Elnet’s unit entered the north entrance/exit from the courtyard and ran through the first floor, aiming for the stairs to the upper levels. With their swords drawn, they hurried, remaining vigilant to deal with enemies appearing from anywhere. During the pre-teleportation briefing, after moving to the courtyard, Elnet’s unit would infiltrate the castle from the north, head for the upper floors, and prioritize the rescue of royalty likely to be left behind while checking the private rooms and official chambers of each royal. Meanwhile, the unit led by the副官 (adjutant) would infiltrate the castle from the south, remain on the lower floors, sweep away the enemy, protect royalty, aristocrats, and servants who might be left behind, and block those attempting to escape the castle. They would confirm the status of the drawbridge at the main gate, which might be closed by the Duchy’s Army, and secure an escape route for any remaining people to safely exit the castle. As Elnet ran up the stairs, she stationed personnel on the second floor to provide surveillance until the entire unit could move to the third floor.

Elnet and her group hurried up the stairs and arrived at the third floor. Elnet sprinted down the corridor and had arrived in front of the First Prince’s room. Her command unit had been split into several groups to search the vast castle, so only nine soldiers remained with Elnet. Driven by personal feelings and a desire to hurry, she wanted to bypass the First Prince’s room and head for the King’s room. However, she couldn’t simply pass by a royal’s room without checking its condition, so she had her unit wait in front of the room.
“It seems to be locked. All right, we’ll storm the First Prince’s room to assess the situation. Everyone, prepare yourselves.”

Elnet sensed enemy soldiers inside and gently pushed the door to avoid detection. However, it was locked from the inside, and the door wouldn’t budge. She then signaled the other soldiers, deciding to force entry.

Elnet and the soldiers rammed the door simultaneously. The force was too much for the lock, and the metal fixture flew off, opening the door.

Elnet snapped back to attention when called by her subordinate soldiers. Though she had personal animosity towards the First Prince, the act of defiling the Princess Consort was unforgivable, and she ordered her soldiers an attack to protect Bine.

“That’s right. Let us show you the results of our training!”
Following Elnet’s instructions from the training ground, her soldiers did not act individually but faced the enemy soldiers in groups of three. Not long after Elnet kicked the Duchy’s Army soldier away, her subordinate soldiers, though struggling, defeated the Duchy’s Army soldiers and eliminated the enemy forces in the First Prince’s room.

Bine, who had been assaulted by the Duchy’s Army soldiers, had multiple cuts and bruises on her skin where her clothes had been disordered. Elnet confirmed the damage status of her own soldiers. A few had sustained minor injuries, but the overall damage was negligible. Elnet felt relieved and praised her soldiers.

Once Bine had calmed down a bit, she felt a complex mix of emotions about showing her humiliating state to her former rival. With that thought passing, she remembered her husband, the First Prince, Randolph, and asked what had become of him.

When Elnet asked her soldiers, a soldier who had been searching the back of the bed shook his head downwards, out of consideration for Bine. That gesture made her understand Randolph’s condition.
“All right, half of you, stay here to protect Lady Bine and guard the captured enemy soldiers. The rest, follow me, we’re moving on.”

As a unit leader, Elnet could not remain at this location. She decided to leave half of her soldiers behind to protect Bine and guard the captured soldiers.
“Bine, please wait here for a while. I must proceed further.”
“I understand. Elnet, I pray for your success.”

Elnet spoke to Bine, then stood up. Leaving five soldiers behind, she took the remaining four soldiers and exited the room, proceeding forward.
