“Thank you for today, Kent. I’ll see you at school again. You too, Al!”
“See you at school then.”
“Goodbye Lady Caro.”
After finishing his meeting with Baron Frederick, Kent and Al left the mansion, seen off by Caro.
“Lady Caro is a truly pure-hearted and wonderful person. As expected, she’s just as Master chose.”
“Agreed. She’s a really good kid.”
Kent and Al walked through the town, talking. To onlookers, they must have looked like suspicious people muttering to themselves, but Kent was so engrossed in his conversation with Al that he forgot to pay attention to their surroundings.
Being a holiday, the main street was bustling with people. To avoid the crowd, they walked down a side street, and Al seemed to notice something.
“Master, did you hear a scream just now?”
“Huh? I didn’t hear anything.”
Even though it was a side street, it wasn’t completely deserted. There was still some foot traffic, so any small sounds would have been drowned out. Kent hadn’t heard anything, but Al, being a fairy, might have sharper senses.
“Which direction did it come from?”
“Master, this way.”
Al flew ahead as if to guide him, and Kent followed.
“She’s got a nice body even though she looks plain. Boss, let’s finish her off quickly.”
“Don’t rush. First, let’s strip her clothes off nicely first.”
In an alley two streets off the one Kent and his companions were walking on, three burly men had cornered a young woman.
“…Please stop.”
The woman pleaded with a weak voice.

One of the men tore at the woman’s clothes. Her upper body was exposed, revealing her well-shaped breasts.

As he rounded the corner and entered the alley, he saw a woman completely naked, surrounded by three men. The woman was being held down by one man, her breasts were being groped by another, and the man who appeared to be the leader was reaching into his pants, about to expose himself.

Startled by Kent’s voice, the three men turned around almost simultaneously.
“Hey, kid. We’re kinda busy right now. We advise you to leave and go somewhere else.”
The man with his hand on his pants put them back and spoke to Kent.
“Please, help me.”
The woman pleaded with Kent for help. Frankly, Kent knew he couldn’t win against three burly men. However, he couldn’t back down when asked for help.
“You three, get away from that woman!”
Kent shouted at the three men.
“Kid, are you looking for a fight? You’ve got some nice clothes on. Looks like you’ve got some money. Heh heh heh.”
Kent was wearing the clothes Marie had given him. He had been wearing them frequently for outings lately. They were Kent’s best outfit.
“Well, don’t expect us to apologize if you die. Though, you won’t be able to apologize if you do die. Hahaha.”
Saying that, the three men pulled out knives from their clothes.
“Master. Please leave this to me. Master, please stay a little distance away from them.”
“Understood. I’m counting on you.”
Kent accepted Al’s offer and replied in a low voice.
“What are you muttering about? You two, go!”
The leader spoke, and the other two men, brandishing knives, lunged at Kent. As Al had instructed, Kent retreated, creating distance.
“I won’t let them lay a hand on Master!”
A large number of tentacle-like things (technically plant vines, but…) emerged from the ground, entangling the two men.
“Uwah! What is this?”
“Boss! Help us!”
The two men, unable to move, cried out to the leader for help.
“What is this? Using strange things. Could this be a sorcerer?”
The leader was surprised by the sudden turn of events. However, being in an alley, there was no escape route, and he had no choice but to attack Kent.
“You wanna fight? You dare pull such a stunt.”
The leader, brandishing his knife, lunged at Kent.
“Master! Watch out!”
As Al cried out, new vines sprang from the ground and attacked the leader.
“This thing!”
The man cut away the attacking vines with his knife.
“Do you think I’ll fall for the same trick twice!”
The distance between the man and Kent closed, and Kent felt he was in danger. He hastily raised his hand to defend himself.
“Kent! Are you alright?”
Someone stepped between the man and Kent, deflecting the knife with a sword.
“I happened to see you entering the alley, so I came because I was worried.”
As he spoke, he knocked away the man’s knife with his sword and struck him.
“Gyaaa!!!”
The leader, slashed, collapsed on the spot. It was Elnet who had intervened.
“Sorry, I’m glad you helped me.”
“It’s nothing. When my important husband (to be) is in danger, I couldn’t not help.”
“Did you kill him?”
“No, it’s okay. He’s not in mortal danger… I think.”
“Did you hesitate for a moment there?”
Elnet scratched her cheek, saying that. She confirmed, but the man seemed to have only lost consciousness and was not in mortal danger.
“Al, could you tie these guys up too?”
“Yes, Master.”
“Oh? Is Alraune here too?”
“I am!”
Al appeared with a pop. The three men tied up with vines were lined up in a corner.
“Also, my name is Al from today. Thank you for saving Master.”
Al bowed deeply to Elnet.
“As your wife (to be), it was only natural.”
Elnet, with a determined expression, looked so cool that Kent thought any woman would fall for her.
“Well then, I’ll go call the guards. Kent, please take care of the woman over there. I can’t provide clothes.”
With that, Elnet left to summon the guards.
“Are you injured?”
Saying that, Kent approached the woman. There, Kent noticed something. The woman looked plain and inconspicuous, and was likely older than Kent. However, her naked, well-developed body was very alluring to a man. Kent calmed himself and feigned a composed demeanor.

Al remained unseen by the woman, floating beside Kent and observing the situation. Understanding Al’s position, Kent decided to proceed with the exchange without introducing her.
“I only recently moved to this town, and while I was exploring, I wasn’t looking where I was going and bumped into those people earlier, which led to this entanglement.”
“This town is generally quite safe, but there are rare instances of people like that. Please be careful.”
“Yes, thank you.”
“Kent, I’ve brought the guards.”
Elnet returned with the guards. They handed over the three men, and the woman who had been attacked was taken into protective custody. Only Kent, Elnet, and Al remained.
“That was quite an ordeal today. Just in case, I’ll escort you home.”
Elnet, saying that, half-forcefully escorted him home. Later, after hearing the story, Marie hugged Kent to her ample chest and said.
“Kent, please don’t do anything reckless.”
Beside her, Elnet was regretfully placing her hand on her own chest.
