The knight took the envelope inside, and soon after, a maid rushed out, panting, following the knight.
Dressed in a simple black-and-white maid outfit, she wore high heels but moved with remarkable agility.
When she saw Yifu and Leia, her expression clearly showed some surprise.
After all, the two were dressed rather plainly, and due to Leia’s previous visit to the graveyard, she even looked a bit dirty.
However, recalling how excited her princess had been, the maid still approached them with a smile.
“Honored ladies, my princess invites you to move to the reception room for a discussion; please follow me.”
Seeing the maid’s respectful demeanor and the stark contrast to the knight’s earlier attitude, Leia felt like Yifu was a superhero.
Just a few words and an envelope could earn her such deep respect from the palace staff, and even the princess was willing to meet them personally?
“What was written in the envelope you sent in?” Leia asked curiously.
But to this question, Yifu’s gaze faltered, unsure of how to respond.
“Children shouldn’t ask questions like that; it’s still too early for you.”
“Oh…”
Leia nodded, half-understanding.
If Yifu didn’t want to say, it must have her own deeper meaning.
