.
Although he didn’t realize it yet, Kousuke was steadily progressing as one of the gods of tool creation.
Tool creation is merely one aspect of his existence as an Avatar.
His main known role is, after all, status display.
…For now, at least.
However, the upper echelons are already becoming aware of his tool creation abilities.
