Chapter 88 – 25. Princess Carry
The moment the fat man’s drunken face turned and saw Fisher, he was about to reveal a lecherous look, but suddenly his expression changed, turning extremely pale as if he had seen something unbelievable.
“Mother Goddess favors you; you have the blessing of the Mother Goddess!”
Fisher frowned, momentarily not understanding the meaning behind the other’s words. Did he have something special about him?
The first thing that came to his mind was the Supplement Handbook for Sub-Humans, but this magical item seemed unrelated to what the other had called the “blessing of the Mother Goddess.”
But there was no time for Fisher to think, as the man was staring at him like a madman, as if he wanted to devour him.
“Impossible! Impossible! You are a man! How could you receive the blessing of the Mother Goddess! Speak! How did you do it!! Hurry up!!”
He raised his hands and suddenly lunged at Fisher, but before Fisher could react, Captain Alagina behind him had already firmly grabbed his shoulder, abruptly pulling him down and throwing the fat man perfectly over her shoulder.
“Point One, you can go back now.”
“Chirp!”
The mouse hiding behind the table breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Fisher’s words, saluted him, and quickly scampered away on all fours. Fisher closed the tavern door and gave a gesture to the trembling tavern owner behind him, signaling him to leave quickly, before he crawled out through the back window.
“Get away! You manly woman!”
“Alagina, be careful!”
The man who had been thrown to the ground ignored Captain Alagina beside him and suddenly flipped his fat body over, shoving Alagina aside, then recklessly charged towards Fisher.
Fisher’s eyes narrowed, and he quickly raised his staff in front of him to block the deadly impact of the man’s bulk. The powerful body of the Dragon Race only pushed him back a step, while the staff firmly pressed against the man’s flabby face.
“Not willing to speak? Why won’t you speak? The blessing of the Mother Goddess should be shared selflessly with others, you damn selfish bastard! Let me, Bart from the Sorceress Research Society, teach you what sharing is!”
“I don’t have the blessing of the Mother Goddess; are you high?”
“Impossible! It’s too obvious, too obvious! You want to deceive me?”
The fat man in front of him gritted his teeth, and his entire magical circuit began to glow. Just as Fisher guessed, the person in front of him was a “Synthetic Sorceress” from the Sorceress Research Society. His body glowed with layers of deep purple magical circuits, but both the shape and some parts’ colors were human, making the entire magical circuit strangely mixed.
According to the theory of the soul source from magical circuits, it seemed that he must have used some technique to alter the human soul towards the nature of a sorceress, but Fisher did not understand how it was done.
In that instant when the magical circuits lit up, everyone present felt the gravity around them increase many times over. Fisher frowned, feeling his body being weighed down by the originally light clothing, quickly leaving two deep footprints on the wooden floor.
Looking over, Alagina and the pirates next to her were in the same situation.
Before him, Bart laughed, his fat body becoming incredibly light, as if weightless, floating in the air. He swung his fists, ready to attack Fisher.
The sorceress’s **trait**: Anti-gravity.
Within the area affected by the sorceress’s trait, gravity applies completely opposite forces to mass; the heavier an object is, the lighter it becomes, and the lighter gives it more gravity.
Can a Synthetic Sorceress even mimic the **trait** of a sorceress?
Nearby pirates and other patrons had already collapsed to the floor, on the verge of sinking into it. Fisher felt that every piece of clothing and his staff weighed a ton, even feeling his belt nearly snapping from the pull on his hips.
Grinding his teeth, he released the heavy staff, which instantly drilled into the ground like a nail, blocking Bart’s violent strike aimed at his head.
“Crash!”
A surge of immense force made Fisher stumble back several steps, but Bart crazily swung his limbs then charged at Fisher relentlessly.
Just when the next punch was about to hit Fisher’s forehead, a chilling aura suddenly enveloped everyone present.
At that moment, Bart felt a chill and quickly retracted his fist, as a sharp ice wall rose up in front of him, separating him from Fisher. Had he not pulled back, his hand would have been severed by that ice wall.
Turning to look, he saw Alagina with a cold expression, holding a delicate sword that emanated a cold light. As the sword plunged into the floor, an icy breath extended from the ground to the front of that ice wall.
Bart opened his mouth, suddenly sober enough to recognize the Ice Mountain Queen, one of the Four Great Pirates, once Alagina drew this sword.
It was simply because the sword in her hand was the hereditary **relic** of the Sardinia Kingdom’s clan, the **Ice Prince**, capable of creating solid ice from thin air, a weapon with endless chill, and also the Ice Mountain Queen’s most iconic item.
“The Four Great Pirates and the blessed by the Mother Goddess. What kind of luck have I stumbled upon today?”
Bart’s expression turned serious, coldly staring at Alagina behind him.
Alagina’s clothing had also become numerous times heavier due to the sorceress’s trait, but the Ice Prince in her hand remained incredibly light. Without moving her body, Alagina skillfully wielded the sword, striking at Bart suspended in mid-air.
Countless slashes made of solid ice surged towards Bart, whose trait made them almost impossible to evade due to their increased speed. Fisher, seizing the opportunity, swiftly grabbed Bart’s legs, preventing any movement. The restrained Bart was struck by Alagina’s ice slashes, letting out a wretched scream.
Seeing Bart go rigid due to the strikes, Fisher subtly flicked his fingers and snapped his fingers. With that crisp sound, the staff embedded in the ground also lit up, and a series of buzzing noises reminiscent of bees filled the cramped tavern.
That was Fisher’s **Bees’ Dance**, swirling white light blades shot at Bart from behind. With the ice slashes in front and the Bees’ Dance behind, the fat sorceress was caught between relentless attacks in the air, bleeding profusely.
However, due to the structure of the Synthetic Sorceress’s body or perhaps because he was too fat, even after being hit multiple times and bleeding profusely, he was still able to act.
“Ahhh! Get away!”
Facing the continuous attacks, he screamed furiously, his ring glowing with magical energy again.
Four-Ring Magic – **Shining Blade**!
The Shining Blade took the form of invisible blades, spinning around and severing all the white light of the Bees’ Dance and the ice slashes. The magic powered by the sorceress’s vast magic continued towards Alagina.
As she was unable to move to escape, the space in front of her distorted, causing the Shining Blade to deviate from its original path, flying along the tavern’s floor towards the outside and crashing into the top of the dark cave outside.
Seven-Ring Magic – **Space Refraction**.
Fisher gripped the staff planted in the ground, protecting Alagina who remained in place.
“Damn your father, dare to touch our captain!”
The fat first mate lying on the ground watched this scene, his eyes reddening. He bit into his own sleeve and, after biting it off, pulled out the gun at his waist, taking several shots at the fat man.
“Bang! Bang!”
Several bursts of blood erupted from Bart’s body, and his bright magical circuit flickered. It looked as if he was about to collapse, unwillingly glancing at Fisher, the blessing of the Mother Goddess was in sight, but he understood that he was no match for the combined forces of the others.
He had to escape and bring this message back to the Sorceress Research Society!
Bart gritted his teeth, and at the moment the sorceress’s trait was about to end, a deep purple magical light exploded in his hand, targeting the ground.
Five-Ring Magic – **Explosion**.
Just as Fisher raised his head, he saw the purple magic illuminate, and he cursed under his breath. Just as he thought to move, it was too late— the nearby magic had already spread out, a violent heat and shockwave rushed towards him through the air. Time was running out; Fisher could only barely raise his hands to cover his face, but suddenly felt a cold object enveloping him.
Along with a soft embrace wrapping around his body, he was pulled away from the spot.
“Boom!”
As the smoke cleared, Fisher coughed and raised his head, realizing how incredibly awkward his position was.
Before Fisher, the expressionless Alagina breathed heavily, holding him in her arms, leaving him suspended in the air. After confirming that Fisher was unharmed, Alagina, slightly flustered, set him down.
“I’m sorry.”
“…”
Fisher’s eyes instantly turned into dead fish eyes. When he was on the Southern Continent, he also carried Raphael like this; he didn’t expect to receive karma now on the Western Continent, being held by the Ice Mountain Queen.
He silently stepped back a little from Alagina, and both of them awkwardly avoided mentioning the incident. With flushed earlobes, Alagina tried to ease the awkward atmosphere by looking towards the direction of the explosive smoke where the Synthetic Sorceress was running away, saying,
“He’s getting away…”
“It’s fine; he can’t escape.”
Fisher smiled confidently. His staff was still inserted in the ground, and he snapped his fingers towards Bart’s fleeing direction. The symbols on his staff lit up in layers, and from the void, numerous invisible threads emitting a crystalline glow extended out, entangling the fleeing Bart tightly.
“Damn it! It’s the **Thread Spinner**! Just wait! The Sorceress Research Society will make you understand what pretty means!”
He screamed in agony but was wrapped tighter and tighter by the invisible threads, finally being thrown to the ground in a massive cocoon. With a look of unwillingness, he glanced back only to be interrupted by Fisher, who walked over and stepped on his head to silence his cries.
Fisher’s expression was cold. He looked at the mess around, knowing that soon many gang members would come over, as the tavern was likely backed by gangs.
He lifted his staff and struck Bart’s head with a blow. Following Bart’s intense scream, Fisher dragged the already unconscious Bart toward Alagina and her companions.
“This isn’t a safe place to talk; follow me.”
