“Welcome back.”
“Ah, Mogunami, you’re still here?”
“My shift ends in a few minutes, so my work here is also over.”
In other words, it’s just before midnight.
At the Adventurer Guild reception of the Great Tree, besides Mogunami, the other three workstations are manned by Urban Lamias.
(Because they’ve become one with Amatatsu-san, they’re awake but also asleep.)
It seems plants are like that.
“I guess there’s no one left in this meeting room anymore.”
“Yes, they’re all resting in their lodging rooms. Their luggage is here.”
“It can’t be helped during the workshop. I’ll use it for a while.”
And so, we went into the Adventurer Guild meeting room.
Further inside, it says ‘Guild Master’s Room.’
Is that Mogunami’s room? For now, everyone sits down wherever they please.
“Now, Natsu-nee, about that Yukaa-rin, was it?”
“It’s Yukaa-rin-senpai.”
“Please tell me more about that Rabbit-beastman.”
Natsu-nee began to explain in a monotone, still with a dark expression.
“Senpai is a famous Summoner in Samin, and as an adventurer, she’s the leader of an S-Class Party called ‘Rabbit’s Little Room.’ I used to belong to it before and she helped me a lot…”
She wiped away tears with a handkerchief with a rabbit pattern.
“How did they end up inside ‘Shear’?”
“I don’t know. They were originally a prankster known as ‘Mischievous Black Rabbit,’ and they were popular and skilled. But, around the time I left, they were getting too old for it…”
Black Rabbit, they probably have black fur.
“Then, what about the remaining two, ‘Gura’ and ‘Xeno’?”
“Perhaps the two sub-leaders, ah, there were two sub-leaders. They might be Hochan-senpai, the white rabbit, and Nanna-senpai, the blue rabbit.”
Rabbit-beastmen have a wide variety of fur colors, don’t they?
Well, there was even a Rabbit-beastman who looked like a bear at the Guild Master’s.
“Understood. I can ask the Guild Master of Saminse about those two.”
“If they’re still adventurers and not inside that Golem, it’ll be quick.”
“That’s what I want to pray for. And that Summon…”
“Sky Penguin. Its sharpness, speed, and destructive power are terrifying.”
Flying penguins! I was so surprised.
“Does it have any weaknesses?”
“Its rear is weak, but that Summon itself is like a disposable weapon.”
“So we have to defeat the main body, the Summoner.”
“Yes…”
On this matter, even if Iwamoto-san tries his best alone, there are limits. And Clarice-san’s Barrier magic won’t let us attack from the inside.
(It seems we can only rely on Bard skills.)
Nina-san is probably thinking the same thing.
“…Alright, understood. Until Shear appears again, we’ll focus on raising Bard levels. Does anyone have any opinions on this?”
“Yes, Nina-sama.”
“Clarice, what is it?”
“Will the location be the Noctil Mountain Range again?”
“Yes, that’s the plan.”
“I also want to raise Whitebeard.”
That’s also like a monster version of a Bard in terms of abilities.
“Hmm, in that case, shall we carve out that cave fortress so Whitebeard can enter and exit?”
“That’s right. Or, we could let another team handle raising it.”
“Then where would the hunting grounds be?”
“It’s Anju Castle!”
“Hmm, but Anju, is Whitebeard capable of fitting inside that castle due to its size?”
“We can make them attack when enemies appear!”
Right, we don’t have to go inside, we can just let them overflow.
“Then I’ll leave that to Anju, but you have school tomorrow, right?”
“Yeees. I might sleep at the villa today, leaving the old guys out there.”
“Speaking of those three…”
“I sent them to the villa right when we arrived.”
What if we need to ask them something during the meeting?
Well, with Anju-chan, she can just bring them here instantly.
“Alright, understood. Is there anything else?”
“Um, is it alright?”
Someone spoke up from an unexpected direction. It was Mogunami, peeking her head through the meeting room door.
“What is it? It’s past midnight and you’re off work already.”
“We’re not that strict about schedules… Nina-sama, you have a message from Mariu-sama.”
“What is it?”
“The content is something he wants you to ask about at the Commercial Guild. Mariu-sama has already retired for the night.”
I ask Mogunami.
“Didn’t you say Mariu-san could forge for three days and three nights straight?”
“Yes, but he wants to take care of his skin for Lord Derus, so he even had a hot spring installed in the blacksmithing area.”
“Can you do something like that? Wait, could there be a hot spring in my room too?!”
“I cannot say.”
There are vines in this meeting room that could connect to Amatatsu-san.
But, well, it’s fine. It seems the meeting is over anyway, so I can check myself.
Nina asks Mogunami again.
“Are there still people at the Commercial Guild?”
“They operate 24 hours, so there’s at least one person at night. It’s a Dwarf…
By the way, at the Adventurer Guild, there’s at least one Urban Lamia connected by vines from midnight to morning.”
Setting aside the Commercial Guild, I wonder if the Urban Lamia at the Adventurer Guild can actually handle reception duties. Well, maybe they’re just on standby.
“Alright, if there’s nothing else, we’ll disband. I’m going to the Commercial Guild. Derus…”
“Yes, I’m hungry too, so in my room… with Clarice-san.”
“What?!”
“Ah, it’s purely for consultation. I’ll properly report the content to Nina-san later.”
And so, I moved with Clarice-san to the SSS Room of the Great Tree, which had become Lv5.
(Now, let’s discuss this alone… about Ric-older sister.)
