Chapter Eleven: The Most Worrisome Thing
“What’s wrong?”
Leia held Yifu’s hand and looked up at her with a curious expression.
Just a moment ago, it was Yifu who was telling her not to be nervous, but now Yifu inexplicably seemed to be nervous herself.
Leia carefully examined the princess sitting on the sofa; she looked very gentle, her beautiful face adorned with a smile like a warm spring breeze, as if just one glance could melt hearts.
To Leia, this princess was like a beautiful, gentle older sister who did not frown at her upon seeing her, but instead, Leia could read warmth from her smile.
Although Leia couldn’t be certain that this princess liked her, at least she could be sure the princess did not dislike her.
This was already quite rare for Leia. In this world, it seemed that only Yifu would not dislike her, and this was the second beautiful sister who treated her gently.
Why would such a lovely princess make Yifu act so nervous?
“Nothing.”
Yifu cleared her throat, hiding some of her embarrassment.
In fact, she was not nervous; she was scared… scared that the princess would reveal her true nature in front of the child.
But fortunately, everything seemed normal, and Yifu also breathed a sigh of relief.
“What a lovely child, is she your daughter?”
Facing Yifu, who had transformed into a melancholy white-haired lady, the princess didn’t show much reaction.
She didn’t even ask, “How did you become like this?” Instead, she looked Yifu up and down with a somewhat scrutinizing gaze, appearing quite satisfied.
It seemed that for her, recognizing Yifu was as simple as eating or drinking.
This was also why Yifu couldn’t guarantee that her change in appearance would be 100% effective; the princess before her was one of the few in this country who could recognize Yifu.
Moreover, she didn’t seem surprised at all that Yifu had died for two years and then resurrected.
It was precisely because of her calmness that Yifu felt a bit uneasy.
Clearly a princess, someone ordinary people could never hope to reach in their lifetimes, yet Yifu rarely interacted with her and often tried to avoid her.
She wished to take a detour, walking on different paths. If the princess walked this way, Yifu would walk the other. If the princess insisted on walking the same path as Yifu, Yifu preferred to dig a tunnel to avoid her.
“Her name is Leia.”
“Oh? I recall, the genius girl from the Church Academy, she must be graduating soon, right? Little sister, have you considered working under your big sister?”
The princess’s voice was soft, causing Leia’s heart to race.
Looking at the princess’s extremely cute smile, Leia instinctively wanted to nod, but then as if recalling something, she shook her head vigorously.
“I… I haven’t graduated yet.”
Leia lowered her eyes; to be honest, she dreamed of graduating smoothly from the Church Academy, but sadly… she didn’t have that opportunity.
“That’s also why I came to find you. If possible, I hope you can help me.”
Yifu’s words piqued the princess’s interest, and her smile became more pronounced.
“I see, it seems you’ve encountered something tricky. After all, the one you can ultimately rely on in this world is still me.”
The princess cleared her throat; her words were like the warm sunlight of spring, making one feel both warm and assured.
Combined with her soft voice, it seemed to fill the room with a sense of security.
But Leia only saw the surface, while Yifu noticed the issue… this woman, she discreetly licked her tongue while speaking to Yifu!
“I can certainly help you, but this matter is something for adults to discuss, right, little sister Leia? How about letting this maid sister take you next door for some snacks?”
“Is that… okay?”
After all, Leia was still a child, and the temptation of snacks was quite strong for her.
“Of course.”
“Then… thank you, sister.”
Leia awkwardly bent down, lifting her somewhat dirty skirt and giving a somewhat clumsy curtsy to the princess.
Her adorable demeanor made the princess smile even more.
“Alright, off you go. After I discuss this with Miss Yifu and we have results, I’ll call for you. Don’t worry, your sister will definitely uphold justice for you.”
The princess gently ruffled Leia’s little head with her delicate, fair hand, her tone full of gentleness and affection.
Little Leia was left in a daze.
Thinking, after all, she was a good friend of Yifu’s mother, truly just as graceful and gentle as her.
“Okay!”
Leia followed the maid out, leaving only Yifu and the princess in the large reception room.
The room fell into silence for a moment, and when the footsteps outside faded away, the princess’s smile gradually turned sinister.
By the time Yifu reacted, the princess had already pounced on her with a speed that no human could achieve.
“Hahaha, Yifu, you’re really alive! What are you wearing? So beautiful, a melancholic white-haired lady? How did you know this is my favorite look? You’re trying to please me, aren’t you?”
“Sister! Sister! You smell so good! I can’t be dreaming, right? Hahaha…”
The princess’s small, delicate nose was constantly sniffing Yifu, greedily capturing the unique fragrance emanating from her, almost pressing against Yifu’s alluring curves.
With her prettiest face and the most gentle voice, she spoke perverted words that contrasted sharply with her appearance…
In response, Yifu, pinned to the ground, expressed nothing but resignation, as if this kind of situation had long been routine for her.
“It’s a familiar scent; do you know how much I missed you?”
The princess loomed over Yifu, looking up from below, her nearly perfect body curve on full display.
As she spoke, she pointed to the sofa she had just been sitting on.
There, a large wet spot was clearly visible…
It must be tea, right? It surely was just tea that accidentally spilled…
Yifu couldn’t help but swallow hard; to be honest, she didn’t believe her own words, it was indeed a bit self-deceiving.
“The reminiscing can wait; about what I told you…”
“Oh, the Church Academy? It’s not worth mentioning at all; I can casually write a couple of recommendation letters to the Church Academy. But compared to that, aren’t you curious about what color underwear I’m wearing today?”
“What’s the connection between the two…?”
Yifu felt a bit embarrassed.
