At night, Fisher lay in bed and took out the notes on Subhumans. As the illusory text in front of him faded away, an unusual power surged into his body. Not only was his physical strength enhanced, but there was also a strange burning sensation in his lower abdomen, as if the strength of his waist and some parts of his body had also been significantly reinforced.
Especially now, it felt particularly hard and filled with a desire for aggression. He suddenly found Subhumans quite beautiful, especially the slender and fit forms of the Dragon Race along with their white and soft features.
He was stunned for a second or two before covering his face with a frown.
The Dragon Race could restrain their desires through the mechanism of Suitable Tail Partners, but humans were in a constant state of heat. The enhancement of reproductive ability made Fisher feel somewhat uncomfortable.
He took several deep breaths before forcing himself to look at a thin, ancient book that had appeared in his hands out of nowhere.
On the cover of the book, words that appeared like scales and blades read, “Feimabaha Royal Magic Book.”
Fisher, with great interest, turned on the light by the bed and opened the pages of the book. His thirst for research and knowledge temporarily overshadowed his intense reproductive desires as he began to carefully study the magic passed down through generations of the Dragon Race.
But soon he was disappointed to discover that his level of Feimabaha Dragon Tongue, granted by the completion manual, was not sufficient to fully comprehend the magic book in his hands. Many of the obscure and ancient descriptions far exceeded the level of everyday language, forcing Fisher to guess the operation rules of certain magics based on keywords.
Moreover, magic was an extremely rigorous discipline, and a slight misunderstanding could lead to severe magical accidents. Although it might also create a new type of magic, the risks were too high, and it was not wise for anyone who was not a master of magical theory to try.
After flipping through the book for a long time, Fisher finally found a couple of spells he could understand at his current level, such as the 【Feimabaha Dragon Breath】 that could summon massive flames and 【Feimabaha Dragon Flame】 which could create explosions in an instant.
The Dragon Race inscribed their magic on the weapons and armor they carried, releasing magic during close combat. This usually swept both foes and allies in the power of magic, leaving Fisher somewhat confused about their logic of using magic.
Furthermore, the destructive power of this magic was only considered low-level among the ancient magics of the Dragon Race. The magical circuits of the Dragon Race were much coarser than those of humans, and their methods for stirring the 【World Resonance】 were equally crude. Many magics would seem very dangerous from a human perspective.
Due to the lack of finesse, the recorded magic of the Dragon Race was sparse. Fisher believed he could master it soon but had to learn more profound Dragon Court language first.
Fisher got up and used a carving knife to inscribe a few magical runes of the Dragon Race on the table. Unlike human magic which forms a loop, this magic could be seen causing the surrounding air and space to slightly dent as it was being inscribed, transforming the runes on the table into a faint golden yellow.
More importantly, although Fisher’s current magical ability could complete all the magic runes, the side effects were much greater than ordinary magic. He was already beginning to suffer from headaches, and the magical circuits in his hands lit up, indicating just how much magic power was required for Dragon Race magic.
After finishing all the magic runes, Fisher rubbed his temples and looked at the magical lines on the table. The magic of dragons did not circulate like the rings of humans but followed a structure resembling teeth.
The 【Feimabaha Dragon Breath】 was now complete. Eager to try it, he put on his shoes, picked up the small table by the bed, left the carriage, and headed to the wilderness outside the cave.
The fog was still thick. Fisher placed the table down in front of him, stepped back several paces to ensure everything was alright, and then pointed with his finger. The magical lines on the table instantly flashed with blinding white light.
“Roar!”
That was not the roar of a Dragon Race but a massive explosion as flames erupted instantly. Just a second later, the spot on the table inscribed with the magic runes seemed to dent inward, and a large surge of flames shot out in a fire pillar extending dozens of meters.
Before Fisher could marvel at the power of the magic, the wooden table carrying the magic runes caught fire entirely, and even more terrifying, the table began to spin in the vacuous space of the dent.
Fisher’s expression changed as he watched the table, with its dozens of meters of fire pillars, spin like a top. He hurriedly ran back. Fortunately, his constitution had been enhanced again; otherwise, those burning flames would have scorched his pajamas.
“Boom!”
The magic, like a fiery storm, continued until it burned through the entire table, leaving behind a ground covered in steam and charred remains, before gradually coming to a halt.
Is this the magic of the Dragon Race?
Although the destructive power was immense, it was too unstable, unexpectedly burning the magic runes away. This was the first time Fisher had seen such a thing.
He should wait until he mastered more of the Dragon Court language before researching such dangerous magic further.
Just as Fisher returned to the carriage and entered his room with a helpless expression, he opened the door to find two white-scaled Dragon girls sitting on his bed.
It turned out to be Fashir and Keshil.
These two twins looked very similar; the only way to distinguish them was through their eyes—Fashir, the older sister, had black pupils, while the younger sister had silver.
They were sitting side by side on Fisher’s bed, looking at him as he entered the room, their tails tracing circles behind them with serious expressions, causing Fisher to raise an eyebrow.
“What are you two doing in my room?”
The two exchanged glances, then maintained their previous expressions while clasping each other’s hands and tilting their heads slightly to look at Fisher,
“Lord Fisher, buying Raphael was for that kind of thing, right?”
“That kind of thing?”
Fisher replied blandly, suddenly recalling Mill’s reaction back in the hotel room. Could that fool have shared this ridiculous suspicion with Fashir and Keshil, these two even bigger fools?
“Mm.”
“But we ask Lord Fisher to spare Lady Raphael.”
“Lady Raphael is a very good person.”
“As the guards of the Dragon Race, if possible, please take us as Lady Raphael’s substitutes.”
“We will do our utmost.”
The two spoke one after another, their expressions never changing, merely staring directly at Fisher at the door, seemingly declaring their determination.
As the guards of Raphael, lacking the corresponding strength, they had always relied on Lady Raphael for protection. If that was the case,
Then let us take this turn.
Fisher approached expressionlessly, his hands gliding over the faces of the two Dragon girls, brushing through their cascading hair until he reached their long ear lobes, pinching the soft skin there.
“Mm.”
“Ugh.”
Their faces gradually warmed, tinged with a layer of pink.
Fisher gently leaned down and blew into the other ear where they were touching. They instantly shrank back as if electrocuted, their pretense of calm completely collapsing into confusion and shyness, their silver tails beneath their linen garments swaying wildly, steam pouring out of their bodies.
“Two little brats.”
Fisher unemotionally patted their cheeks, causing them to hurriedly shut their eyes, clearly not understanding anything, yet still daring to say such things without being ready.
At this moment,
Fisher suppressed his desire to taste their fair skin, sighed softly as he patted their heads,
“Go back to sleep.”
Fashir and Keshil could not help but glance up at him before awkwardly getting off his bed.
Just then, at the doorway of the next room, a red long tail swished about, and after hearing Fashir and Keshil moving, it retracted back into the room.
Please remember to follow and vote, thank you all.
