This is an explanatory chapter.

Today, the final results of the NaroCon were announced.
It had been decided that this work would be published in book form, and it was newly announced that the publisher would be Shin Kigen Sha.
We ask for your continued support for “Let’s Try Managing the Tower.”
Now, please enjoy the main story.
Kousuke and his party left the first village after entering Seuri Forest, and then took about half a month to pass through the forest.
There were a total of five villages within the forest, but after leaving the first village, no major events occurred.
Thanks to this, they were able to proceed smoothly with their forest journey.
Of course, they did encounter monsters along the way, but Nana, as usual, joyfully went to defeat them.
As they continued their usual journey, they also witnessed sights that were different from usual.
Wild animals had been approaching Kousuke’s wagon more and more.
While in the villages, this was of course not the case, but when Kousuke and his party were traveling alone or camping at night, they would be observed.
This was because Kousuke had become the (alleged) namesake of the World Tree in Seuri Forest.
By the way, before leaving the Elf Village, he looked at the World Tree with his left eye, but it had not become a familiar.
It may be that special contracts are necessary to become a familiar.
He did not know the details of this, but for Kousuke, the summoned beasts of the tower were enough, so he did not intend to pursue it further.
After safely passing through Seuri Forest, the target, Seichun’s Town, came into view.
Geographically, Seuri Forest extends from the southwest to the southeast, with Seichun’s Town at its center.
To the southwest and northwest is the Republic of Raines, to the northwest and northeast is the Dominant Empire, and to the northeast and southeast is the Heitei Kingdom.
Seichun’s Town, located right in the middle of the three countries, was maintained as an independent city without being dominated by any nation.
Seichun’s Town, at the foot of Gazenran Tower, has long been known as a town where adventurers gather.
It can be said that they have maintained their independence through the power of these adventurers, but in reality, it is also because the various countries are fiercely vying for control of Gazenran Tower.
Currently, they are in a state of stalemate, but in the past, they were surrounded by many more nations.
Despite such political machinations, Seichun’s Town has become a town centered entirely around adventurers.
The town has a complete arena in its center, where battles are fought almost every day.
Of course, the outcome of these battles is subject to gambling.
In addition, Seichun’s Town has all the facilities that adventurers would likely use.
It is truly an adventurer’s town, but there is a reason why the Crown has not expanded into this town.
One reason is that progress is hindered by the fact that the town is being eyed by various countries in a state of stalemate, but another reason is that the power of each guild here is so strong that discussions do not go smoothly.
There are administrative bodies, but they are merely places for maintaining the town’s security and deflecting external pressure.
The center is, as always, the guilds, and among them, the Adventurer’s Guild holds significant power.
Seichun’s Town has guilds of various sizes, and naturally, guilds that profit greatly from Gazenran Tower have a voice.
This is because the materials from Gazenran Tower are the largest source of income for Seichun’s Town.
The guilds in Seichun’s Town send their members into the tower to procure materials, which they then use as operating funds for the guild.
Naturally, the larger the guild, the more materials they acquire, and the greater their standing in the town.

Kousuke and his party, who had passed through the town’s checkpoint without any incident, began searching for an inn where they could park their wagon.
However, the search was not difficult, as they had gathered sufficient information about inns during their travels.
It is said that all adventurers on the West Continent have visited at least once, so there was no shortage of information about Seichun’s Town.
They intended to stay at any of the inns they had heard about that had vacancies.
After all, as a town where adventurers gather, it is common for good inns in Seichun’s Town to be fully booked.
Kousuke and his party were prepared to visit several inns, but their worries turned out to be unfounded.
While Kousuke and his party were gathering information about inns, they were able to easily get into the inn that most people mentioned first.
In inns in this town, where long-term stays are common, vacancies are rare once they are fully booked.
Therefore, it is very common to be unable to enter even if you want to.
This is especially true for popular inns, which are always in this state.
When Kousuke and his party were making their arrangements at the inn, the employee told them, “Customers are lucky.”
Of course, as expected of a popular inn, the staff were well-trained, and their words, which could have easily sounded sarcastic, were spoken only once.
As expected for an inn recommended by adventurers, it was a room where bringing in familiars was perfectly fine.
Thus, Nana also came along to the room they were guided to.
Furthermore, the room was at a rank that was just barely within Kousuke’s guild rank, or perhaps a little over.
However, Kousuke’s income is generated in a way completely unrelated to his guild rank, so there was no problem with the cost.
However, even though the inn did not know this, they were easily ushered into this room, which was probably due to the prepaid deposit.
Furthermore, it was for one month.
Kousuke and his party intend to stay in Seichun’s Town for a while this time.
Since their original goal was a sightseeing trip, they also wanted to thoroughly explore the town.
Of course, they also intend to conquer Gazenran Tower.
However, they have not yet decided whether to completely conquer the tower.
With Kouhi and Mitsuki present, it would be possible to clear all floors, but they have no intention of causing any new disturbances.
Instead, Kousuke is looking forward to wandering around Seichun’s Town.
Gazenran Tower is located almost in the center of the West Continent, and Seichun’s Town at its foot is also located in the central area.
Therefore, Seichun’s Town is a gathering place for food from all over the continent.
Kousuke wants to eat all the food available in this town if at all possible.

Considering Kousuke’s circumstances, the meals, which are normally served in the morning and evening, have been adjusted to only evening meals.
Kousuke and his party arrived in Seichun’s Town after noon, so the dinner served at the inn was their first meal in Seichun.
The meal that was served was,
“Chinese…?”
The lineup of dishes was remarkably close to Chinese cuisine.
Kousuke involuntarily muttered this, and Kouhi and Mitsuki exchanged glances.
“There was this kind of meal too?”
Mitsuki asked Kousuke, who looked happy at the sight of the Chinese-style dishes.
“Yeah. Though it’s the cuisine of the neighboring country.”
Kousuke said, and Mitsuki nodded in understanding.
Mitsuki had already mastered Japanese cuisine for Kousuke’s sake.
However, she had never heard of cuisine from other countries.
By the way, meals at the inn are served in the room.
They were told they could choose between eating in the dining hall on the lowest floor or in their room, and they chose to eat in their room.
This was partly because Nana was with them, but also because with Kouhi and Mitsuki present, they would surely attract attention from others.
They had no intention of eating in such a situation.
Perhaps the inn staff, anticipating this, had asked them.
Thinking of this, Kousuke took his first bite of Chinese (style) food in a long time.
And so, the “Gazenran Tower Arc” has begun.
While the tower’s name is in the title, it might be more accurate to call it the “Seichun’s Town Arc.”
Since I’ve hinted that various foods gather here because it’s in the center, I plan to sprinkle in some foods other than Chinese cuisine.
Don’t worry, I don’t intend to make you hungry with food reviews (or food reports? lol).
