Chapter 35: An Explanation of Goblins
Hello everyone, I am Yi Weixie.
After thinking it over, I decided to write a separate chapter for clarification to avoid confusion.
All the subhumans in this book are original settings and will differ from traditional portrayals. In the early stages, only a hint of this will be revealed, but later on, the differences will become quite clear. To avoid confusion, I want to emphasize that traditional subhuman settings should not be applied here.
The goblins in this story will not exhibit the situations seen in “Goblin Slayer.” The fact that there are female goblins indicates that they are not a species that raids females of other races for reproduction; such a setting does not exist among the subhumans in this book. Although it will later be introduced that humans and subhumans can produce offspring, cross-species reproduction is extremely difficult and requires extreme conditions.
In short, both parties look down on each other.
So please do not equate the goblins in this book with those in “Goblin Slayer”!!
