“Delas, have you calmed down?”
“Yes, Nina. I slept reasonably well, and the marks on my body have been healed with magic.”
“Lord Delas, you look wonderful in that attire.”
“R-really? Thank you, Clarice.”
It’s evening in the Great Tree’s SSS Room, or rather, it’s already night. I was ravaged by a Lustful Berserker named Camilla, my new concubine, and after falling into an exhausted sleep, Nina and Clarice came to greet me.
(Camilla herself left during lunch and is apparently sleeping in her room.)
I slept so soundly that I passed out, so I missed lunch and am quite hungry.
“Now, about my family home,” Nina said.
“Yes, the Mishuron family of the Ailee Kingdom, right?”
“All the preliminary arrangements are already in place. It’s all up to me and Delas now.”
Huh? What does that mean?!
“What exactly is going to happen?”
“We’ll only do the bare minimum. Unlike your Avakane family, there’s no need to introduce all the concubines.”
Ah, I see. I’m just taking Nina, and we’re going to have the wedding ceremony in Ailee… we are, aren’t we?
“Then, what am I supposed to do?”
“You just have to endure.”
“Endure?”
“It’s more like I’m the one who has to endure. How much do you remember about the Mishuron family?”
Let me see…
“First, your grandfather, the Hero Take, you were fond of him, weren’t you?”
“Ah, it’s thanks to my grandfather that I have the Berserk Sword.”
“And after he passed away, your treatment at home became harsh, and you were sold to the Knights… was that it?”
Nina nodded slightly.
“You could say I was sold, but it was presented as a donation.”
“Ah, yes. And then, well, I did whatever I was told, and was even made to provide my body, though I’m not sure if that counts as work… I’m sorry for bringing up unpleasant memories.”
Nina gently stroked my cheek.
“No, I’ve already confirmed your memories. It’s fine. Of course, you can console me anytime you like?”
“Nina, you say that, but nineteen out of twenty times, you’re the one who attacks me…”
“Let’s get back to the topic.”
Clarice giggled.
“So, Nina, you thought you’d be promoted, but you were fired from the Knights, weren’t you? The Knight Commander was very keen on you and abused his authority, embracing you repeatedly? His name was Namban for sure, I remembered it when I fought a fake one a while ago.”
This time, Nina pinched my cheek.
“So, you perceive my body as so impure?”
“No, well, I thought if I said it like that, Nina might desire me more in our nightly bed…”
“What, it’s just a kink? Understood. Prepare yourself when we return from my family home.”
“Hahaha.”
Clarice was now laughing out loud.
“And then, in the end, Namban left you with nowhere to go, so you got married…”
“That’s right. I even got permission from my family home.”
“That’s terrible!”
“Well, he’s a slave of the castle now.”
“Ah, that’s right. Nina, did you get your ‘Payback’?”
“It’s fine. I don’t have that strong of feelings about it anymore.”
She’s quite detached about this. I’d like to believe it’s because I’m here, but…
“So, regarding your family home, you have two older brothers and two older sisters, and then two younger brothers and two younger sisters, right? And they were all from different mothers, or was it?”
“From my mother, I was the only one born. As for my siblings, I don’t get along with my older ones, but I’m very close to my younger ones.”
My older siblings are my enemies, but my younger siblings are attached to me. I used to write to them often. I remember them, almost naked, writing at their desks in the middle of the night after waking up in the same bed as me.
(Will I be able to see them again?)
Still, to have to meet people I don’t get along with… that’s the trial, isn’t it? So that’s why I just have to endure.
“So, I just need to behave in a way that doesn’t cause any trouble, right?”
“…If the preliminary arrangements have truly gone well, there should be no issues. However, they have rather unpleasant personalities, so they’ll likely want to say at least one unpleasant remark.”
Yeah, those kinds of people exist.
“And I have to endure that?”
“It’s not guaranteed they’ll say it just because they want to. But it’s not strange to imagine them muttering complaints in their hearts the whole time.”
…I can imagine that if Nina’s personality leaned towards the negative side, she would be truly difficult and troublesome.
(Perhaps her parents and siblings are just like that.)
A Duke’s family with four wives. There must be some conflict among them, among their own relatives.
“So, about the ‘preliminary arrangements’ that are all done?”
“The Ailee Kingdom is a port town, a trading nation, and the gateway to the continent.”
“It’s the country where I first landed on the Movermas Continent.”
And I was spectacularly preyed upon there… At first, I used to bite Nina’s handkerchief in bed, you know, because it was quite stimulating.
“Therefore, we need to pay attention to external relations. That’s why we’ve received pressure from the Mu Mu Empire, the continent’s greatest power, as well as King Shucco of the Dwarf Country, and the joint associations of the Dwarf Country, Adventurer Guild, and Commercial Guild.”
What’s this? It’s too much!
“What kind of pressure?”
“To treat us with utmost respect within the Ailee Kingdom. And as for the Empire, it’s natural since I will be the Count Palatine there.”
Nina must have really gone to various countries and negotiated this herself.
“So, perhaps even making an unpleasant remark…?”
“It would become an international incident. In essence, we are honored guests of the Ailee Kingdom.”
“Even among family?”
“She’s marrying out.”
“Ah, I see.”
“The pressure on the King alone must be considerable.”
Then, it would be even more so for a Duke’s family.
“Will we have guards?”
“About that, if we surround ourselves with guards from each country, conversation will become impossible.”
“So too much pressure is also bad?”
“By the way, we also have a document from Delas’s country.”
From Namusia Kingdom too?
“So our security will be…?”
“We’ve spoken with my family, and it’s been decided to have just one person for the minimum necessary security.”
“Just one person? Who?”
“Nastasia.”
“Yes!”
Oh, she’s here! She seemed to have been standing in the corner of the room the whole time.
“She is Delas’s only concubine who was born and raised in the Empire.”
“Ah, that’s right.”
“She’s here to watch for any disrespect towards me or Delas.”
“Master, this time I will be accompanying you solely as the ‘Hero of the Empire’.”
Her attire does look like that.
“And if there is any disrespect?”
“I have permission to cut them down.”
“Just for one unpleasant remark?!”
“For example, if you declare war on the ruler of a nation.”
“That level?!”
“Yes, that level.”
That’s terrifying. No, the ones who should be scared are the ones on the other side. Nina’s family… and the King of Ailee must be trembling in their boots too.
“Then Nina, aren’t you relieved?”
“No, to be honest, my father and the main wife and concubines are ‘not very bright’ or rather, they have no immunity to ‘holding back their words,’ so…”
“They might blurt something out.”
“That seems plausible.”
I can probably pretend not to hear some of it, but!
“Then Nina, shall we get this over with quickly and efficiently?”
“…I, on the other hand, want to say as many unpleasant things as I’ve held back until now.”
“What? Are you trying to provoke me, intentionally commit disrespect, and have my head chopped off?!”
“Emotionally, yes.”
Ah, I remember Nina went back alone, or at least, without me. She returned to her family home via the Ailee Adventurer Guild using a Teleport Scroll. When she came back, a Maid outfit that was tailored to her size was prepared, and they intended to have her perform maid duties at home.
(Of course, that included ‘clientele service’ in a certain sense…)
But thanks to that, Nina brought the Maid outfit back, and we were able to have various playtimes, like master and maid roleplay, or playing as a spy disguised as a maid who seduces me.
“W-well, let’s be adults about that part as well.”
“Ah, if anything happens, Delas, please stop me. I’m counting on you for this.”
“Understood. Nastasia, don’t just gratuitously cut anyone down either.”
“I intend to use threats extensively.”
And so, we prepared ourselves. Nina, the main wife, and I, accompanied by our guard, the ‘Empire’s Hero,’ headed to the Mishuron family home.
“Delas, I’ll give you this now.”
“Ah, the Item Bag. What’s this?”
“A gift.”
“Ah, ah, ah, what’s inside?”
“You may look.”
It was delicious, delicious High-class Monaka! There are two other types as well, with explanatory notes written on the back, which is quite thoughtful. A total of fifteen boxes, three types times five boxes. Is that the number of family heads and main wives/concubines? Can I give it to them all at once?
“Um, this is…”
“I’ll tell you when to present it.”
“Ah, yes.”
“Then, is that all? You don’t have anything else you personally want to give, Delas?”
“If you suddenly ask me now, nothing will come to mind.”
“Nastasia, let’s go.”
“Yes!”
Then, using a Teleport Scroll…
“Ah, Clarice, we’re leaving!”
(Here we go, first to the Ailee Adventurer Guild!)
Upon landing there, I witnessed something astonishing!
