Chapter 8: Characters Introduced So Far (Nina Starlights Associate Members Edition)
[Mariu] Warrior
Mariu is the Dwarf Princess of the Movermas Continent and Deres’ wife, exclusively within the Dwarf Country. She met Shucco at his flea market while looking to enhance her weapons and armor, and used a “Ticket of Embrace for a Dwarf I Like” she happened to have to embrace him.
She looks like a rough-hewn Dwarf without the beard. Despite being the same height as Deres, her entire body is terrifyingly muscular. As a Blacksmith, she is top-class on the continent but is too kind-hearted, readily agreeing to any request. In the past, she had Dwarves guarding her to prevent others from easily approaching her.
Since being embraced by Deres for the first time, she has developed a slightly yandere-like affection for him. Deres and his party used this to obtain high-end equipment and items, but the situation escalated beyond mere burns, and a wedding ceremony was ultimately held in her absence.
Afterward, she remodeled her face to Deres’ liking and improved Teleport Scrolls, effectively relocating to the forge in the basement of Great Heavenly Tree Building 1. While working as a blacksmith, she allowed her Dwarf companions (subordinates?) to take over the attached Commercial Guild, and they are now producing and selling incredibly rare weapon and armor items.
[Mogunami] Assassin
Mogunami is an assassin with short blue hair and a firm, large bust. She oversees the sub-organizations of Nina Starlights and also serves as the Guild Master of the Great Heavenly Tree Adventurer Guild.
She was originally a temporary staff member at the Guild in Zazam, a port town in the Mu Mu Empire. As Deres found her exceptionally capable in many areas and received her cooperation, Deres jokingly proposed an incredibly lucrative offer to recruit her, which she accepted.
She was in an extramarital affair with the Guild Master of Zazam and his wife, receiving compensation. However, sensing she was about to be murdered, Deres’ proposal came at the perfect time. Nina handled the finer details.
In her youth, she was involved in a rivalry for a man she genuinely loved in Zazam. As a result, she lost and, in a park at night, she and the other loser vowed never to fall in love or marry again. Because of this, she has no intention of becoming Deres’ concubine.
She opens a “Solo Brothel” once a week in her hometown of Zazam. Deres has indeed enjoyed Mogunami at the Great Heavenly Tree, but he commented, “She looked firm, but it was just a lot of elasticity.”
[Natsu-nee] Assassin
Natsu-nee is a Rabbit-beastman woman who was formerly a renowned Adventurer in Asrik, the Fifth City of the Mu Mu Empire. Initially, she tried to ensnare Deres with charm magic to make him her own but was stopped by Nina and others. She then shifted her target to Shusher, an assassin she faced in Shucco’s Tournament, which she won.
While participating in the subjugation of the Seven Great Demon Lords, her party disbanded due to their leader’s retirement. She decided to become independent and purchased a small hut next to “Nina Castle,” Deres’ base in Shucco, which she now shares with the defeated Shusher as their love nest (a love-filled rabbit hutch).
She has effectively joined the Nina Starlights sub-organization as a freelancer. She quickly responds to calls and requests from Nina and her companions, assisting in the subjugation of the Seven Great Demon Lords and conducting various investigations behind the scenes. She is now considered as strong as a regular member.
[Shusher] Assassin
Shusher is a young, skilled assassin who studied practical skills in the afternoon session at Anju’s school. Initially, he was just Anju’s friend but began cooperating with Nina Starlights. It was as if he was on loan from his original organization to serve as a crucial companion when an assassin was needed.
However, after being publicly humiliated and defeated by Natsu-nee in the fighting tournament, a twisted perversion seemed to awaken within him, and he fell into Natsu-nee’s clutches, becoming her partner. Nina reportedly visited his former party with sweets to apologize for this.
His abilities are more than sufficient, and with Natsu-nee as his dedicated tutor, his growth is not an issue. However, Deres feels a slight sense of guilt for having led him into the “kemono” (beast-lover) trap, as it was a form of substitution for himself.
[Kaumi] Bard
Kaumi is a Bard of the Mermaid Race. She sings with castanets, but her repertoire consists solely of vulgar songs (erotic songs). She continuously used a “Race Change Scroll” (2 hours) to cast support magic with her Bard skills, and of course, displayed her abilities to the fullest underwater. However, her songs are, in a way, unbearable lyrically.
She has a tendency to indulge in fantasies and eagerly anticipates doing various things with Deres, only to cover it up with “Well…” or similar phrases. However, her expression when fantasizing makes it obvious to anyone that she’s a bit deranged. Her combat strength has significantly increased, and further contributions are expected after the Great Tree Building No. 2 grows.
[Camilla] Swordsman
Camilla is a tanned female swordsman who wields a wind-attribute sword. She has a great figure and is quite popular in Shucco. It is said that during her time as a slave, she constantly received offers of emancipation and recruitment, but she remains loyal to her mistresses, the Princess Sisters Natara and Lyra, and wields her sword for them in the sub-organization.
Her swordsmanship is undeniable, but early in her slavery, she attempted to set a honey trap for Deres to improve the treatment of the Princess Sisters and herself. However, she was too eager to offer her body for a low price. In Deres’ opinion, she earned the nickname “Disappointing Slut,” and they have never been intimate.
She privately hoped for an opportunity, thinking she might become one of Deres’ concubines, the Eighth Wife, after being invited to Deres’ home (albeit for security purposes) and during training with a virtual Ric, where Deres told her she could do as she pleased if she defeated him. This is a secret.
[Baraka] Warrior
Like Camilla, Baraka was a female warrior who served the Princess Sisters in the former Karmasol Kingdom. Both her husband and son died in war, and she plays an important role in the sub-organization, still dreaming of her lost country’s revival. It is said that she often goes back and forth between Hero Jian and Eldoria, maintaining a good relationship.
She actually has excellent singing ability. During the Loser’s Revival Match of the Singer Contest, she suddenly declared she wanted to participate and followed Otuha to the venue on the day itself. She performed last with a soulful, rhythmic, and violent song taught by an Otherworlder, but she did not revive.
More will be added later! Next, we will recap the summoned Otherworlders and new Summons. As this is before the final chapter, the pace will be light and quick.

Deres: “Ah, yes. After you said no one else would appear in the Loser’s Revival Match, Baraka participated.”
Nina: “That was the morning of the final day, when she suddenly expressed her desire to participate and went with Otuha.”
Deres: “So I just didn’t know. And also, there were many other instances where things you said turned out to be different later on.”
Nina: “Those are ‘common occurrences.’ Don’t worry about it.”
Deres: “Haa.”
Well, maybe I just misunderstood, and Nina makes mistakes sometimes too.
Nina: “If you complain too much, I’ll shut your mouth.”
Deres: “H-how?”
Nina: “Like this!!”
And so, he was pushed down.
