“Oh, Mogunami, perfect timing!”
“…Yes.”
I bumped into a busty female maid in a white maid outfit as she was entering the Guild.
No, those are some serious breasts. If I stare too long, Nina and Clarice will punish me for it later, so I’ll avert my eyes. Thus, I can only hear Hazukki’s conversation.
“I’m about to guide the adventurers to the villa. Please speak to Amay for a moment and then come help here, Mogunami.”
“Understood…”
Alright, it seems we’ve entered the Guild.
That busty maid, whose chest seems to double her area when viewed from above.
She would be really popular at the Adventurer Guild of a big city. While waiting, Nina asks,
“Who was that?”
“She’s an assistant. She’s a part-timer, a maid, and a general errand runner. She’s not an official staff member, but she does cleaning, temporary reception, office work, accounting, training for new adventurers, and also works as a dance lesson coach, self-defense coach, makeup artist, assistant villa management, lunch duty, warehouse management, and the Adventurer Guild Master’s mistress.”
…I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that last part.
“The last part is okay?”
You’re asking, Nina!!
“Yes, Amay pays her properly and separately for that.”
I wonder how much she gets paid as a mistress…
“…Apologies for the wait.”
Mogunami returned. She has short blue hair and is perhaps a little taller than average.
Come to think of it, her face looks rather sullen, or rather, expressionless and cold, but she’s beautiful.
However, my eyes are still drawn to her chest, which is still too large compared to her face. As I approach, my height means I can’t see her face from this angle.
(It’s because I have to look up at her!!)
“She is also an Assassin. She’s not as fast as I am, but she can manage to lose enemies.”
“I work at the Adventurer Guild and Commercial Guild of Zazam. I’m not a full-time employee, but I look forward to working with you.”
This place is amazing. The staff are a Sage and an Assassin, and there’s even a part-time Assassin.
(We should be able to manage even with a small number of people.)
There are a fair number of residents scattered around the town.
But as I heard, many fled, so it feels deserted.
“During the hot season, the sea breeze was cool, and it was a perfect villa area for fishing…”
Hazukki looked a little sad.
But her quick pace is incredibly fast. So fast.
Is this how she normally walks? I’m already out of breath just trying to keep up.
(I’ll use un-cast acceleration magic.)
When we reached the outskirts of the town, there were neat lines drawn.
Beyond that, there were countless eerie monsters wriggling about.
There were Shadow-types, and also many terrifying monsters that weren’t Shadow-types but looked dangerous.
“Now, please follow me. Those who fall behind will be used as bait by Mogunami. In the meantime, head towards me. If you get lost, shout loudly.”
“What about following while fighting?”
“That’s fine, as long as you can keep up.”
Hazukki made eye contact with each of us three.
I guess she meant, “Let’s go,” and after nodding to Mogunami, we headed to the drawn line… and suddenly dashed!!
(S-So fast!!)
Nina and I also dashed to keep up.
Clarice and Mogunami followed a little behind.
Dodging eerie and terrifying enemies with light steps, we quickly reached the villa district!
(You really don’t have time to fight them.)
If I could, maybe Anju could, but that would likely be a single shot.
Clarice’s area magic might work if used repeatedly, but even if she cleared the surroundings temporarily, the monsters from further away would likely gather in a huge swarm, which is terrifying.
(Oops, I grazed an enemy.)
I looked and saw a clearly dangerous enemy called a Death Shadow.
The part it grazed was cleanly shaved off, and I felt a shiver. Cold sweat broke out.
(Clarice… yes, she’s fine.)
I saw Mogunami drawing enemy attention around Clarice.
She’s skillful. Being nimble is good, but the way her chest bounces is extreme.
I want to look a little more, but I have to focus on keeping up. After all, the enemies are extreme.
(Are these coming out from the Demon Lord’s Castle? What’s inside…?)
It used to be a popular hunting ground, so it shouldn’t have been this bad.
I wonder if I could find out by reading the notice about the Demon Lord’s Castle that’s posted.
As we kept running like this, the vast Demon Lord’s Castle loomed closer and closer in the distance.
(Which means my villa is… yes, here.)
There was a large door with a large keyhole.
Hazukki took out a large key from her Item Bag.
With terrifyingly quick movements, she opened the door and welcomed Nina and me inside.
“Come, this way!”
Clarice arrived a moment later, but a large flying enemy called a Massacre Beelzebub was approaching. As she hastily tried to dive inside, Mogunami rushed in from behind her and pushed her inside together!!
*Bang!!*
Hazukki closed the door.
It’s a double door, but it seems like closing one side closes the other simultaneously.
That large fly-like enemy from before, I wonder if Nina’s sword even pierced it…
(It looks like it could have escaped with it still stuck in.)
Finally, we entered and settled down inside the villa.
The entrance hall was incredibly clean. Not a speck of dust.
Amazing. It’s not sparkling, but it’s perfectly comfortable.
“I just cleaned it the day before yesterday. I’ll show you around.”
The hallway was clean, the rooms were clean, and the windows were also wiped clean.
As we walked, there was a window at the very end of the hallway. I looked outside, but it was the wall of the Demon Lord’s Castle.
(Well, the sunlight is the worst!!”
