Chapter 586: 64. Deceiving the Teacher
“Clang!”
As a terrifying gust of wind swept through the room, it lifted the long hair of the two women, and the entire room reverberated with a clear metallic echo, as if the sword blade were scraping against something extremely tough.
But shortly after, the room gradually fell silent, leaving only the faint sound of breathing.
Jasmine was slightly taken aback, her hand, which was raised with the long sword, froze in mid-air as she looked at Fisher, who stood behind Eil, defending against the confrontation of the two women.
“Fisher”
However, Eil, who was trapped in his embrace, showed no other expression. In fact, she hadn’t placed much importance on Jasmine’s attack moments ago, but it was surprising to her that Fisher could simultaneously break free from the soul emptiness and exert his own strength.
Aside from that, she merely raised an eyebrow, leaning back comfortably against Fisher’s embrace, yawning as she looked at Jasmine with a “this is so comfortable” demeanor, which infuriated Jasmine to the point she wished to draw her sword and strike again, but the sword tip was tightly held by Fisher, leaving her unable to proceed further.
“You two, calm down for a moment.”
Fisher grit his teeth. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the hand gripping Jasmine’s sword hilt beginning to move restlessly, as if the soul within his flesh was desperately trying to extend Jasmine’s sword towards her, while simultaneously, Eil’s skin pressed against his began to quiver, requiring him to exert great effort to control the chaos within his soul.
“No! I can’t calm down! Who is this Eil? Why have I never heard Teacher Fisher mention her before? You two were definitely doing that just now, right?!”
Jasmine stared at the provocatively dressed demon in front of Fisher, gritting her teeth. Little did she know that Eil was not angry at all; instead, she chuckled coldly and looked at Jasmine, saying,
“Although it hasn’t happened yet, it still feels quite unpleasant… Oh, speaking of which, I’m a bit curious. That Baemon has actually left a mark on you? Does she view you and your group of ladies around you as indifferent, just like me? That’s quite unlike her.”
“Baemon?”
Jasmine raised her head in confusion, seemingly unfamiliar with the name. She then stared blankly at Fisher, who was behind Eil, causing him to sweat even more on his already weak forehead.
“Oh? Turns out you don’t even know who Baemon is?”
“Ah?”
For some reason, Eil’s expression appeared more relaxed when she saw Jasmine looking increasingly bewildered; it seemed that her earlier annoyance from being stirred by Baemon had dissipated significantly, along with the earlier confrontational tone Jasmine had taken with her…
Although it was not morally right to say, it was undeniable that people often find a bit of comfort in seeing someone worse off than themselves.
Jasmine’s grip on the hilt of her sword trembled slightly, feeling as if she could barely hold it. She stared blankly at Fisher beside her and asked,
“Who… is Baemon?”
“A demon god similar to me and indeed a very unpleasant and wicked existence… Oh, of course, generally speaking, being her devotee, one wouldn’t feel that way. I’ve seen those madmen she has bestowed knowledge upon worship her as an angel and a deity, not feeling there’s anything wrong with her at all.”
Eil shrugged, her casual words laden with a heavy subjective tint of displeasure. It seemed like her devotee had been taken away, which made her quite furious, leading to comments that differed sharply from what she had expressed while at the bottom of Nali Lake.
“Then… has Teacher Fisher… been with her?”
“……”
Jasmine opened her mouth in astonishment, while Eil fell silent, though she also glanced towards him. Her slightly elongated ears also perked up, seemingly waiting for his answer.
At this point, even Fisher didn’t know how it came to be, but the conflicts between the two seemed to have dissipated quietly, instead drawing the terrifying flames towards him, as if they intended to roast him over a fire.
But facing the two women’s silent inquiries, Fisher could no longer evade. He could only let go of Eil reluctantly and nodded stiffly.
“… I indeed had skin-to-skin contact with her.”
“……”
Jasmine’s mouth dropped open, her palms lost their strength, and although Fisher was still gripping the blade’s end of the long sword, she weakly released the hilt, letting it fall on the bed and then slide to the floor.
Eil also irritably swished her tail, causing the flame at the tip to swell again, becoming exceptionally bright.
Strangely enough, even though she hadn’t shown any concern when questioning Jasmine earlier, a perceptive person could easily tell that she held no prominent hostility towards Jasmine; rather, all of her hostility was directed at Hela, and the words spoken to Jasmine were likely just residuals of her displeasure towards Hela…
Although from Jasmine’s perspective, these residuals were indeed a painful blow.
Eil turned her head to look at Fisher, confirming once again his physical state, and then said,
“Hehe, it seems Baemon really has a fondness for you just like me. I’ve lived so long, and aside from myself, I’ve never heard of such things… No wonder, I can’t help you enter myth; I can only teach you some combat techniques that may not be quite suitable for you. Baemon is rather better, isn’t she?”
And as Jasmine’s long hair began to shift back towards black, it seemed that only now did she realize something was amiss.
Reflecting on other ladies related to Fisher, including the currently newly acquainted Eil and Baemon.
Rafael was out of the question; before her, he had already become a suitable tail partner with Fisher, and even after such a long separation, their reunion felt like a newly married couple. They spent every night together and he even brought Rafael to meet his mother.
Elizabeth, on the other hand, was even more significant, being Fisher’s first love from a very long time ago. Their progress was not for anyone to know, but considering their indescribable tacit understanding and their intertwined fates, Jasmine couldn’t believe that in their youth, they hadn’t tasted forbidden fruit while thinking of it herself…
Then what about the Renee mentioned by Rafael?
It seemed she recalled Rafael mentioning that there had once been clothing belonging to a sorceress inside the carriage of her husband (at that time, Jasmine still didn’t know it was Fisher’s). That carriage was certainly his living space, so at least it seemed they had reached a cohabitation stage, or it might well be that…
Eil had directly thrown a thunderous bolt; she had never even heard of this person, yet when she entered, clothes came flying before her, clearly a habitual offender.
And Baemon?
Teacher Fisher directly admitted to skin-to-skin contact?
What is “skin-to-skin”?
Reflecting back, Jasmine finally realized that it seemed she really hadn’t done anything with Teacher Fisher. There had been no progress at all, like being in a long-distance race where all the other competitors had already run out dozens of laps while she hadn’t even heard the starting gun.
No, there was also the captain of the Kingdom of Sardinia!
What was her name… Captain Alagina.
That captain…
That captain definitely hadn’t had an intimate relationship with Teacher Fisher; they might still just be ordinary friends!
“We can talk about Hela later. Eil, we are here to…”
“Hela? That’s another name for Baemon? How affectionate…”
Eil pushed again, her expression on her forehead a smirk that was more insincere, and for someone who knows very little about demons, Fisher almost felt each sentence was a landmine. From the outset questioning the significance of the mark, to the description of the relationship with Baemon, now even the names of her other compatriots that she didn’t know were mentioned…
But actually, Eil did not know that there was an even more intimate name for Hela, “Cupid,” which was the nickname they used during their flirtation.
But no matter, Eil’s anger level was already maxed out, and saying more wouldn’t be meaningful.
“The punishment is far from over. Even if you want to talk about other things, I see your little whale-folk girlfriend doesn’t have such thoughts anymore…”
She spiraled her tail down violently, ensnaring little Fisher as if she intended to extract the last thread of reason and power from his soul.
After that, Eil paused slightly, then turned her head to look at Jasmine, who was frozen in place, like a statue stained black…
Eil thought for a moment, then beckoned to Jasmine, asking,
“How about it? He really is despicable, right? So he must be punished well… It seems you’re in pain now too. Want to join me in punishing him?”
At that moment, Eil truly seemed to embody the legendary captivating demon, or rather, even if Eil usually favored sleeping and slacking off, the blood flowing in her bones was still that of seduction, which made her words directed at Jasmine so deadly.
She clenched her fists, her gaze seemingly lifted by Eil’s nearly tangible words, forcing her to look at the currently extremely weak Fisher on the bed.
Just now, to avoid a conflict between Jasmine and Eil, he had not only exhausted the weakness of his soul but also broken free from Eil’s powers to dissolve the confrontation, and now the conflicts had indeed become less sharp because those flames were burning him to death!
At this moment, Fisher’s extremely weak appearance starkly contrasted with how he looked on regular days. He was embraced by the detestable demon, constantly suffering under the scorching flames of desire, struggling painfully within the fire, appearing so weak and easy to bully…
Now, Teacher Fisher looked…
Jasmine swallowed hard, perhaps even she was unaware that the buried anger and sense of revenge within her heart made her increasingly excited, unable to resist the urge to bully the currently tempting Teacher Fisher, just like Eil.
After all…
She couldn’t always be Teacher Fisher’s student, could she?
But what if she wasn’t a student? Couldn’t she walk down this path of… deceiving the teacher?
The golden armor that had been extending from her hairpin due to the act of raising her sword slowly retracted back into her hairpin, and the long sword that had just fallen to the ground quickly disappeared out of sight as well.
Her breathing began to become hurried, like Eve tempted by the poison snake in Eden to pick the forbidden fruit, inevitably approaching the “Tree of Knowledge” within Eden, reaching out to pluck the fruit.
“I… want to punish Teacher Fisher?”
Perhaps she should have done this long ago; otherwise, she wouldn’t have faced so many setbacks, allowing such a wicked Teacher Fisher to misbehave outside.
Her face flushed slightly, unable to tell if it was from shyness or excitement, but her long black hair seemed to sharpen like a curse.
“Jasmine, wait…”
Fisher gritted his teeth, but Eil’s tail prevented him from speaking, stopping this ‘Eve’ hesitating under the “Tree of Knowledge”. Just as Eil had previously said, this was a punishment he deserved, and it wouldn’t be as comfortable as usual.
“I… I don’t know what to do…”
Jasmine was still kind-hearted, Fisher’s last call seemed to awaken the goodness and simplicity hidden within her, and that question-like utterance seemed to be a retreat, questioning and contemplating the ‘bad things’ she was about to do.
But with the “serpent” before her, there was no turning back now,
“What do you want to do to your Fee~she~ral~teacher~?”
In the air heavy with the scent of sulfur, Eil’s words were full of temptation.
“I… I don’t know… but I don’t want to… do this…”
Eil stared at her, and after a long time, she yawned, as if seeing through Jasmine, then shook her head and said,
“No, you want to. You just don’t want me nearby because you can’t admit your possessiveness. You don’t want to share this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity… But letting this chance go to that poor little whale-folk is also decent, because my current hatred for Baemon has already reached its peak…”
Eil reached out, and from the empty corner of the room flew over a stand filled with various whips, ropes, and other tools, making Fisher’s vision start to blur.
“Everything here is temporarily yours. You can decide what to do, but you’d better not waste this chance for punishment.”
Jasmine swallowed hard, looking at the flashing whips and flesh-colored ropes on the rack, along with jars filled with pink potions, which simply made her heart race.
Yet she didn’t argue back, clearly having her true thoughts pricked by Eil’s words.
After hesitating for a moment, she instead asked,
“What… will you do?”
Eil got up with a cold laugh, then jumped down from the bed, picking up her clothing piece by piece to dress herself. The glow shining like molten lava seemed ready to ignite everything.
“I want to prepare a damned surprise for that person who dared to steal from me, along with wanting to find out what the hell happened while I was asleep…”
Then, the brightness on her body became even more evident, as if she was about to be ignited by lava, ready to take off like a soaring meteor.
“Buzz buzz buzz!”
The next second, she transformed into a phantom flame and flew out of the castle, soon disappearing, and the slightly ajar gate of the castle slammed shut and locked, no one to come in or out.
“……”
The castle instantly fell silent, granting Fisher a moment to breathe. He rubbed his dazed head, the thirst of his soul growing more evident, leaving him craving for replenishment.
“Teacher Fisher…”
But just then, Jasmine, standing beside him, suddenly spoke up, pulling him back to his senses.
Even though the filled-with-anger Eil had temporarily left, he still had a seemingly calm Jasmine by his side, whose inner turmoil was incomprehensible.
At this moment, she stood sideways to him, looking directly at the wooden rack by the bed as if hesitating and struggling.
Fisher remained silent for a moment, words rolling in his throat, preparing to explain,
“Jasmine, I…”
“You don’t need to say anything, Teacher Fisher. I understand. I actually don’t blame you…”
Jasmine’s words were gentle, slowly easing the stone pressing heavily on Fisher’s heart.
She seemed as understanding as before, not swayed by Eil’s manipulation, thus remaining true to herself.
Her long hair, tainted by the curse, subtly shifted from black to blue, a positive sign dissipating the previously dangerous and fiery atmosphere in the room.
“Jasmine, regarding Hela, she is the demon god who released the two demons. Earlier, I and her…”
“Shh, Teacher Fisher, listen…”
Jasmine pressed her lips together. Now fully transformed with blue hair, she appeared perfectly normal; in the dark, Fisher couldn’t see her expression clearly, yet he could feel her gentle words brushing past his ear…
But the next second, to Fisher’s incredulous gaze, he saw her gently raising her hand towards the rack and grasping a whip crackling with thunder.
“……”
Fisher swallowed hard, momentarily frozen in place.
Jasmine held that whip, and then with a smile, she turned her head and gradually began to remove her priestess robe, revealing underneath it a form-fitting outfit that made her figure extremely apparent, as she asked Fisher,
“Did you hear that, Teacher Fisher? I can’t hold back any longer…”
“Can’t hold back?”
“Mm, it means…”
Jasmine’s smile held a hint of apology, but the long whale-folk tail behind her impatiently lifted, revealing her true thoughts.
“Now I can’t help but want to bully and punish Teacher Fisher.”
