“Hey, Marius.”
Barra and Lovisa called Marius by his first name, blushing.
“Yes. Barra, Lovisa.”
Marius, however, replied in a familiar tone, which didn’t amuse his two wives.
“Hmph, it feels like you’re too accustomed to women,” Barra pouted.
Lovisa also regarded her husband with a scrutinizing gaze. “That’s true. Could you possibly be a womanizer?”
Marius, who had a guilty conscience, desperately wracked his brain and summoned his familiars. “These guys have experience with this, you know.”
Seeing the beautiful, well-figured, and alluring trio, they had no choice but to back down.
“Thanks for the help, you guys.”
“We’ll take our thanks in bed,” Zofi said, leading the request.

A battle of women erupted without Marius’ knowledge.
“You are, after all, the First Princess Consort for political reasons,” Lovisa stated. Barra was not to be outdone.
“There are plenty of cases where political standing and actual standing are the same, aren’t there?” Although her lips curved into a smile, her eyes were sharp.
Zofi scoffed at the two of them. “You’re both terrible at it. I’m the best.” She puffed out her chest, causing it to sway.
It seemed they couldn’t win in a battle of physical attributes, but they weren’t sure about other aspects.
“Gentlemen prefer virtuous women, you know? In that sense, you’re out of the running,” Barra taunted, and Zofi’s eyebrows twitched.
“Hmph, that’s just human conjecture. Our true name is Lilim. ‘Succubus’ is a name you humans arbitrarily gave us.”
As Barra fell silent, Lovisa countered. “But that’s what monsters are called, isn’t it?”
“Hmph, I thought you were a doll-woman, but you’ve become quite human-like, haven’t you?” Invisible sparks flew between Lovisa and Zofi.
“I was originally human. That’s just your own assumption.”
“I’ll return that sentiment. We are more devoted and value loyalty more than you think. That’s why we’re conversing with you like this.”
Barra and Lovisa thought Zofi was unusually formidable today. She would usually be easily dismissed… Just as they thought that, El stuck out her tongue from behind Zofi. When they thought the mystery was solved, Emma joined in.
“But, Lady Barra and Lady Lovisa are your master’s wives. As familiars who value loyalty, you should show them proper respect, shouldn’t you?”
“Guh.”
Perhaps this attack was unexpected, Zofi fell silent with a frustrated expression. Just as Barra, Lovisa, and Emma thought they had won, El spoke.
“But the competition for affection is a different matter, isn’t it? After all, Lovisa and Barra, who have different standing, are competing.”
“Aww.” The counterattack had silenced them.

“In the end, we didn’t get to play our part…” Zofi drooped her tail, dejected.
“It can’t be helped. It’s not customary to call anyone other than the wife on the wedding night,” El said, unfazed as she had expected this.
“Oh, an insect,” Al said, looking out the window, bored.
