Kousuke’s divine realms, unless an object is brought from the outside, are fundamentally empty.
Of course, this doesn’t include essentials for living beings, like air.
Kousuke was racking his brain over the newly created third divine realm.
Over an hour had already passed since he started contemplating how to create a new divine realm and began to worry.
Kouhi, seeing Kousuke with a troubled expression and barely moving for so long, decided it was time to speak to him.
“Master, what have you been worrying about for so long?”
In response to the question, Kousuke looked at Kouhi.
“Yeah. I’m wondering if I can transform this barren world into something else, but I have no idea how…”
As Kousuke said this, shaking his head, Kouhi’s eyes blinked.
“You mean, you want to place nature in this place?”
The other two divine realms he had already created served as an intermediate point between storage and travel, so several tools were placed there.
Understanding that Kousuke didn’t want to place everyday necessities like tools now, Kouhi asked him.
Kouhi’s guess was correct, so Kousuke immediately nodded.
“Yeah. Even if it’s not on the same scale as Asura’s divine realm, I was hoping I could create at least a small garden.”
Kousuke’s usual living base is in the management layer.
In the management layer, he can prepare as much space as he wants for living, but it lacks the concept of an “outside.”
In other words, there is no space that corresponds to the garden Kousuke mentioned.
“Why, all of a sudden, something like that?”
Kousuke had been living in the management layer for over twenty years.
Kouhi found it strange that Kousuke would bring this up now.
Kousuke’s expression turned sheepish at Kouhi’s question.
“It doesn’t really mean anything. If I want to go somewhere with nature, I can just go to the floors of the Tower…”
Kouhi nodded at Kousuke’s reasonable statement.
That’s precisely why she had asked the question earlier.
“At first, I just thought it was a whim and wondered if I could do it. But since it didn’t seem to be going well, I got lost in thought and time just slipped away.”
Kouhi let out a chuckle at Kousuke’s words, which were so characteristic of him.
For Kousuke, getting absorbed in one thing and forgetting time was a daily occurrence.
This is why he would sometimes forget to eat or sleep while making magic tools, and it was always Kouhi or Mitsuki’s role to stop him.
However, this time, it hadn’t reached that point yet, so there was no need to stop him.
Rather, Kouhi decided to offer some advice, wondering why he hadn’t realized it himself.
“I’m not sure why you haven’t realized it, Master, but why don’t you use the fairies?”
“Huh!? Fairies?”
Seeing Kousuke’s completely surprised face, Kouhi understood in her heart.
It’s easy to forget recently, but Kousuke isn’t originally a resident of this world.
Things that are obvious to others can completely slip his mind.
“You know that nature in this world is supported by spirits, right? Fairies are beings that command those spirits. If the fairies are your familiars, perhaps they can exert their power in this divine realm as well?”
Kouhi only knew of two beings, Kousuke and Asura, who could create divine realms themselves.
Therefore, she couldn’t state it definitively, but Kouhi decided to offer her advice.
Kousuke looked dumbfounded at Kouhi’s advice.
“The fairies…? No, now that you mention it, that’s true, but why didn’t I think of it…”
As he said this, Kousuke clutched his head.
He wanted the hour he had spent worrying back, but of course, he wouldn’t say it.
Saying such a thing would only trouble Kouhi, and he knew it was his own fault for not thinking of it.
With a deep sigh, Kousuke shook his head and decided to summon four (five?) fairies.
“Sylph, Sara, Dine, Noel. Could you come out?”
As Kousuke called out to them, the summoned fairies appeared all at once.
“Older Brother, it’s been a while~”
Led by Sylph, who waved her right hand, each fairy offered their own greeting.
It had been a while since Kousuke had summoned all four types of fairies at once.
When he needed materials from dangerous monsters, he usually relied on Kouhi or Mitsuki, so Kousuke himself rarely got caught up in major battles.
And as long as such battles didn’t occur, there was no need to summon the fairies.
At least, not until now.
Kousuke explained the situation to the summoned fairies.
“…So, I’d like you to create some nature in this space… can you do it?”
“We can!”
“No problem.”
“Alright.”
“(Nod)”
In response to Kousuke’s question, the fairies replied in their own way.
Kousuke couldn’t help but give a wry smile at their nonchalant answers.
If they had answered this quickly, he should have asked them from the start, but he couldn’t even think of it when he was troubled.
Reflecting on this belatedly, Kousuke immediately shook his head, forgot about it, and gave instructions to the fairies.
“Well then, could you please do it? I’ll leave the specifics of how to arrange everything to each of you.”
Thinking that his own instructions wouldn’t lead to anything good anyway, he decided to leave everything to the fairies.
He thought that if he interfered, the environment would likely become chaotic, so he decided it was better to leave it to the experts.
Following Kousuke’s instructions, the fairies flew towards the center of the divine realm Kousuke had created.
The current divine realm was about the size of an elementary school gymnasium.
Therefore, even though they flew to a distant spot, they weren’t so far away as to be invisible.
As Kousuke watched, the fairies who had flown off stopped for a moment and then immediately began to spin around in place.
Kousuke didn’t know what was happening, but he knew it was a necessary ritual for them, so he just watched without getting in the way.
Eventually, the fairies began to shine in their respective colors, and then the four-colored lights swirled upwards like a tornado.
The moment the vortex reached high into the sky, it emitted light, and that light spread throughout the divine realm.
When the scattered light fell to the ground, the artificial ground turned into soil, and a giant magic circle appeared on it.
The magic circle blinked with various lights for a few seconds before naturally rising, separating itself from the ground.
As the magic circle ascended, a wide variety of plants began to sprout and grow from the ground.
By the time the magic circle disappeared in the sky, nature had formed in the divine realm that had been just empty space.
The four types of fairies approached Kousuke, who was watching the whole process in a daze.
“It’s done~ Praise us, praise us!”
“Well done.”
“Do you have any complaints?”
“(Gaze)”
Seeing the fairies say this happily, Kousuke took a deep breath and smiled.
“No. It’s better than I imagined. …Ah, that’s right. Would you like anything as a reward?”
Kousuke said this on impulse, but the fairies immediately became serious and started whispering to each other, gathering in one spot.
Kousuke watched them without disturbing them.
Eventually, when they had decided what they wanted, Sylph approached him.
“For our reward, we want divine power!”
“Divine power? Is that all you want?”
“Yes! Actually, we used a lot of our power for the work we just did, so we would be very happy if we could receive it.”
“I see. Understood. I’ll share my divine power with all of you.”
Kousuke, looking convinced by Sylph’s words, immediately began to share his divine power with the fairies.
It goes without saying that Kousuke, returning to the management layer with a satisfied look, was interrogated by Silvia and the others about this divine realm, and everyone was taken aback.
Kousuke (and the fairies) have messed up again.
Kousuke didn’t realize it at the time of creation, but it was equivalent to creating a new world.
As you might guess from the usual pattern at the end, Silvia and the others noticed, of course lol.
